The football stars of tomorrow are in Chile.

As the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup kicked off this weekend with some early surprises...as one of the big favourites Brazil were held to a 2-2 draw by Mexico.

And Spain who have been dominating at all levels fell to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Morocco.

However there were wins for the tournament's record winners Argentina and losing finalist Italy.

00:00Six-time champions Argentina got off to a flyer against Cuba.
00:07But a questionable red card after 10 minutes would leave them a man short.
00:11Yet 10 Argentine players were more than enough for a full-strength Cuba.
00:17Cuba found one but Argentina powered their way to a 3-1 victory in Group D.
00:23Their traditional rivals Brazil found themselves trading CONCACAF's Mexico after 10 minutes.
00:28But the young Samba boys recovered scoring twice to take a 2-1 lead.
00:41However, Mexico pegged them back 4 minutes from full-time to share the points in Group C.
00:50Spain started as Brazil's strongest rival in Group C but they were behind Morocco after 54 minutes.
00:56And the Spaniards went 2 goals down 4 minutes later as the Moroccans sounded a warning with a 2-0 victory.
01:07Back in Group D, Italy won a penalty call against Australia in their opener.
01:12Mattia Manini's resulting goal was the only one of the match as the 2023 runners-up started with a victory.
