I had the honor of speaking with Kevin Field today, co-founder of Wefayo—a platform rooted in storytelling, creativity, and healing. Kevin opened up about the deeply personal experiences that led to Wefayo’s creation: his wife’s journey with Crohn’s disease and his son’s path navigating special needs.

Our conversation was a powerful reminder of how technology can be used to build true community—where stories foster connection, and support becomes a shared ritual. Kevin’s vision for Wefayo is clear: no one should face their challenges alone, and our differences deserve to be celebrated, not hidden.

Looking forward to continuing this dialogue with both Kevin and Henry soon. Their work is a testament to what happens when innovation meets compassion.

00:00So many entrepreneurs with disabilities face unique barriers.
00:04How does WeFiO uplift and amplify their work?
00:06So the way WeFiO uplifts and amplifies their work is we have a differently abled entrepreneur spotlight program.
00:14We showcase entrepreneurs like Drew Davis, who runs a thriving online hot sauce business despite cerebral palsy.
00:21Ali Bach, who delights customers with his cookies while living with autism.
00:25In total, we help raise awareness for 35 differently abled entrepreneurs, encouraging our community to visit their sites and support them directly.
00:34That's perfect. I love that.
00:36So what role does storytelling play in the way you both lead and connect with the community?
00:41Love that question because stories create connection in ways that nothing else can.
