Mexico were ruthless in the round of 16 and put tears in the eyes of hosts Chile, with a 4-1 win.  Also advancing to the quarters were Spain, who defeated Ukraine by a goal to nothing.

00:00The FIFA under 20 World Cup round of 16 saw Spain edging Ukraine 1-0.

00:06Pablo Garcia with a clever finish in the 24th minute put his side into the quarter-finals.

00:17In the other match, Mexico were too good for home side Chile.

00:20Jimenez made it 1-0 to El Tricolor in the 26th minute.

00:30Then in the 67th, Mexico would double the lead.

00:33Following some neat knocking, Fembrace displayed his individual brilliance and found the back of the net.

00:41That was followed by an exhibition with the keeper having to make the save,

00:45but the Mexicans had another bite at the cherry with Hugo Cambiros getting his teams 3rd in the 80th.

00:53It was a special moment for Cambiros who came off the bench to do the honours.

01:00Cambiros then notched his brace 6 minutes later with Mexico in the ascendancy with a handsome lead.

01:11Chile did manage to find the net but it was too little too late.

01:15Juan Rosal scored in the 88th but Mexico progressed to the last 8 with a 4-1 win.
