00:00Want to play Pokemon Legends ZA on your PC in glorious high frame rates and resolution?
00:05Then, my friend, you're in the right place.
00:07In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the steps to properly set up and install this game on your PC.
00:12But before you dive in, let me remind you, make sure you actually own the game.
00:16Yes, that means having the official physical or digital copy of Pokemon Legends ZA before you start emulating it.
00:23We don't want Nintendo knocking on our door with a lawsuit, do we?
00:26Trust me, those guys don't mess around.
00:29So here's what you'll need.
00:30Four key files to get started.
00:32First things first, open up your web browser.
00:35We're not here to play games with Bing, so make sure it's Chrome or Firefox and Google Eden Emulator.
00:41You should see the official website as the top result, click it.
00:44Now, don't just blindly click anything.
00:46Folks, click the Download button.
00:48Eden Emulator is available on Android, Linux, macOS, and Windows, but we're going to focus on the Windows install today.
00:55So hit the Windows Download button, scroll down to the Assets section, click Show All 15 Assets, and find the Eden Windows zip file.
01:03Download that, and once it's done, we can move on to the fun part, installing.
01:07Now, take that zip file, create a new folder called Eden Emulator, open up the zip, and drag and drop all the files into that folder.
01:16Simple, right?
01:17Now go ahead and open that folder and run the Eden application to launch the emulator.
01:21Next up, step 2, getting those osu-important keys and firmware files from your Nintendo Switch.
01:27Don't worry, you're not hacking anything.
01:29You just need your own Switch and a custom firmware installed.
01:33If that's all set, you can grab those files.
01:36If you don't know how to install custom firmware yet, no sweat, I've got your back.
01:40Scan the QR code on the screen with your phone, and you'll be sent to a page that gives you the keys, firmware, and even the XCI file for Pokemon Legends ZA.
01:47Just follow the steps on that page, then transfer those files to your PC using USB or Bluetooth.
01:54Easy peasy.
01:56Step 3, let's get these files into Eden Emulator.
02:00Go to Tools, then install firmware from zip, and locate your firmware file.
02:04Hit Open, and Eden will do its thing.
02:17Next, go back to Tools, hit Install Decryption Keys, unzip your keys file, and install the product and title keys.
02:24Now you're officially ready to play Nintendo Switch games on your PC.
02:28Pretty cool, right?
02:29Now for step 4, optimizing your Eden Emulator settings.
02:46This is where the magic happens.
02:48To ensure smooth gameplay with no glitches or frame rate drops, you'll need to tweak a few settings.
02:53Don't worry, I'll walk you through each one.
02:56Pause the video if you need to follow each setting, and you'll be good to go.
03:00Once you've done that, you're ready to start playing Pokemon Legends ZA on your PC like a pro.
03:04Once you've done that, you'll be good to go.
03:34Once you've done that, you'll be good to go.
04:04Quick disclaimer, I won't be able to show you gameplay in this video, because, well, let's be honest, Nintendo really doesn't like Switch emulation content, and they have a thing about banning YouTube channels that post stuff like that.
04:30So I hope you understand why I can't share actual gameplay, but if you follow all the steps in this tutorial, you'll be good to go.
