00:00The Danish Armed Forces say unidentified drones were seen flying near one of the biggest military installations into the early hours of Saturday.
00:10Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attacks the recognition of a Palestinian state during his fiery speech at the UN that saw dozens of delegates walk out.
00:21Unidentified drones were seen near one of Denmark's biggest military installations overnight into Saturday, according to the Danish Armed Forces.
00:30The army did not specify where the drones were observed, but officials speaking to local media say they were seen near the Karup airbase in western Denmark.
00:40It comes just a few days after the country reported a major breach in drone sightings, which prompted the closures of airports.
00:48The largest and busiest, Copenhagen Airport, was closed for hours after several drones were observed in its airspace.
00:55Close to a half dozen other airports, both civilian and military, were also temporarily restricted in the days that followed due to similar breaches.
01:05Danish authorities have slammed the incidents as hybrid attacks.
01:09Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said on Thursday that Monday's attacks were, quote,
01:13Israeli strikes killed at least 44 people across Gaza on Saturday, local health officials said, despite growing calls for a ceasefire and international pressure on Israel.
01:33According to medics, the airstrike Saturday morning demolished a house in Gaza's city's Tufa neighborhood, killing at least 11 people.
01:42Officers at Shifa Hospital said four other people were killed when an airstrike hit their homes in the Shati refugee camp,
01:51while strikes on a house on the Nusrat refugee camp killed nine members of the same family.
01:57The attacks came just hours after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that his country must finish the job against Hamas in Gaza while addressing other world leaders at the U.N. General Assembly.
02:11Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters on Friday that the U.S. is close to achieving a deal on easing fighting in Gaza that will get the hostages back and end the war.
02:24Trump and Netanyahu are scheduled to meet on Monday.
02:30Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday at the U.N. General Assembly berated the recognition of a Palestinian state by multiple Western countries,
02:39vowing to finish the job of eliminating Hamas.
02:43Netanyahu described the Palestinian state's recognition as a mark of shame that suggested, quote,
02:50murdering Jews pays off.
02:52Please order in the hall and please be seated.
02:57Well, I have a message for these leaders.
03:00When the most savage terrorists on earth are effusively praising your decision,
03:06you didn't do something right.
03:08You did something wrong, horribly wrong.
03:11Your disgraceful decision will encourage terrorism against Jews and against innocent people everywhere.
03:20It will be a mark of shame on all of you.
03:23Dozens of delegates and diplomats staged a walkout as Netanyahu gave his address,
03:29leaving large parts of the conference hall empty.
03:32In its reaction to Netanyahu's speech, Hamas described the walkout as showcasing Israel's isolation due to the war in Gaza.
03:41The Global Sumud Flotilla says it will continue its journey towards Gaza despite recent difficulties
03:52which has seen one of the boats on the fleet sidelined.
03:55The family boat, one of the main vessels carrying Aden people on the flotilla,
04:00suffered an engine failure, forcing its docking and repair.
04:04A spokesperson for the group says the damage was done after multiple incendiary drone attacks,
04:09leading to what he called a catastrophic failure.
04:12People on board the boat as well as the aid cargo will be relocated and distributed across the remainder of the fleet,
04:19set to continue its sail on Saturday.
04:21Meanwhile, ten Italian citizens have decided to abandon the journey following pressure from the Italian government.
04:28President Sergio Mattarella asked the group to heed of Prime Minister Giorgia Maloney's advice
04:33and not put anyone in harm's way.
04:35Maloney had requested the initiation of an aid corridor to deliver the flotilla's supplies to Palestinians via Cyprus.
04:43The group says they're determined to break the Israeli siege on the enclave
04:46and called for more global support amid Israel's repeated aggression in international waters.
