Brian Schottenheimer joined Bobby and RJ to discuss the upcoming matchup against the Packers. Schotty reflected on his first year as Cowboys coach so far and shared how the defense prepares under pressure. He also discussed how the team will approach game management against Micah Parsons and the rest of the loaded Packers defense. Schotty  also provided updates on Mazi Smith and Jaydon Blue and explained what it takes to keep the team resilient, communicative, and ready on game day.

00:19that you've already gotten kind of a year's worth of designing practice game plans for stopping

00:23micah that first year you were here with dq yeah i mean i you know look game planning a guy like

00:30michael or an elite player you know uh which is not new uh to any week you know you got whether

00:35it's you know the giants that have three guys mean green bay has a bunch of guys you know

00:41rashawn gary's a hell of a player mike is a great player uh shoot savior mckinney is a great safety

00:46and the backers the team speed's amazing um i would say the awareness of the player uh is a is a

00:53is a positive in terms of how to game plan them but again you know um you know how jeff half of

00:59the defense coordinator green bay is going to use them i mean i think they're still learning micah

01:03so they're going to have new wrinkles and things that maybe that dq or zim or or or floose you know

01:10might not have done with micah so i think that's that's the the challenge but that's the chess piece

01:16and that's the chess match you know i like to say because that's what we live for but uh you know

01:22we all know the talent of micah parsons and and the ability that he has is incredible but you know

01:28we're there why they're so good is that he's not the only piece you know i mean rashawn gary's a damn

01:35good football player walker and cooper both inside backers are damn good football players and uh the

01:41team speed is real and then you know they got van nass and i mentioned mckinney so uh it's more than

01:47just one player but uh getting back to your original question i i think the awareness of of you know

01:53understanding micah a little bit helps uh but they're going to use them different ways and that's

01:57where we have to be ready to adjust on game day
