Brian Schottenheimer told the media he had a lengthy private discussion recently with Micah Parsons. While keeping most of the details under wraps, Schotty confirmed they covered several topics & addressed various issues. 00:22the Falcons yeah Mike and I had a long conversation um probably uh talked for an hour about a lot of

00:28different things and uh addressed a number of different issues and things like that and uh

00:33at this point I'm going to keep that between he and I but uh we had a we had a very very good

00:37conversation all right so you can only imagine the number of topics that was covered I would guess

00:44it would be hey do you plan on yeah plan on playing against the Eagles and when do you think you might

00:52need to get on the practice field to do it yeah I think again that's um always the story you know

00:58like you know it's it's different for everybody the fact he's been here gives him a little bit

01:02of a leg up on the fact that he knows the defense and that could be a completely different story if

01:06he wasn't here um but uh at the end of the day I think once um we want him out there as soon as

01:12possible and uh you know when he's feeling up to it and all those things is a big factor into it but

01:18every day that he can get out there and get reps would be would be great but I will think I do think

01:23very strongly that him being around has helped him doing some of the uh walkthroughs and things

01:28like that does help uh there's communication there's signals that come from the sideline

01:33there's communication from player to player that uh he's getting all those things but the best way to

01:38get good at football and to is to play football and so I would say as soon as possible would be would

01:43be the desired effect man shot he's doing a nice job nice job at the podium covering well he's got the

01:50signals down and he has been out there for all the walkthrough stuff he knows what's going on in

01:55the classroom so he's doing as good a job as he can in a tough situation without his best player

02:01yeah what that says to me when you try to read between the lines he's talking about well he's

02:06been here so it's a little bit of a different court means he's greasing the tracks for he may not

02:10practice this week is that he still wants him out there and he still expects him to to potentially be

02:16out there but that sounds to me at least like braun schottenheimer is not certain he will practice
