00:00Kaisenot has officially hit a million active Twitch subscribers during Mafia-Thon 3,
00:04a historic first on Twitch. But fans are split on whether this is pure fan achievement or a
00:09corporate-fueled spectacle. The 23-year-old streamer kicked off Mafia-Thon 3 on September
00:141st, 2025, a month-long marathon of non-stop streaming. His stream included celebrity guests,
00:21all aimed at breaking records and raising funds for a school in Nigeria. And while his streams
00:25bring in millions of views, on September 27th, Twitch took to X to post, chat he did it,
00:31a million subs in 27 days. Congrats at Kaisenot, legendary. One fan joined in online to celebrate
00:38the milestone, explaining that, quote, it's a testament to consistency, creativity, and connecting
00:43with an audience. But critics argue that Kaisenot's milestone was largely driven by sponsors and
00:48corporate backing. In partnership with Valorant, Twitch is currently running a September event,
00:54which is boosting subscriptions for 48 hours until October 1st, giving streamers an extra sub for
00:59every five gifted subscriptions. And could be a reason why Valorant shows up at the top of Kaisenot's
01:04stream for the monthly top gifters. Other names include Snoop Dogg, eBay, Crocs, and State Farm,
01:11whose combined top five donations totaled over 170,000 subscriptions, an estimated value of more
01:17than a million dollars. But Kaisenot doesn't get to keep it all. As a Twitch partner, the platform
01:22takes a cut of subscription revenue, usually 50% for most streamers, though long-term partners can
01:27earn up to 70%, although Kaisenot's exact contract terms are not publicly known. And while real fans did
01:34contribute to the new subscribers, corporate donations and Twitch's marketing push clearly played
01:39a major role, raising questions about how organic their milestone really was. Share your thoughts
