Paul Schwartz from the New York Post joined Shan, RJ, and Bobby to break down the Giants’ early-season struggles and what’s ahead. He explained that while the team had stumbled out of the gate, Jackson Dart had shown enough in training camp to give fans some hope, and the Giants could be competitive if their offensive line held up. Schwartz noted that Russell Wilson probably should have started the season, but Dart’s performance made it clear he could be the team’s future. Finally, he helped preview Sunday’s Cowboys-Giants game.

00:00Paul you mentioned there that you you don't feel like the Giants are a great team and they may not
00:19even be a good team but if the Giants were to come in here and win this game on Sunday against
00:24the Cowboys what is it you think that what does that look like like how do you think they're doing
00:29that is that just feeding Malik neighbors a ton is that Tyrone Tracy gets the ball and it is running
00:33wild on them how do the Giants have success to the point that they come in here and upset Dallas
00:38yeah I always like that question because it's like okay force me to think about how they can win
00:44because I spend a lot of time figuring out how they're going to lose you know because they don't
00:48look good um no that that's good I would say number one on defense is they stopped the run you know
00:53they gave up 220 rushing yards last you guys know the commanders have a very intricate running
00:59scheme and they have Jayden Daniels who just is almost impossible to corral so um I won't give
01:04them a pass because they weren't a good run defense last year um but I would say if they can if they
01:09can make Dak throw the ball they have good pass rushers you know what I mean you know um you know
01:16Abdul Carter is not Micah Parsons but I think he's the closest thing in the league that can be Micah
01:22Parsons and eventually be a Parsons type player you know he's the prototype of that and he didn't get
01:28he only got you know half the snaps last week and and look pretty good Brian Burns had two sacks
01:33Kayvon Thibodeau had a sack against the guy that's very difficult to sack so um if they can if they can
01:40earn the right to rush the passer I think they will rush the passer you know I think they're there they
01:45have guys who can do that um and I think um offensively they just have to run the ball a little
01:51bit you know they they they're not a great running team no Cam Scatterboo the rookie everyone's very
01:55excited about him he's a banger uh he you know he got hit behind the line of scrimmage almost every
02:00time so um I you know they they have to run the ball you know Russell Wilson can do play action stuff
02:06and he had none of that last week because there was not no action to play you know there was no
02:10there's no threat of a run so um you know I mean I see the Cowboys are going to be down a cornerback
02:16it looks like um you know Darius Slayton had no catches last week I mean there's a there's a
02:21recipe for for victory for the Giants but um you know every time I go in that building you know other
02:26than you know the first time with Eli Manning when he signed the wall um it's you know kind of a disaster
