00:00There's only one way to get this thing started and War Eagle.
00:05Thank you all for being here this morning.
00:08I want to start by thanking our president, Dr. Chris Roberts, our athletics director, John Cohen, our sport administrator, Janann Paul,
00:17the rest of John's executive staff and the board of trustees for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be the head coach of this prestigious program.
00:26Um, it's an honor to lead this university and this program into the next chapter of Auburn basketball.
00:36I've been preparing for this moment my entire life.
00:39You know, the last 16 years, I've been in every aspect that is college basketball.
00:46I played at the University of Tennessee, not very well, but I did play at the University of Tennessee as a player, as a student athlete.
00:56Um, and then I started my journey here at Auburn in 2014.
00:59I started out as an assistant strength coach under Damon Davis.
01:03I worked my way up to, uh, director of basketball operations, uh, was then promoted to assistant coach and then was promoted to, uh, associate head coach and our defensive coordinator.
01:15That journey has shaped how I lead, how I listen, and how I build.
01:21Uh, it's given me a front row seat to the principles of what have made this program so successful and that perspective, uh, I, I plan to carry them forward with purpose.
01:31Uh, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I
