00:00:03Oh, my gosh.
00:00:04Would you see these in your country?
00:00:06Never. Nothing.
00:00:08Watching Maddie walk around New Orleans
00:00:10is like a kid to Disneyland,
00:00:12and they're, like, overstimulated.
00:00:15When does the flashing stuff start?
00:00:18It's like a different planet to me.
00:00:22Welcome to Miami.
00:00:23Miami!
00:00:25Juan has been used to traveling around the world,
00:00:28flirting for tips,
00:00:30and our relationship is not perfect.
00:00:32Nobody's is.
00:00:33And there's been times
00:00:34that have been really challenging for us.
00:00:35I'm just still nervous about the situation
00:00:37with a girl reaching out.
00:00:39A lady reached out to me
00:00:41and had said that they had hooked up.
00:00:44If he wants to cheat, there's a will, there's a way.
00:00:46I still have questions I need answered,
00:00:48and I will be getting those.
00:00:50So, my mom, she's really excited to meet you.
00:00:54She had asked maybe you wanted to sleep
00:00:56in, like, a separate room.
00:00:57Staying in my mother-in-law's house,
00:01:02it's really hard.
00:01:04What do you think, Mom?
00:01:05More beautiful in person?
00:01:07Nice and thin.
00:01:08Not for long!
00:01:09They're not in their own place,
00:01:11and, uh, have to consider me here.
00:01:15I've always been the jealous,
00:01:17possessive person in the relationship.
00:01:19So, how far can I push it
00:01:22without me saying, like,
00:01:23wait a minute, this is my husband?
00:01:25What if Ani could be a better partner to Matt than me?
00:01:29It's a risk that comes with being in a throuple.
00:01:35I can't wait to take you to see the family.
00:01:37It's important to me that you and Jordan, uh, get along.
00:01:40You're her stepmother.
00:01:42She and me is enemies.
00:01:45She say, my dad is stupid.
00:01:47This girl is coming just for the green card.
00:01:49Her concern is just about,
00:01:51does dad really need to have more kids?
00:01:53Maybe I'm sorry.
00:01:54If there's a problem there,
00:01:56I wanna know,
00:01:57and I wanna be sure of who I'm marrying.
00:01:59I come for,
00:02:00for my new family.
00:02:02Why she jerked me the bull .
00:02:05Now I say,
00:02:06I say I'm a snake.
00:02:09You don't come in the bed, okay?
00:02:11Ah, .
00:02:14You don't come in the bed.
00:02:16Van loves eggs that are not fully cooked, for some reason.
00:02:32So, I'm doing my best at making them
00:02:35not fully cooked.
00:02:37He's probably gonna be thrilled about that.
00:02:43Okay, let's go surprise him and see if I have some juice.
00:02:55So it's our first morning in Torrenton.
00:02:58No surprise, we did not have much privacy last night.
00:03:02You know, gotta get the boys to sleep.
00:03:04And of course, David sleeps in bed with us,
00:03:07so that doesn't allow much time to be intimate.
00:03:10Rise and shine.
00:03:14Good morning. Wakey, wakey.
00:03:18Breakfast with eggs that are a little bit soggy.
00:03:22Oh, this sounds like the perfect morning.
00:03:25This is time to get ready.
00:03:27There you go.
00:03:29Eggs on banana?
00:03:30Yeah. Sorry.
00:03:32Cool. No, that's good.
00:03:34How are you, kids? Are you good?
00:03:36The kids are good.
00:03:38They're tired because of our late night.
00:03:41Well, thank you.
00:03:42Letting me sleep in a little.
00:03:44Yeah.
00:03:45I guess I gotta get ready and then what?
00:03:47Well, I thought because it's just you and Mimi,
00:03:49you could snuggle for a little bit and then we'll get ready.
00:03:52So back in bed?
00:03:53Yeah.
00:03:57Thank you. I don't know how to start.
00:03:59You know how to start? I know how to start.
00:04:01Woo-hoo! Finally.
00:04:03Mm-hmm. Can I get a pillow?
00:04:05After two nights.
00:04:06How did you end up with all four pillows?
00:04:08You don't need no pillow, man. I promise that.
00:04:10I do need a pillow because I'm going to snuggle you.
00:04:14Mm-hmm.
00:04:16Mm-hmm.
00:04:17This is how I feel.
00:04:18I forgot this for y'all.
00:04:20This is better than breakfast.
00:04:22So I'm realizing sex in life is going to be different now.
00:04:28It's not like, it's not the same like when she goes on a cruise ship
00:04:31and we stay in the room.
00:04:33But today, we got some privacy, so you need to take advantage.
00:04:36And we did that.
00:04:37I don't know if you can see my face, but I'm feeling so happy.
00:04:40I'm feeling free. I'm oof.
00:04:48Free?
00:04:49Yes.
00:04:51You ready to go see my town?
00:04:52It's actually pretty nice outside.
00:04:53I know. It's hot. We might get hot in our sweaters.
00:04:55Where's the cold weather at?
00:04:57It's coming.
00:04:58So last night, we got home pretty late,
00:05:00and so it was really hard to see things.
00:05:02So today, I really want to take Juan on like a tour of where I grew up.
00:05:06Woo-hoo!
00:05:07I'm hoping this tour will just be able to get him a little bit excited
00:05:10about where we're going to live.
00:05:15This is my parents' house. Right here. This big one.
00:05:18So this is the house I grew up in.
00:05:20That's a huge house.
00:05:22It reminds me of the Prince of Baylor and everything.
00:05:24This is the main street.
00:05:29Wow.
00:05:35Okay, if this is the main street, how many restaurants do you have?
00:05:38Six restaurants.
00:05:39Six restaurants.
00:05:40Three Mexican, one Chinese restaurant, and two American restaurants.
00:05:45Well, I don't think those are too many.
00:05:50When I get off the cruise ship on the islands, I'm used to having a lot of restaurants, a lot of options, where to go to eat.
00:05:57I guess I'm going to get tired of eating the same thing, so I better start cooking, I guess.
00:06:02I'm so excited to walk with you down Main Street.
00:06:08There's the Chinese restaurant that's actually open.
00:06:12Well, that's the reason I'm having a restaurant.
00:06:14Yeah.
00:06:17Here's the gym.
00:06:18You want a peek at the gym?
00:06:19Oh, this is the gym.
00:06:20Peek in it.
00:06:21You're going to like going to the gym?
00:06:23Well, it's actually one person.
00:06:25Maybe I'll get you to like board games?
00:06:27So I'm coming from a place where there is energy to a small town, slow, like a retirement home.
00:06:39So you guys play bingo here?
00:06:41There is some bingo in town.
00:06:42I would love to go to bingo.
00:06:43Oh.
00:06:44Tarleton, one of the best places for living.
00:06:48There is one movie theater.
00:06:50They are all movies.
00:06:51Dracula, The Grinch.
00:06:53But what's better than a classic movie?
00:06:56Wow.
00:06:57There's a lot of cows.
00:06:58So if you like cows, you can go visit the farmers.
00:07:01Oh, oh, oh.
00:07:02I can smell.
00:07:04Cow poop.
00:07:05I don't even smell it.
00:07:07Come to Tarleton, Wyoming.
00:07:10I invite you guys.
00:07:11You're more than welcome.
00:07:15Well, it's very different from Colombia, definitely.
00:07:18And what about like the cruise?
00:07:19Like what do you think is going to be the most different from the cruise?
00:07:24All about the cruise is drinks and bars and food and, you know, chops.
00:07:29You know, one thing I think that's similar is like the cruise, you have like a thousand workers.
00:07:34So you like live in a small community already.
00:07:38You have one bar.
00:07:39We have more bars here than you do on the ship.
00:07:41Well, I think the difference about this, I know this is a small community.
00:07:45The cruise is a small community too.
00:07:47Well, you know, people go and comes and some people go home and then other comes from vacation.
00:07:54And then you start seeing new people all the time.
00:07:56Yeah.
00:07:57I don't know everyone in my town.
00:07:58I mean, I'm just saying that's the difference.
00:07:59I don't know all 6,000 people.
00:08:01I know like 500 people.
00:08:04The cruise ship and the town is a whole different thing.
00:08:07It's not the same life.
00:08:09I think she's wrong and she just don't want to accept it.
00:08:12I haven't seen one person that I've known as we've been walking down.
00:08:16Mm-hmm.
00:08:17So what's the difference?
00:08:19No difference.
00:08:21My life is totally changing and this is not helping at all.
00:08:26I think it's better if she just helps me get used to this new life than rather telling me,
00:08:33you're grown and this is the same thing and it's the same.
00:08:37It is not the same thing.
00:08:38And we all know that besides her, I guess.
00:08:43It's not even winter yet.
00:08:44I'm cold.
00:09:03What are you doing?
00:09:06I'm just looking at you.
00:09:07I can't look at you.
00:09:08What's up, baby?
00:09:16How did you sleep?
00:09:17I bet it's very comfortable.
00:09:18I know.
00:09:19I like it.
00:09:20It's a new mattress.
00:09:21I just bought this in anticipation of your arrival.
00:09:23It's Joan's first morning in America.
00:09:25I'm feeling great.
00:09:26I can't believe that I was really honestly able to just wake up next to her.
00:09:30It's the best feeling I've ever had, truly.
00:09:32Like, it's the best feeling ever that I've ever, ever had.
00:09:35You missed me?
00:09:37Oh, my God.
00:09:38I missed you like crazy.
00:09:39Can't wait to squeeze that booty.
00:09:41What, is my mom mowing the lawn?
00:09:54Oh, yeah.
00:09:56Hey, Mom.
00:09:59Hi, Greg.
00:10:01You're still sleeping?
00:10:04We're waking up.
00:10:05Oh.
00:10:07It was a big day yesterday.
00:10:10So when the lights went out last night, I gave her a kiss on the lips.
00:10:13Um, we hugged a little bit, and then she was just, she passed, like, almost out immediately.
00:10:18Um, bringing that conversation up about separate rooms, I think Joan felt a little blindsided about that.
00:10:23So meeting my mom, it made her definitely a little bit nervous about it, and there was no rush for any intimacy to happen.
00:10:29My mom's got some friends down in Florida.
00:10:31I think maybe she'll have to take a little bit of a vacation.
00:10:33Even just for a few days, uh, it would help out a lot around here, you know?
00:10:37Mm-hm.
00:10:38And far as our privacy is concerned, I'm a little bit scared, so...
00:10:43You know, she's just worried about respecting her will and her house.
00:10:48I feel like I have to be perfect in everything.
00:10:52You are perfect, baby.
00:10:55Getting our own house will make me feel better.
00:10:59Oh, no, baby, it's definitely on top priority, for sure.
00:11:03You know?
00:11:04Mm-hm.
00:11:05But renting a place here is not like in Uganda, you know, where it costs $300, $400 a month.
00:11:10Here it's quadruple that.
00:11:12It's just the best option we have at this moment.
00:11:14She obviously wants her own place.
00:11:17She wants a place that we can have privacy for ourselves and just be ourselves together.
00:11:21But this is what we have to deal with for now, and, uh, we're gonna get through it.
00:11:27Oh, wow. I knew I smelled something.
00:11:29Oh, yeah.
00:11:30And to be honest with you, if I did move out, I would definitely miss my mother a lot, you know?
00:11:34It would be crazy, but that's-that's okay.
00:11:36Babe! Breakfast will be ready in, like, five minutes!
00:11:41Where is she, by the way?
00:11:42She is taking a shower.
00:11:44Again?
00:11:46Last night she took a shower.
00:11:48I know, she takes a lot of showers.
00:11:50Why?
00:11:51You know, she likes to be clean.
00:11:53There goes my water bill.
00:11:54I'll have to put a little timer on there, you know?
00:11:58The thing is, in Uganda, they don't necessarily always have hot water, so she'll take, like, a cool shower.
00:12:03She can always jump in the pool, too, if she wants to.
00:12:05Yeah.
00:12:07Listen, when you have your own house, and you start paying your bills, you'll see how conscious you become of everything, you know?
00:12:14You're right, you're absolutely right.
00:12:16Okay?
00:12:17You're right.
00:12:18I'm not-I'm not upset.
00:12:19I'm not mad.
00:12:20Those look good, Greg.
00:12:21You gonna go outside, Greg?
00:12:22Yeah.
00:12:24Greg doesn't help out, but he keeps a lot of food coming into this house.
00:12:29Oh, can you grab a spoon, too, please?
00:12:31Spoon?
00:12:32But pay rent, per se, he doesn't-
00:12:35He never really paid rent here.
00:12:38Oh, good morning.
00:12:40Good morning.
00:12:41I made you some eggs.
00:12:43Oh, this looks good.
00:12:44Hopefully it's not too cold now.
00:12:46That looks good.
00:12:48Like you were going to work, right?
00:12:50You're dressing.
00:12:51Yes.
00:12:52But you're not going today.
00:12:53Is that too much?
00:12:54No, it's fine.
00:12:55This looks good.
00:12:57Oh!
00:12:58Was she climbing on you?
00:13:00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:13:02Do you like being around the dogs?
00:13:06No, I'm not used to dogs.
00:13:07Oh, really?
00:13:08Yeah.
00:13:09Oh.
00:13:10They run wild there?
00:13:11Is that the thing?
00:13:12It's not very common.
00:13:15Oh.
00:13:17Gregory says you'd like to take a lot of showers.
00:13:23Yeah.
00:13:25How many a day?
00:13:28Something like three.
00:13:31Really?
00:13:33Yeah.
00:13:34Are they long showers?
00:13:35I'm only saying that because everything went sky high here.
00:13:39You know.
00:13:41They're not long showers.
00:13:42Are they hot, hot showers?
00:13:44How is it called?
00:13:45Mild? Medium?
00:13:46Only I'm saying because I noticed with my electric bill, how it jumped.
00:13:51You know, I could see it going up again.
00:13:54So you want us to conserve it?
00:13:55Yeah, no.
00:13:56If she takes, like, not to, doesn't abuse and, you know, not take ten minute showers, you know.
00:14:03In my country, since it's always hot.
00:14:05In the morning, I need to freshen up because I'm starting that day.
00:14:08But also in the evening, I need to sleep fresh.
00:14:11I don't know how it works here in America.
00:14:13Is it because people have cars?
00:14:15That's why they don't need to take two showers a day.
00:14:17But this isn't me.
00:14:19I have to take two showers.
00:14:23Anything that you're expecting from us, right?
00:14:25I would just at least get some of it out of the way now and just talk about things.
00:14:29Showers, leaving the door open.
00:14:32Well, yeah, just as far as the hot water.
00:14:34You know, a bill comes in every month for the hot water.
00:14:37I thought it was free.
00:14:40Kind of like when you throw your laundry down the basement and all of a sudden it just comes back clean and folded, right?
00:14:44No, there's a hot water bill, there's electric bills.
00:14:47Wow.
00:14:48And you could just help Gregory keep his room tidy.
00:14:55I don't want anybody to feel uncomfortable in the house.
00:14:57I mean, I know you two want to be together and I wish you were able to afford your own place because it's always nice starting out.
00:15:04Yeah, I can't wait for that.
00:15:07In Uganda, I'm independent.
00:15:09I'm a director of a non-profit organization.
00:15:12I love Greg so much, but I'm not here to look after him.
00:15:18His room is, for now, at work, right?
00:15:23Yeah.
00:15:24For now?
00:15:25For now.
00:15:26Yeah.
00:15:27Mrs. Lucille does everything for Greg.
00:15:31But if I'm going to be his wife, I feel like Greg needs to grow up.
00:15:34I had to sacrifice a lot to come and be with my fiancee.
00:15:38So, I want him to man up and get out of his mother's house.
00:15:41Hello.
00:15:42Where do you have boobs?
00:15:43I see boobs everywhere.
00:15:44Like, boobs, boobs, boobs.
00:15:45I swear I didn't know you were, like, doing this a lot.
00:15:47If a Sylvia tells me that she's, like, bisexual, honestly, I think I'm catfished.
00:15:52I first met Douglas online.
00:15:53Happiness ensued.
00:15:54But now everything's a different playing field.
00:15:55Aliyah was born.
00:15:56I just need to see what we both need to have in order for this relationship to work.
00:15:58We have 90 days left.
00:15:59I have no idea how we can work.
00:16:00And he, like, if he's not doing that, I'm going to continue to work.
00:16:01I was born.
00:16:02Honestly, I think I'm catfished.
00:16:06I first met Douglas online.
00:16:08Happiness ensued.
00:16:10But now everything's a different playing field.
00:16:13Aaliyah was born.
00:16:15I just need to see what we both need to have
00:16:20in order for this relationship to work.
00:16:23We have 90 days to figure it all out.
00:16:25So get off the pot.
00:16:32Like, how could you do this to me
00:16:44when I've done so much for you?
00:16:47Like, how?
00:16:53To sit there waiting, patiently waiting
00:16:57at 104 degree temperature outside
00:17:00every minute felt like an hour
00:17:03until there was no patience to wait anymore.
00:17:12I understand how are you feeling.
00:17:14And...
00:17:16I don't know, I think I was, like, frozen inside.
00:17:19And I was just feeling lost.
00:17:22I don't know what was happening.
00:17:25Not having it.
00:17:28Everything just became like, uh,
00:17:31everything was falling apart.
00:17:36I'm here.
00:17:37I should be happy.
00:17:38I should be living in my fairy tale.
00:17:40I'm in a country.
00:17:43I don't have anyone here.
00:17:45I just dream about how this is different.
00:17:51So everything is very uncertain.
00:17:54.
00:18:01I'm sorry.
00:18:09I'm sorry.
00:18:10I'm sorry.
00:18:11You look beautiful.
00:18:16It was stunning.
00:18:19You look beautiful.
00:18:26My name is Ali.
00:18:27I'm 25 years old, and I live in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.
00:18:40I'm feeling amazing.
00:18:41When I was a little kid, growing up, I always used it to look to the other girls, asking
00:18:49myself, why I'm not like them?
00:18:52Because I always felt that I was a woman.
00:18:56So what I realize now is that I am trans woman.
00:19:01I waited all my life to be here at this moment.
00:19:07It's like a dream that I always had.
00:19:09When I was a teenager, I was expressing myself as a gay boy, but that was not enough to
00:19:16me, because that don't represent the person that I am inside.
00:19:20So I just keep, like, looking more feminine and adding, like, dress, high heels, hair,
00:19:26nails.
00:19:26And then to bring all this place together, I gave me a name, and it's Alia.
00:19:31You two are going to live here in Rio?
00:19:36Sean lives in Hollywood, so I'm moving to California to live with him.
00:19:42News.
00:19:43I got good news.
00:19:45It is the best news in the world to me.
00:19:51My name is Sean.
00:19:52I'm 62 years old, and I live in West Hollywood.
00:19:55This is my 1927 West Hollywood Hills home that was allegedly built by Charlie Chaplin.
00:20:03Because the best news in the world is you.
00:20:08This is my very first antique purchase that I used as my salon reception desk when I owned
00:20:20a hair salon.
00:20:22I started doing hair and makeup since 1996, so I've done everything.
00:20:26Movies and TV and major shows like Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, films like Men in Black,
00:20:35Scream.
00:20:35And I've done it for 35 years.
00:20:38This I call my, you know, Barbara Velia, Hollywood Velia room.
00:20:42I have all sorts of what Alia probably thinks is tchotchkes, but for me, they're like little
00:20:48pieces of art.
00:20:49In this cabinet, I don't even know if I can, oh, I can.
00:20:53This is my favorite Barbara Streisand dress.
00:20:56This dress was in a movie called On a Clear Day You Can See Forever.
00:21:00I love the auctions.
00:21:03My wallet probably doesn't love the auctions.
00:21:05My kids are probably thinking I'm crazy, but I think they're going to love the auctions
00:21:09when I drop dead.
00:21:10And they'll be like, oh, that sold for over a million dollars?
00:21:12Great.
00:21:13Thank God he was such a freak.
00:21:15I met my first wife in beauty school and she had like the best hair, which of course, for
00:21:22being a hairdresser, you better have good hair.
00:21:23And I knew we would have like kids and jump into that right away.
00:21:28Overall, that relationship was pretty good.
00:21:32I mean, we lasted 14 years.
00:21:35We raised three beautiful kids and then we went our separate ways and we're still friends.
00:21:42This is where all the action happens.
00:21:45And yet I have an old man bed because I decided this last year to get an adjustable bed so I could
00:21:51like watch TV sitting up and be lazy.
00:21:53So there's that.
00:21:55Since my divorce, I have been identifying as gay.
00:22:00And that's how I met Douglas.
00:22:05I first met Douglas online through a dating site in 2020 during the pandemic.
00:22:11I loved his curly hair and his brown smooth skin and his bubble butt and his amazing legs.
00:22:19And I mean, there wasn't much that I didn't like.
00:22:22After the pandemic was over, we would go traveling to places that a Brazilian traveled to without a special visa.
00:22:35During our trip to Spain, it was gay pride.
00:22:37So I thought it would be nice to ask him if he wanted to dress up and do anything, you know, gay and festive.
00:22:44He said, oh, I've never done that before.
00:22:46So I said, well, let's go wig shopping.
00:22:47Oh, la, la.
00:22:48They then bought an outfit and then all of a sudden happiness ensued.
00:22:54He got asked to go on a float, going down the streets of Spain with people hooting and hollering.
00:23:01And so Aaliyah was born.
00:23:05Aaliyah and I applied.
00:23:07Well, Douglas and I have applied for the K-1 visa.
00:23:11But now everything's a different playing field.
00:23:13There is no more Douglas.
00:23:18This is an art adventure book that I made for Aaliyah.
00:23:29Kind of feel like maybe it's a bit of therapy for me.
00:23:34It's, you know, great moments of times with me and Aaliyah because Aaliyah is a fun time.
00:23:42I mourned the loss of the first chapter and now it's this metamorphosis that's happened.
00:23:51So I want to focus my energy on what is and not what was.
00:23:58So I just need to see what we both need to have in order for this relationship to work.
00:24:07The reality of the whole thing is that I met somebody.
00:24:11I fell in love with somebody.
00:24:12I was ready to marry somebody.
00:24:13I had all my boxes checked and that person died.
00:24:18But now we have 90 days to figure it all out.
00:24:21So, get off the pot, as they say.
00:24:25I've lived at this house in Google Maps a lot.
00:24:47You've Google Maps it?
00:24:48Yeah.
00:24:48It's cute.
00:24:56It's cute.
00:24:57It has a hi sign on the door.
00:24:59Say hi.
00:25:00Wow.
00:25:00That's it real southern-like.
00:25:01We need something else.
00:25:02Like, get out.
00:25:04Please leave.
00:25:08I know you need your backpack, right?
00:25:10Yeah.
00:25:10I'll get your little rolling bag and your backpack.
00:25:13I already know that Hattiesburg is not going to be what Matty expects.
00:25:17He's kind of like a city boy.
00:25:20But I'm super excited about having him at my house.
00:25:23And I'm really hoping that Matty will feel at home here.
00:25:29It feels weird.
00:25:34Should I take all my shoes?
00:25:36If you want to.
00:25:37It's your house.
00:25:38You can do what you want.
00:25:39Oh, my gosh.
00:25:40I've never seen this part of the house again.
00:25:42You have.
00:25:44Oh.
00:25:45Yeah.
00:25:46Just probably a little bit.
00:25:46Why do you have boobs everywhere?
00:25:51I see boobs everywhere.
00:25:54Like, boobs, boobs, boobs, boobs.
00:25:57Like, too many.
00:25:59Like, I don't know.
00:26:00Why?
00:26:01Just from our paintings.
00:26:03Oh.
00:26:04So I told you I do, like, nude portraits.
00:26:07Want to go here?
00:26:08Yeah.
00:26:09Coming from a country that you might be able to get arrested if you have a naked girl picture,
00:26:17it's really hard to see that your house is full of boob pictures.
00:26:24This is our little small kitchen.
00:26:27There's a bathroom.
00:26:30It's not that bad, right?
00:26:31Yeah.
00:26:32It has rugs three feet.
00:26:33And then, this is our room that you've seen.
00:26:41And then this is the desk that you picked out.
00:26:44Oh, I love it.
00:26:45What do you think about that?
00:26:45Oh, my God.
00:26:50Oh, that's great.
00:26:54Oh, she's here.
00:26:56Yeah.
00:26:58Just let her come to you, okay?
00:27:00Just let her smell you.
00:27:00This is the first time I'm touching a cat, I swear.
00:27:05Yeah.
00:27:05Come on, Chichi.
00:27:07Don't roll over her.
00:27:08You promise it's clean?
00:27:09Yes.
00:27:11Seriously?
00:27:12She's good.
00:27:13Oh.
00:27:15I'm just gonna get closer.
00:27:17So she can see you.
00:27:20What do you think?
00:27:22Can I be honest?
00:27:24Yeah.
00:27:26I have to wash my hands.
00:27:27Cats in Iran live outside of the house.
00:27:33I'm sorry, but this is the very first time touching a cat.
00:27:36My mom has always told me that if you touch them, you'll get sick.
00:27:41And she has got sick when she was pregnant with me.
00:27:45And it was just because a cat was just coming to their house.
00:27:50It doesn't feel clean to me.
00:27:53Living with them is something else.
00:27:55Like, I don't think I can do it.
00:27:57I don't think I can touch them.
00:28:00And it's just really weird.
00:28:03You're gonna change?
00:28:05Oh, can you take your shirt off for a bit?
00:28:08Oh, is that me?
00:28:11Does that look like you?
00:28:12Who's up beside me?
00:28:13Go get it.
00:28:15Oh, my God.
00:28:21There's two.
00:28:22It's me.
00:28:23I didn't know you're, I swear I didn't know you were, like, doing this a lot.
00:28:28Like, I've seen, like, ten boobs since I got in the house.
00:28:32Oh, there's boobs right there, too, beside you.
00:28:36Where?
00:28:37Those?
00:28:37Yes.
00:28:38There are so many other things that she can paint, and I'm just trying hard to just, like, see the artistic thing in it, but I don't see anything artistic in it.
00:28:53Like, just, like, it just doesn't make sense to me.
00:28:57Honestly, I've been always wondering if Stevie is into women.
00:29:02Oh, gosh.
00:29:05Nice.
00:29:06Stevie has always told me that she doesn't like men, she doesn't like to paint them, she doesn't want to, like, be close to men.
00:29:16So it's been always a question, but now I think I'm questioning it more.
00:29:20If Stevie tells me that she's bisexual or something like that, honestly, I think I'm catfished.
00:29:28She's gonna lose my trust.
00:29:30Where's JJ?
00:29:32Hey, please.
00:29:33I love you.
00:29:34I love you more.
00:29:40She got to be here somewhere.
00:29:42I want to find them now.
00:29:44I want to see them.
00:29:46It's so hard already to find your person, let alone find the third person, so there's so much to lose.
00:30:07Oh, my gosh, it's almost time.
00:30:11We're getting so close.
00:30:12You ready?
00:30:20Yeah.
00:30:21All right, you're ready to do this?
00:30:22Yep.
00:30:23Okay.
00:30:24Just hear me, with you, in my mind, I've been waiting for a second.
00:30:38Welcome.
00:30:39Let's go find her.
00:30:40We're at the Day of the Death Festival to meet up with Ani.
00:30:44We haven't seen her for six weeks now, and that's just too long.
00:30:48We can't wait to see her.
00:30:49Look, look so pretty.
00:30:51That's so cool.
00:30:52It's very fun, the way that we are meeting today, you know?
00:30:55It's mysterious.
00:30:56With all the people dressed up, it seems like somehow they're dressed up for us.
00:30:59They're here to make this chase fun.
00:31:02Yeah, yeah.
00:31:02She's going to find us, and we're going to find her first.
00:31:07Hopefully, this is our last trip.
00:31:10We want her to come to America.
00:31:13We want to start the K-1 visa.
00:31:15Yeah, I'd say, you know, enjoy this night.
00:31:18It's special.
00:31:19Let's find her first.
00:31:20Let's accomplish that mission.
00:31:22You've got to be here somewhere.
00:31:30Yo, por ti,
00:31:36voy más allá de nuestras vidas,
00:31:38porque todo lo que me pidas, por ti.
00:31:44Los invité para que conozcan mi cultura,
00:31:47para que vean un poquito de México.
00:31:49I want to find them now.
00:31:53I want to see them.
00:31:59I feel like she's going to pop out anywhere.
00:32:18Wait, that's not her.
00:32:19But I'm not having it.
00:32:25Oh, yes, that is her.
00:32:27She looks amazing.
00:32:28Ah, look at her, look at her, look at her, look at her.
00:32:34I'm going to set this hot on fire.
00:32:38I'm going to let you live in fire.
00:32:41Oh, it looks so beautiful.
00:32:45It's a little funny.
00:32:46I'm not.
00:32:47Let me show you.
00:32:50Aw.
00:32:51It's so cool.
00:32:54Let me take off these masks.
00:32:56Let me see you.
00:32:57There you go.
00:32:58Aw, look at this beautiful mask lady.
00:33:01I know, I know.
00:33:02My look is Mexican.
00:33:05They look so beautiful.
00:33:08I am Annie.
00:33:10He's my boyfriend.
00:33:11And she's my girlfriend, too.
00:33:14Three hearts.
00:33:15Oh, yes!
00:33:18I miss her love all the time.
00:33:21She always says, I miss you.
00:33:23I miss you.
00:33:25I miss you.
00:33:26I miss you.
00:33:27I miss you.
00:33:28I miss your love.
00:33:30We don't really get to see each other that much
00:33:34because of our families and jobs.
00:33:36But when we hug and kiss, if filming together again,
00:33:38like, it never stopped.
00:33:40Right, it always seems to pick right back up
00:33:42where we left it off.
00:33:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:33:45We don't have this day of the dead.
00:33:46Yeah, we have Halloween, but it's not the same.
00:33:47Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:33:48Can we get a picture, though?
00:33:49Gracias.
00:33:52Gracias.
00:33:53We look so pretty.
00:33:55I need to get me one of those costumes.
00:33:57Yeah, what are you guys doing?
00:33:58We are here to spend some time with our girlfriend.
00:34:04Yes.
00:34:05Yes.
00:34:06Oh, .
00:34:07Oh, .
00:34:08Okay.
00:34:09All the time.
00:34:10People look at us as an anthropo.
00:34:11But you know what?
00:34:12We love it.
00:34:13We enjoy it.
00:34:14We, like, look them back.
00:34:15She like it.
00:34:16The people look at us.
00:34:17You know how you can have another skeleton.
00:34:18Oh, yeah.
00:34:19Not this skeleton.
00:34:20Oh, yeah.
00:34:21That's a good one.
00:34:22People can't just envision anything
00:34:24remaining.
00:34:25You know how you can have another skeleton?
00:34:26I know how you can have another skeleton.
00:34:27Oh, yeah.
00:34:28I have another skeleton.
00:34:29A skeleton.
00:34:30I know how you can have another skeleton.
00:34:32We, like, look them back.
00:34:33She like it.
00:34:34The people look at us.
00:34:37You know you can have another skeleton.
00:34:40Oh, yeah.
00:34:41That's not that.
00:34:43Not this skeleton.
00:34:46People can't just envision anything romantic with number
00:34:50three.
00:34:50It's very sexualized, but we're super excited about one day
00:34:54creating a big blended family with Ani.
00:34:57How is Sara and Laila?
00:35:00I cried today.
00:35:02They were sad to leave.
00:35:03I cried and cried and cried.
00:35:05I just felt so terrible.
00:35:09Being in Athrapo is so rewarding, but it's three times
00:35:14more complicated than a normal relationship.
00:35:17We don't like the long distance.
00:35:19It's hard on us and Ani, and it's hard on our children.
00:35:23So let's go back to the hotel.
00:35:26Yes.
00:35:28Let's go.
00:35:30You're constantly choosing between your kids and the person
00:35:33that you love, and you just want to stop choosing.
00:35:38Yeah, and it's not just a decision for Ani.
00:35:40You know, she's got family that's going to be integrating with us,
00:35:44so she's making a decision for multiple people.
00:35:46It's a big decision.
00:35:48Yeah.
00:35:49I am excited because I want to show you my culture, my war, my family, all of it about me.
00:36:03We can already envision you in our life, and we just want to start living it.
00:36:06Hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:36:08Spiffy, spiffy.
00:36:10Oh.
00:36:11Oh.
00:36:12Oh.
00:36:13Oh.
00:36:14Looks so good.
00:36:15Aw, same thing.
00:36:16Oh, my God.
00:36:17Oh.
00:36:18Oh.
00:36:19Oh, OK.
00:36:20I got you something.
00:36:28Oh.
00:36:29Oh.
00:36:30Oh.
00:36:31Oh.
00:36:32Oh.
00:36:33Yummy.
00:36:34You know, I love red.
00:36:35It's my favorite color.
00:36:36Here you go.
00:36:37You're like this.
00:36:39Mm-hmm.
00:36:40Mm-hmm.
00:36:41OK.
00:36:42She's the first woman we ever had a serious relationship with,
00:36:47and she's becoming family.
00:36:50After fitting so well together so quickly,
00:36:53I just think that that would be hard to replace.
00:36:56It's so hard already to find your person,
00:36:59let alone find the third person.
00:37:02So there's so much to lose.
00:37:05Oh, are you going to go in the middle?
00:37:07I don't know.
00:37:07It's hard decision.
00:37:08I don't know what to do.
00:37:14Oh, it feels good to be back.
00:37:15Oh, my gosh, it's warm.
00:37:17Yes.
00:37:19For me, I need one more baby.
00:37:23Mark told me he needed authorization to Jordan.
00:37:27Jordan and Mark have been close.
00:37:29He has to keep her happy.
00:37:32It's my decision, not Jordan.
00:37:37It's absurd.
00:37:37I want to go down all these flames.
00:37:40I want to go down with your baby.
00:37:42I walk through the fire with nothing, no pain.
00:37:44I want to go, I want to go, I want to go down with your baby.
00:37:48I walk through the fire with nothing, no pain.
00:37:51I want to go, I want to go, I want to go down with your baby.
00:37:55Hey, baby, you awake?
00:37:57I made your cappuccino?
00:37:59I'm so pissed at Mark for my conversation for the last night.
00:38:06I'm so pissed at Mark for my conversation for the last night.
00:38:21Come on, try the cappuccino.
00:38:23You know?
00:38:24It's good.
00:38:26Taste it.
00:38:30Sorry.
00:38:31OK.
00:38:32No.
00:38:33I lose my country.
00:38:34I come here.
00:38:35Everybody in your family hate me.
00:38:38Not my whole family hates you.
00:38:40And Jordan doesn't hate you, either.
00:38:42I think if we get time to spend with her, then everything will be fine.
00:38:47I promise.
00:38:48This is for you, not for me.
00:38:51I'm just trying to make things better.
00:38:53Maybe today I invite some more people over from the neighborhood.
00:38:57They want to meet you.
00:38:58You just give it a chance.
00:39:01OK, I give chance.
00:39:03I try.
00:39:04You try?
00:39:05Yeah.
00:39:06Thank you, baby.
00:39:07The cappuccino is good?
00:39:08Mm-mm.
00:39:09It's not good.
00:39:10It's not like Paris.
00:39:11No.
00:39:14OK, you make next time.
00:39:15Yeah.
00:39:38Hey, baby.
00:39:41Hey, brother.
00:39:42Hey, guys.
00:39:43Hey, hey.
00:39:44Hey.
00:39:45Look at this little girl.
00:39:46Aw.
00:39:47You hadn't seen a little one running around like this here, have you?
00:39:50No.
00:39:51I saw her also.
00:39:52I can't believe how big she is.
00:39:53Yeah, well.
00:39:54Oh, thank you.
00:39:55Look.
00:39:56Look at the flags.
00:39:57I like it.
00:39:58Welcome to America.
00:39:59With the Spanish accent.
00:40:00This is Nick.
00:40:01How are you doing?
00:40:02I'm good.
00:40:03Ah, thank you so much.
00:40:04Good to see you, brother.
00:40:05Good to see you, brother.
00:40:06Good to see you, brother.
00:40:07Good to see you, brother.
00:40:08Good to see you, brother.
00:40:09Good to see you, brother.
00:40:10Good to see you, brother.
00:40:11How you been?
00:40:12It's been a while.
00:40:13It's been a while, my friends.
00:40:14Thank you, sir.
00:40:15Nice to see you.
00:40:16Oh, you got a martini?
00:40:17I'm fine.
00:40:28Maria, is it Bob?
00:40:30Hello.
00:40:31Another pilot.
00:40:34I have a idea who Maria plays here.
00:40:38Maybe grandkids.
00:40:44You are in the woods.
00:40:45I always said when I married Bob.
00:40:47Yeah.
00:40:48He's a pilot, and he loved it here.
00:40:49And he was in heaven, and I was in the woods.
00:41:04Oh, yes.
00:41:05Wait.
00:41:06I have a stroller for my dogs.
00:41:07I'll have to bring it over.
00:41:08You can put her in the stroller and put my dogs in the stroller.
00:41:10Together.
00:41:11And we'll walk together.
00:41:12And you'll like it.
00:41:13You'll love it.
00:41:15You get other interests.
00:41:16You're going to have a garden.
00:41:17You have a little girl.
00:41:18Yeah.
00:41:19You need a puppy.
00:41:20I mean, you'll be very busy.
00:41:22Yeah.
00:41:23And there are other ladies in the neighborhood that like to cook.
00:41:26They like to crochet and knit.
00:41:27Oh, no, no, no, no.
00:41:28And I like a martini.
00:41:30Ah, this I like.
00:41:31This I like.
00:41:32This I like.
00:41:52I never believed it.
00:41:53Two years, you kept saying, she's coming.
00:41:55She's coming.
00:41:56She's coming.
00:41:57She's real.
00:41:58She's here.
00:41:59She is real.
00:42:00I mean, I thought you were just.
00:42:01You literally didn't believe it.
00:42:02No, I did not.
00:42:03Come on.
00:42:04So, you're here, and you're with a two-year-old.
00:42:05Yeah.
00:42:06And Mark is going to travel.
00:42:07Yeah.
00:42:08And you're going to have to make a life here.
00:42:10Jordan and Mark have been a unit.
00:42:24They've been close.
00:42:25He has to keep her happy.
00:42:33The thing is, in dealing with Mark, who's a people pleaser.
00:42:37Yeah.
00:42:38He wants everybody happy.
00:42:39And in the world, somebody wins and somebody loses.
00:42:42Yeah.
00:42:43If he makes you happy, his daughter loses.
00:42:46If he says, we're having no more babies, let's make this work, you lose.
00:43:03Mark wants everybody to win, and only one person wins.
00:43:08Maybe I made a mistake to come in here to live with Mark in America.
00:43:13She said, bye.
00:43:14When I started the process of the visa, everything was like, Douglas, I'm Sean.
00:43:18I was wondering if I should go as a boy to the embassy.
00:43:19I can't imagine how painful it can be to have to pretend for the sake of others to be another person.
00:43:23Yeah.
00:43:24Yeah.
00:43:25Yeah.
00:43:26Everybody's a turn when you're walking.
00:43:27Come on.
00:43:28Come on, big dog.
00:43:29Come on, big dog.
00:43:30Electrifying eyes burn.
00:43:31Making hearts go burn.
00:43:32Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
00:43:33Hmm.
00:43:34Yeah.
00:43:35Yeah.
00:43:36You want that?
00:43:37It can be to have to pretend, for the sake of others,
00:43:41to be another person.
00:43:56Come on, big dog.
00:44:01Ooh, yeah, you want that?
00:44:07You ready to build your crate, huh? You gonna help me?
00:44:13All right, let's get it.
00:44:16Even though Aaliyah hasn't been technically approved for her visa yet,
00:44:20I'm setting up the crate today for our newest family member.
00:44:27This is Maxwell Smart.
00:44:30Maxwell for short.
00:44:32I'm dog-obsessed, and Aaliyah's never had any pets other than a turtle,
00:44:38which she would like me to buy her a turtle, which I'm fine about,
00:44:41but they're not so much fun to play with.
00:44:44I guess I should have been crate training him all along,
00:44:46but I've been doing the thing that I swore I'd never do,
00:44:48which is let the dog sleep in the bed.
00:44:50And he's been snuggling up to me every night on the DL,
00:44:54and I know when Aaliyah gets here, that's gonna be a situation.
00:44:59Hey.
00:45:00Papi, Papi.
00:45:01Well, Aaliyah's visa interview for the K-1 is tomorrow.
00:45:05I know we're both pretty nervous about it.
00:45:08I'm also a little worried that she shows up,
00:45:10and they look at a form, and it says Douglas and mail,
00:45:14and that they might have some discrimination going on there,
00:45:18and deny her just because they can.
00:45:22We applied for regular tourist visas.
00:45:24We got denied.
00:45:26We applied for school visas and got denied.
00:45:31And if she's not approved for this, we've tapped out.
00:45:34We've done all the tries to try to be together,
00:45:37and I don't know where that leaves us.
00:45:39Get in there.
00:45:41Good job.
00:45:43Good job.
00:45:48Good job.
00:45:49Good job.
00:45:50Good job.
00:45:51Good job.
00:45:52Good job.
00:45:53I'm on the way.
00:45:55Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:45:56Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:45:57Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:45:59Good.
00:46:00How are you?
00:46:01Good.
00:46:02Good job.
00:46:03It's chilling.
00:46:05It's crazy hot today.
00:46:07I'm sweating a lot.
00:46:08Oh, yeah, yeah.
00:46:12When I'm on the day.
00:46:13Yeah.
00:46:14Yeah.
00:46:15Yeah.
00:46:16Yeah.
00:46:17Yeah.
00:46:18I used to be using a bikini.
00:46:21It's kind of hot, yeah, but there's a cool breeze going around.
00:46:26I think the breeze here is amazing.
00:46:29I like the view. It's wonderful.
00:46:32So, will you miss it?
00:46:36Here, for sure.
00:46:39Do you want to grab something to eat?
00:46:41Let's eat.
00:46:43Oh, my God, my visa interview is tomorrow.
00:46:46I'm feeling happy, I'm feeling anxious.
00:46:49I'm worried, maybe.
00:46:51Obrigado.
00:46:52When I started the process of the visa,
00:46:55everything that I sent was like, Douglas, I'm Sean.
00:47:01And now that I'm Elia,
00:47:04I feel very insecure in how people react to that.
00:47:09But also, I was wondering if I should go as a boy.
00:47:15And not go as myself.
00:47:20I took many years to get the place that I am now.
00:47:26Living and expressing myself the way that I express.
00:47:30So, I just don't know what to do.
00:47:34I can't imagine how painful it can be to have to pretend, for the sake of others, to be another person.
00:47:43Aaliyah is my best friend.
00:47:47I've known her for my whole life.
00:47:49I believe that being a trans woman in Brazil has been really tough on her.
00:47:53A lot of disgusting looks, aggressive catcalling.
00:47:56It saddens me that Aaliyah might have to present herself as a boy tomorrow.
00:48:00But I think that she might have to play safe.
00:48:04We don't really want the outcome where she gets denied.
00:48:09I was being rejected all my life.
00:48:12So, I have a little bit of this feeling now.
00:48:16Yes.
00:48:17People reject me.
00:48:18And the way that people you look to me, that you do to me.
00:48:23Oh, don't cry.
00:48:28When I transitioned to Aaliyah, I promised myself that I'd never go back to the past.
00:48:45But I also don't want to hurt my chance with Shawn to be forever together.
00:48:51So, I really don't know what to do.
00:48:55I'm always going to be there for you.
00:49:08You know I declined that state job.
00:49:10You did?
00:49:12It's insane.
00:49:15I don't see the reason you had to decline that job.
00:49:18It just wasn't what I wanted to do.
00:49:21I don't know how we are going to live.
00:49:23Okay.
00:49:24All right.
00:49:25You ready?
00:49:26Go to your first American supermarket?
00:49:39Four markets, yeah.
00:49:40I'm feeling like a million.
00:49:41A million.
00:49:42A million.
00:49:43I'm feeling like a million.
00:49:44I'm feeling like a million.
00:49:47I'm feeling like a million.
00:49:49All right.
00:49:50You have flowers?
00:49:51You want some flowers?
00:49:53Greg is taking me to the supermarket in America for the first time.
00:49:59I'm excited because I've only seen the supermarket in the movies.
00:50:04So, do you want plums or anything?
00:50:06You ever have a plum before?
00:50:07I don't want a plums.
00:50:08A plum is a plum.
00:50:09This is plum, baby.
00:50:10Supermarkets here are very big.
00:50:11You enter in a supermarket and you think you're in a mall.
00:50:16You're in a mall.
00:50:17I love that way even their labor.
00:50:20Like, if you're looking for meat to read up and there is meat section, like vegetables,
00:50:25like produce, they look very beautiful and organized.
00:50:28But the more beautiful they look, the more expensive stuff.
00:50:31I like this.
00:50:32I like okra.
00:50:33I drink okra.
00:50:34You want some okra, baby?
00:50:35Yeah, I drink okra water.
00:50:36Yeah, so this okra, just so you know, right?
00:50:38Look, it's four dollars.
00:50:39Almost four dollars.
00:50:40Right?
00:50:41This okra will be high-ward.
00:50:42One K.
00:50:43One K, right?
00:50:44That's what, like, how much is that?
00:50:46Cents.
00:50:47Oh, America is quite expensive.
00:50:49Crazy, baby.
00:50:50Do you have a budget for now?
00:50:52Um, do I have a budget right now, really?
00:50:55If I just see something I like, I just buy it?
00:50:57Yes, boy.
00:50:58Prices of stuff here in America, it's insane.
00:51:05I don't know how we are going to live, because Greg is a person who just want to spend.
00:51:10He doesn't think about tomorrow.
00:51:12I want me and Greg to get our own house soon, so we need to plan more.
00:51:19So since we are talking about, like, cutting the budget, so I'm in the future now, so it's a little bus, not only you.
00:51:27So, the plan for the future, you know I declined that state job.
00:51:33You did?
00:51:34Yeah.
00:51:38So, now that Joan's arrived and she's here and we have some time, I need to explain to her what's going on with work.
00:51:43Did you hear about that New York State job?
00:51:46Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:51:47I, uh, I didn't tell you, I thought I did.
00:51:50So, they wanted to give me the job and I decided not to take it.
00:51:55You turned down a New York State Department job?
00:51:58Civil service, yes.
00:52:00Yes, I did.
00:52:01Is it a good idea for you to turn down a staple job with your, uh, fiance coming?
00:52:06I mean, in reality, probably not.
00:52:09Wow.
00:52:14I'm sorry.
00:52:15I love you.
00:52:17Okay, I appreciate that.
00:52:19But, I don't see the reason you had to decline that job.
00:52:22We need the money.
00:52:24I just, I don't know, were you coming and everything?
00:52:27I just wanted to be able to spend time with you.
00:52:29You know?
00:52:30Um, I think there's going to be more opportunities in the future.
00:52:32You know?
00:52:33And it's not necessarily something I was really passionate about.
00:52:35I think I would have been kind of like not miserable going to work.
00:52:37I just wouldn't have enjoyed it at all.
00:52:39It just wasn't what I wanted to do.
00:52:42You know?
00:52:47Okay, crying.
00:52:48Yeah.
00:52:51Babe, I'm happy being with you.
00:52:54You know that?
00:52:55Mm-hmm.
00:52:56But I also want to be, like, secure.
00:52:57Like, you know?
00:52:58Mm-hmm.
00:52:59I want to walk up one day.
00:53:00I'm on the streets.
00:53:01I don't have food.
00:53:02I don't have where to sleep, so.
00:53:03Babe, that will never happen.
00:53:04I'm telling you right now.
00:53:05I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that there's always food on the table.
00:53:09Okay.
00:53:10So I'm secured.
00:53:11You know?
00:53:12So you're secured, yeah.
00:53:13It's not like I talk about it to make you feel bad.
00:53:18I know.
00:53:19I know where you're coming from.
00:53:20I know it's not...
00:53:21I know it's not malicious, you know?
00:53:24I know, baby.
00:53:25I know.
00:53:26Her and chef.
00:53:27Okay.
00:53:30Joan is reacting how to have expected her.
00:53:34She realizes, like, dude, like, what are you doing?
00:53:36Like, you know, we need income.
00:53:37You can't rely on me for these things.
00:53:39The pressure is tremendous.
00:53:41It's like a balloon just keeps stretching, stretching, stretching, stretching, and about to pop.
00:53:47It's a little overwhelming, and trying to keep it all together, it's...
00:53:51It's pretty hard.
00:53:53The price is $70.
00:53:55Oh, God.
00:53:56This is expensive.
00:53:57Do you know how much we'd shop in Uganda?
00:53:59Yeah.
00:54:00God.
00:54:01Tell me about it.
00:54:02Thank you, Willie.
00:54:03Thank you so much.
00:54:04I'm still a little worried about, uh, Jordan and you.
00:54:12It's better if you just talk to her and you get to know her.
00:54:16Please, s'il te plaît.
00:54:18We don't want drama at the wedding.
00:54:19It's possible she don't come in.
00:54:20Try.
00:54:21Try.
00:54:22Ooh, ooh, ooh.
00:54:23Ah, ooh.
00:54:24It's possible she don't come in.
00:54:25Fly.
00:54:26Try.
00:54:27Ooh, ooh, ooh.
00:54:28Ah, ooh.
00:54:29Woo!

00:54:35Ah!
00:54:36Ah!
00:54:37Ah!
00:54:38Ah!
00:54:39Ah!
00:54:40Ah!
00:54:41Ah!
00:54:42Ah!
00:54:43Ah!
00:54:44Ah!
00:54:45Ah!
00:54:46Ah!
00:54:47Ah!
00:54:48You know I like the tiger.
00:54:49Ah, yeah.
00:54:50I know.
00:54:55Finally.
00:54:56I know.
00:54:57Come here.
00:54:58You and me.
00:54:59Wow.
00:55:00Sit down.
00:55:01I love you, too.
00:55:02Mmm.

01:03:25all together it kind of scared me um oh my god i don't feel okay juju i felt like she was licking me and i'm not ready for that i'm not gonna be ready for licks like for at least months
01:03:32i don't feel okay juju i feel like she was licking me and i'm not ready for that i'm not gonna be ready for licks like for at least months
01:03:39just don't do that i think i'm fine
01:03:46maddie hasn't seen hattiesburg in daylight yet so we're gonna swing by so i can show him the downtown area on the way to meet my dad for dinner later
01:03:54baby do you have hairspray
01:04:09yup you need it
01:04:10yeah
01:04:11i know that my dad loves all people but i do think that my dad as well as my family and my friends have a lot of misconceptions about the people of iran based solely off of what they've seen in the news
01:04:23but i am really hopeful that dad can make maddie feel like part of the family because i know right now maddie is pretty homesick
01:04:30oh my gosh your beignets are still in the corner
01:04:33can i still eat them
01:04:35no
01:04:36so you can stay in this line like we don't have
01:04:47so this is the turn line
01:04:48we don't have the meal
01:04:49so they can keep going
01:04:50sometimes
01:04:51oh that's amazing
01:04:52we don't have that meal
01:04:54like there are so many different rules
01:04:56you don't have this line
01:04:57you don't have stop signs
01:04:58oh really
01:04:59yeah
01:05:00yay
01:05:05yay
01:05:06ready
01:05:11yeah
01:05:12so this is downtown hasburg
01:05:16and on the weekends it's like super lively and they have like little farmers markets and stuff so you can like walk through and like see everything
01:05:26but i've been excited to show it to you most of all these buildings are super old but like people have restored them and like are starting to open like cool little shops and stuff in them
01:05:39no
01:05:40i like it like it like it's it's it just gives me a vibe
01:05:44snow
01:05:45yeah it just gives me a vibe that these are like decorations for like a movie
01:05:49no
01:05:50i swear like
01:05:51no
01:05:52these are all fake
01:05:53and there's no one in them
01:05:56so there's something i need to tell you like before tonight that i haven't told you yet
01:06:00all right
01:06:01um
01:06:02you know i told you that i was gonna tell dad like about you coming here and our engagement and stuff like that before you came
01:06:09but something that i didn't tell you is that um
01:06:13something i didn't tell you is that i hadn't told dad anything about you yet before you got here
01:06:21like nothing
01:06:23mm-mm
01:06:24like who i am
01:06:25yeah no i didn't
01:06:27i didn't
01:06:30before i had that conversation i hadn't told him anything like he didn't even know i was in a relationship
01:06:36to be fair like i thought i had more time to tell him before he came
01:06:42like you had a year
01:06:44yeah
01:06:46this doesn't make sense to me
01:06:51i've thought about it a lot and i know that i probably should have told him sooner
01:06:55well i know i should have told him sooner but the thing is is dad's just been going through a whole lot
01:07:02and i just didn't know if he would be accepting of you and i was afraid of that
01:07:07if you're if you're 100 about me you would have told him
01:07:10no because what if i what if i told him and he said absolutely not you're not doing this and how would we even got through the process of getting you here
01:07:22not only did she lie to me she also lied to her dad
01:07:27i'm really uneasy about starting my life in america on the foundation of lies
01:07:32you know that you have put me in a really difficult situation right
01:07:36like i was super excited to meet your dad
01:07:39but you know that i'm super nervous now
01:07:41i'm sorry
01:07:42my biggest fear coming here was being accepted by everyone
01:07:47when people only hear evil things about your country what would they
01:07:53i'm super anxious because i know your dad
01:07:55he's following the news all the time
01:07:57he knows a lot
01:07:58like i don't know it feels like i have only one meeting
01:08:02to just make him feel good about me
01:08:06you just made it like that
01:08:13i don't think it will be like that though
01:08:15but to me it is like it's really difficult for me
01:08:19i'm really worried that stevie's family do not accept me
01:08:25and i think now they have a new reason to doubt me
01:08:31i really don't know how she could do this
01:08:35so
01:08:58so
01:09:02today is my visa interview since all my documents are in my own name I thought
01:09:09about maybe going to my interview as a boy because if they don't like trans
01:09:17people they can't deny my visa I know that going as myself in dangerous my
01:09:26chance to be approved but the most important in life for me is to be authentic
01:09:33hi mozinho hello are you up barely but I know today's the big day so no sleepy yeah did you get
01:09:53much sleep last night no I don't think so I think maybe two hours only it's very
01:10:00difficult to sleep we've only waited two years yeah so how do you think I'm looking
01:10:08I like the straight hair very nice looking like a boss
01:10:15are you at all nervous about that part of things going into the consulate and stuff are you
01:10:20feeling they might treat you odd or
01:10:24I feel like afraid of that but hopefully that will be everything okay and respectful
01:10:32yeah I think I look like serious but at the same time it's pink that's my favorite color and I look
01:10:51like a serious boss I think once you put it on it'll probably be the most clothing I've ever seen you wear
01:10:57yeah for sure call me when everything's over so I know what's happening okay love you I love you
01:11:06I did not encourage Aaliyah to not be anything but Aaliyah at the interview but when Aaliyah shows up
01:11:18at the interview and they're expecting a Douglas if the interviewer is transphobic that could be the end
01:11:24of our journey right then and there
01:11:26being a trans woman is not easy anywhere principally here in Brazil
01:11:48I need to have courage today I'm being myself I cannot tell the story of my love with Sean hiding
01:12:00that because it's our relationship our relationship it's the process it's me changing and it's what we
01:12:07are living so everything here it's like the true I could be denied for my visa and that will be very
01:12:22painful for me because it's like my future it's my relationship and it's also me and Sean we are
01:12:31waiting for that for so long so yeah if you just try it if I was a nice day
01:12:39what I really struggle with is
01:13:09what I'm dealing with is you still haven't answered my question what happened on the cruise
01:13:13Megan just every time she just comes and bring everything's up did you sleep with that girl
01:13:19I just think that's my private
01:13:21chasing down the feeling of a whiskey night
01:13:31so baby how does this look it is this good enough like I don't know if white is the color for the night so let me see what else you have okay
01:13:44tonight I am taking one to a bar and grill to meet with my friends and we're going to all have a few drinks and then I'm sure they're gonna grill one just a little bit
01:13:51how this
01:13:53that shirt is not the one okay not this is a no right that one's a no my friends are
01:14:01to a bar and grill to meet with my friends
01:14:04and we're going to all have a few drinks.
01:14:07And then I'm sure they're gonna grill Juan
01:14:09just a little bit.
01:14:11How this?
01:14:13That shirt's not the one.
01:14:15Okay.
01:14:16Not.
01:14:16This is a no.
01:14:17Tonight.
01:14:18That one's a no.
01:14:20My friends are questionative, especially Megan.
01:14:23Megan's pretty feisty and so it's important for them
01:14:26to feel like his intentions are good.
01:14:30I don't know.
01:14:31It's like a dive bar, but not really.
01:14:34Yeah.
01:14:35And what is exactly a dive bar?
01:14:38Kind of like a hole in the wall bar.
01:14:40And what's a hole in the wall?
01:14:42We worked on your English expression.
01:14:44You didn't put that on the list, man.
01:14:47I should have added that one.
01:14:49But your outfit looks good.
01:14:52Perfect.
01:14:53And then, you know, I don't even know who am I meeting, like.
01:14:57My friend Amanda that I work with and her husband Ryan.
01:15:00And then, my friend Shaylee's coming.
01:15:03And Megan and Herb are coming.
01:15:10When Jessica, the boys, and Megan came to Columbia,
01:15:13Megan put me on the spot, accusing me that I was lying
01:15:18about the cheating.
01:15:18Did you not make any mistakes this last cruise?
01:15:24No, I didn't make any mistake.
01:15:27I mean, I work hard.
01:15:29That's all I do there.
01:15:31I just hope that you can never do that again.
01:15:35Oh, do what?
01:15:36Do what?
01:15:37I didn't do anything.
01:15:40Since then, we haven't had the same relationship
01:15:42in between us.
01:15:45I just think Megan is, like, really negative towards me.
01:15:50And I don't want to feel that in front of all the people
01:15:53I haven't met yet.
01:15:54And I think that will be kind of embarrassing.
01:15:58You're both very important to me.
01:16:00And you're both in my life forever.
01:16:04So.
01:16:05I think you understand what I'm saying.
01:16:06Well, I'm glad I found the right outfit.
01:16:19Me too.
01:16:20I'm happy with the choice, and ready for a good night.
01:16:23Yeah, I hope so.
01:16:32All right, we're here.
01:16:36I'm happy with the work.
01:16:39Hi, guys.
01:16:40Hi.
01:16:41Hi.
01:16:41They're here.
01:16:42Hi.
01:16:43How are you?
01:16:44What's up?
01:16:44How are you?
01:16:46I want to be here.
01:16:47Hi.
01:16:48Hi.
01:16:48Hi.
01:16:49Good.
01:16:49How are you?
01:16:50Good.
01:16:50How's this going?
01:16:51Nice to meet you.
01:16:52He looks like a baby.
01:16:53I guess.
01:16:54Nice to meet you.
01:16:55How you doing?
01:16:55Nice to meet you.
01:16:56Nice to meet you.
01:16:57Nice to meet you.
01:16:57Nice to meet you.
01:16:58Nice to meet you.
01:16:58Nice to meet you.
01:16:59Yeah, you too.
01:17:00Hey, we get so long.
01:17:00Que pasa way.
01:17:01Que pasa, hermana.
01:17:03Finally, some Spanish around here, you know?
01:17:06That's as much as he knows, Juan.
01:17:08That's all he knows.
01:17:09That's all he knows.
01:17:11It is important to me that Jessica's friends like me good enough, since there's not much
01:17:16to do and not much people to hang around with, but I have a feeling like Megan told
01:17:22them something about me that was not good, and they are just trying to be polite right
01:17:27now.
01:17:28Get on in here.
01:17:29Cheers!
01:17:30Cheers!
01:17:31Cheers!
01:17:32Cheers!
01:17:33Cheers to Juan making it to America.
01:17:34It's only taken three years.
01:17:35Yeah, only three and a half years.
01:17:37It's fine.
01:17:38Here is the Rocky Mountain oysters.
01:17:42What is that?
01:17:43Cow's balls.
01:17:44So good.
01:17:45You know we eat the nuts, right?
01:17:47Have you ever had Rocky Mountain oysters?
01:17:48You cut the nuts.
01:17:49We cut them.
01:17:50Rocky Mountain oysters.
01:17:51We cut them.
01:17:52Rocky Mountain oysters.
01:17:53They're so good.
01:17:54I think those are the balls of the bowl.
01:18:00I guess that's cultural, but to me it sounds crazy.
01:18:03Here's the nuts.
01:18:05I feel a little pressured, because I mean, it's their food, it's their culture.
01:18:10I'm not trying, it could be disrespectful for them.
01:18:13Okay.
01:18:14I'll share one.
01:18:15Okay, I'll take a little bite.
01:18:17Dip it, dip it.
01:18:18Cheers Juan.
01:18:20Cheers Juan.
01:18:27So good.
01:18:28I mean it's fine.
01:18:29It tastes like chicken nuggets.
01:18:31Yeah.
01:18:32That's what I'm saying.
01:18:33Everybody was just happy that I felt like I was holding the World Cup.
01:18:37Like everybody just was like, yeah, go, that's one.
01:18:41I was like, yeah, thanks, and the rest of it, you know.
01:18:47Sit.
01:18:49How was your first night at home?
01:18:50It was great.
01:18:51It was great.
01:18:52It was great.
01:18:53I loved the bed.
01:18:54You loved the bed?
01:18:55Good.
01:18:56Did you like the heart roses?
01:18:57Yeah, they were cute.
01:18:58Um, so you know probably what's coming.
01:18:59I mean, but it's because you haven't answered my questions yet.
01:19:05When Juan was on his last cruise, he had allegedly cheated with a woman, and he continues to deny
01:19:18those allegations.
01:19:20I want honesty from Juan.
01:19:21I want honesty from Juan.
01:19:22I want him to tell me what actually happened because girls have intuition, and I can feel
01:19:25that Juan has cheated on Jess.
01:19:27I guess that's...
01:19:28I guess that's...
01:19:29Jess is my best friend, and I have been here through her...
01:19:30I get that.
01:19:31...through Thick and Thin while you were in Columbia.
01:19:32I get that.
01:19:33I get that.
01:19:34I get that, yeah.
01:19:35And for you to be off potentially messing around just literally shatters my heart.
01:19:38You know?
01:19:39I just think that's my pride.
01:19:40That's my pride.
01:19:41But you don't have to be.
01:19:42I have to go and ask you, if you want to go and go and you think that's the thing.
01:19:45I get that.
01:19:46I know.
01:19:47I want honesty from Juan.
01:19:49I want him to tell me what actually happened because girls have intuition, and I can feel
01:19:56that Juan has cheated on Jess.
01:19:59You know, I just think that's my pride in that
01:20:05Megan just every time she just comes and bring everything's up
01:20:09I think that's not healthy for me and Jessica because we talk things over
01:20:14long time ago as an adult
01:20:16Jessica made her choice
01:20:20I see how happy Jess is with you. I see how
01:20:24Much she loves you. I want you to show me how much you love her
01:20:30Well being here and putting my job and just giving up on everything I think that's again good enough
01:20:38Hi, how are you? How's it going?
01:20:41It's going great
01:20:43Those are great
01:20:48What I'm really struggling with is you still haven't answered my question
01:20:51What happened on the cruise?
01:20:57Well, I mess up you messed up
01:21:05How did you sleep with that girl?
01:21:13I didn't
01:21:15Next time on 90 Day Fiancé
