00:08In an authoritarian escalation, President Donald Trump ordered the militarization of Portland, Oregon,
00:14and authorized the use of force against its own population with the aim of repressing citizens who reject his immigration policies and the violence of the ICE raids.
00:24Trump described Portland as a city devastated by war and labeled anti-fascist and anti-racist movement as domestic terrorists,
00:34creating an alarmist narrative to legitimize the deployment of troops.
00:39The measure was met with unanimous and strong rejection from local authorities.
00:43A gunman opened a fire inside a church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's Chapel in Michigan during a Sunday service
00:58and set the building ablaze, killing at least four people and injuring eight others.
01:02According to Michigan Police Department, authorities' officers shot and killed the suspect before he could cause full decorities at the Holy House.
01:12Police Chief William Ranger stated that rescue teams have not yet finished searching the church
01:18and said that some people remain under their rubble in unaccessible areas.

01:29There is a couple additional bodies that we've discovered in the church.
01:33So that makes our total victim count up to four victims.
01:38As I said before, there has already been the suspect who is deceased as well.
01:44So we have five deceased persons from this tragic incident.
01:50Again, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of this incident.
01:56It could have been completely avoided.
01:59And it's very tragic.
02:01And that's not what our community is.
02:03I'd also like to acknowledge the heroism of not only the first responders, but the people who were inside that church at the time.
02:14They were shielding the children who were also present within the church, moving them to safety.
02:22Just hundreds of people just practicing their faith, just extreme courage, brave, and that's the type of community that we are.
