00:00The Ravens, Joe, and here's the thing,
00:02as they lose to the Kansas City Chiefs 37-20,
00:05there will be some who feel like this is a Kansas City story.
00:09I disagree, and I think I can prove it.
00:11The Chiefs scored 37.
00:13Congrats, that's the third most points
00:15the Ravens have given up this year.
00:17So, they give 38 to Detroit, 41 to Buffalo.
00:22Like, Kansas City getting to 37,
00:24yeah, that's like par for the course
00:26against a Ravens defense, yes, injured,
00:30the injuries aren't getting any better,
00:32and has just now been atrocious,
00:35pretty easily, arguably, the worst in football a month in.
00:39Oh, I mean, Baltimore, their identity
00:42was made on the defensive side of the ball.
00:44When Mike McDonald was there.
00:45Absolutely.
00:46Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, and Ed Reed
00:48aren't walking out there for the Baltimore Ravens,
00:50and at the end of the day,
00:51they're not going to make a playoff push
00:53until they fix the defensive side of the ball.
00:56They can outscore teams all they want,
00:57but they can't stop the run,
00:59and they got exposed from an offensive perspective yesterday.
01:03That offensive line couldn't contain the pass rush
01:05of Chris Jones at Kansas City,
01:07and that's all a problem right now,
01:09and I think when you look at Lamar
01:11and you look at this team
01:12from a mentality, psychological perspective,
01:16they're shocked.
01:17They have the standing A count right now.
01:19So, where is this team going to go moving forward?
01:22They're still potentially, Kevin,
01:24the best team in the AFC North,
01:25but now, big picture,
01:27they're nowhere near the best team in the AFC.
01:30Well, again, and them being the best team
01:33in the AFC North,
01:35the Browns entered the season
01:36having no chance at being that.
01:38The offense is atrocious.
01:41Pittsburgh is 3-1,
01:43but no one feels great about it.
01:45I mean, the record is good,
01:47but they don't feel like they're playing great,
01:48and Cincinnati without Burrow
01:51is a very, very difficult evaluation,
01:53but for the Ravens, Joe,
01:56it's not about being the best team in the North.
01:57It's not even about being the best team in the AFC.
01:59They're supposed to be the best team in football.
02:01Right.
02:01The Baltimore Ravens started this year
02:03booked as a favorite in Buffalo,
02:07the new Super Bowl favorites.
02:09They entered this game against Kansas City
02:12on the road as a favorite.
02:14So, there is no...
02:15Oh, come on, guys.
02:16It's a tough schedule, Bill.
02:17No, not at all.
02:19The Ravens are favored in all of these games, right?
02:21And it is a team who has, I think, a lot of issues,
02:26but when you're 1-2, even, 0-2,
02:29guys, we got time.
02:31We got time.
02:33I don't think there's going to be a moment
02:35we feel good about the Ravens this year.
02:37They are a carbon copy of what Cincinnati was last year, right?
02:41Playing from behind,
02:42that desperation week to week to week.
02:45They're one injury away from just collapsing, unfortunately,
02:49and I don't wish that on the team,
02:51but let's call it what it is.
02:52I mean, if you're going to buy in right now
02:54in week number five and moving forward on the Ravens,
02:57tread lightly.
02:58That's why you're getting certain value right now,
03:00and I think that's the problem when we look at this team.
03:03We knew they could score points,
03:04but nobody thought the defense would fall off a cliff.
03:07they could score.
