00:22Police! Stop!
00:23Hosted by Sean Sticks Larkin.
00:50You know you're on camera, right?
00:55Welcome to Crime Cam 24-7.
00:58Social media has become a critical tool for law enforcement.
01:02At numerous times during my career,
01:04we were able to find valuable information in real time
01:07about a shooting or a homicide,
01:09often within 24 hours of the incident.
01:12Now, this approach can be used by criminals as well,
01:15especially in gang-related shootings.
01:18But when a potential target shares a bit too much information online,
01:22he presents his rivals with an opportunity.
01:25And when they see it, they seize it.
01:33Tampa, Florida.
01:35Wednesday, June 23, 2024, 2-22 AM.
01:42A surveillance camera at the entrance of this gentleman's club
01:45captures rapper and known Jacksonville gang member Julio Fulio
01:49entering the club for a short performance
01:52during his birthday weekend.
01:54The rapper had previously promoted this appearance
01:56via social media for all to see, including his rivals.
02:02After the show, at around 3.30 AM,
02:05he posts again to let his followers know where he's headed next.
02:09A hotel pool party.
02:12Roughly an hour later, surveillance cameras at the hotel
02:15show the rapper sitting in the front passenger side
02:18of this black Dodge Charger at the entrance.
02:21But promoting his good times on social media
02:24is about to attract the wrong people.
02:27Cameras equipped on a Tesla parked in the lot
02:30pick up three masked gunmen creeping
02:32through the hotel parking lot,
02:34and they're not here for the party.
02:36Now, this may look like a movie,
02:39but I assure you, this footage is very real.
02:42Seconds after the gunmen appear on the footage
02:59from the Tesla onboard cameras,
03:01they're seen running towards the car Julio is sitting in
03:04and open fire.
03:06One shooter unloads multiple rounds
03:08through the windshield of the Charger,
03:10while another gunman fires at a black sedan
03:13facing the opposite direction.
03:17The gunman continues to fire at Julio
03:20as the car he's in races by, trying to escape the scene.
03:25The third gunman steps out from between two cars
03:28in the parking lot and also fires on the vehicle.
03:32Cameras in the parking lot capture the Charger speeding away,
03:38followed by two of the fleeing gunmen.
03:47This incredible footage captured the real-life murder
03:50of rapper Julio Fulio, legal name Charles Jones.
03:54Three members of his entourage were injured
03:57but survived the shooting.
03:58A multi-agency task force used social media,
04:01license plate readers, and data from cell phones
04:05to identify five suspects believed to be involved
04:08in the murder plot.
04:0918-year-old Sean Gathright,
04:1121-year-old Isaiah Chance,
04:13and 21-year-old Alicia Andrews

04:19on July 27, 2024.
04:2230-year-old Rashad Murphy was arrested by Jacksonville deputies
04:26after an hours-long standoff a week after the killing
04:29on July 30, 2024.

04:3527-year-old Davion Murphy, remains at large.

05:28As we've seen on this show,
05:29convenience stores are a common location
05:31for absolutely ridiculous and often illegal behavior.
05:35And this next story checks both those boxes.
05:38When a customer loses his cool
05:40and then still can't find it,
05:42hours later.
05:43As you're about to see,
05:44they're going to need a cleanup in aisle four,
05:47and five,
05:48and three,
05:50and two.
05:51I think you get the point.
05:58Lancaster, New Hampshire.
06:01Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, 9.57 p.m.
06:07A customer is completing his transaction with the clerk
06:10at this 24-hour convenience store.
06:13So far, it's business as usual.
06:15The two men seem to be having a civil conversation.
06:19But for reasons unknown,
06:20that's all about to change.
06:23Out of nowhere,
06:24the customer shoves the clerk's scanner off the counter.
06:28Picking up his items,
06:30he then rages, tearing down a protective barrier.
06:33The clerk puts the scanner back in place and remains calm.
06:37Working at a 24-hour convenience store,
06:40perhaps he's seen this sort of thing before.
06:43The employee makes a simple gesture,
06:46signaling for the disruptive customer to leave,
06:49but it's enough to push the agitated man over the edge.
06:53He approaches the counter, ripping down a sign,
06:57and pushes the register to the ground.
06:59He continues to wreak havoc,
07:01throwing down a display at the counter
07:03while the clerk tries to figure out his next move.
07:06He retrieves his phone off the floor
07:08as the customer turns his attention
07:10to destroying other items throughout the store.
07:14The rampage continues
07:16as the man rips down two more displays,
07:19then moves to the ATM.
07:22Yeah, that ain't going anywhere.
07:25With the situation out of control,
07:27the clerk reaches under the counter
07:29and presses a panic button to summon local authorities.
07:35Turning his aggression towards the clerk,
07:38the man grabs another display
07:40and pearls it in his direction.
07:42The clerk tries to make a call for help,
07:46but the man throws a rack of coffee creamers.
07:50The contents hit the clerk who runs for cover.
07:52With thousands of dollars of damage already done,
07:59the suspect decides to help himself
08:01to some cigarettes behind the counter.
08:04But his smoke break is interrupted
08:06as police respond to the call from the panic button.
08:09The out-of-control man spots the officer approaching
08:12and throws a carton of cigarettes at him.
08:16He removes the cigarette from his mouth,
08:18but doesn't resist as the officer places him under arrest.
08:2235-year-old Richard Ruddy was brought down to the police station
08:26and charged with criminal mischief.
08:28He was immediately released on bail
08:30with specific conditions not to return to the convenience store.
08:35But he just can't stay away.
08:49Yes, later that same evening,
08:51after being released from jail,
08:53Richard Ruddy returns to the store,
08:56crashing his vehicle through the entrance,
08:58adding a new level to the destruction.
09:03The reflection of flashing police lights
09:06appear on the wall as the authorities arrive.
09:10An officer aims his firearm at the familiar suspect
09:13and orders him out of the vehicle.
09:15The officers promptly re-arrest 35-year-old Richard Ruddy
09:25and hold him under preventive detention.
09:28A short time later, the store manager arrives,
09:32and she just wants to know one thing.
09:35What the happened?
09:36He got in his car and drove through your doors.
09:38On purpose?
09:39Yep.
09:40The same guy?
09:41Yep.
09:42So...
09:43What do you do right now?
09:44So what, what, what did you do with this mall?
09:46I didn't!
09:47No, I'm just kidding.
09:48So, it's clear to say there's gonna be more charges,
09:56So it's clear to say there's going to be more charges, and I do not believe the Bail
10:11Commissioner is going to release them.
10:14We can't do any more damage.
10:19As a result of the second incident, Ruddy was hit with another count of criminal mischief
10:24and a charge of criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, and breach of bail.
10:29Fortunately, nobody was injured.
10:32His case is pending.
10:35A security camera covers a long hallway in this small county courthouse in rural Maine.
10:54Inside this courtroom at the end of the hall, a sentencing hearing is underway for a man
10:59convicted of child abuse.
11:02While the hearing is in process, surveillance cameras cover a hallway outside the courtroom,
11:07an unmanned security desk, the front vestibule, and multiple angles of the parking lot.
11:14Shortly before 2 p.m., people sitting in the hallway outside the courtroom are startled
11:19by a commotion near the courtroom door.
11:22Inside, the felon has just been sentenced and isn't sticking around to go to prison.
11:28The handcuffed man comes racing out of court.
11:32An attorney seated on the bench stands up and attempts to corral the man, but the escapee
11:37dodges him and disappears off camera.
11:40Led by the attorney and a bailiff from the courtroom, the camera trained on the empty security desk
11:49captures the man coming out of a door at the end of the courtroom hallway and leaping down
11:54a set of stairs to the courthouse vestibule, narrowly escaping the attorney and bailiff who
12:00are right behind him.
12:02He makes it all the way outside the courthouse with his hands cuffed.
12:06The attorney appears to give up, but the bailiff is still in hot pursuit.
12:12Cameras on the perimeter of the building pick up the chase as the escapee runs into the parking
12:16lot.
12:17It looks like he's got a clear escape path, but not so fast.
12:22A group of jurors on break from duty spot the man.
12:27He makes a quick U-turn in the street, then face plants into the grass after a few steps.
12:35Two jurors help subdue the convict, while the bailiff, who never gave up the chase, takes
12:40him into custody.
12:45The escapee is then escorted back across the street to the courthouse.
12:51The convict, 31-year-old Nicholas Carter, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the aggravated
12:56assault case and faces an additional charge of escape for fleeing the sentencing hearing.
13:02His case for escaping custody is pending in Somerset County, Maine.
