00:00July 20th, 1969.

00:02600 million people watched as Neil Armstrong took that historic step on the moon.

00:07But over 50 years later, not everyone's convinced it really happened.

00:11This isn't about claiming the Earth is flat or that space doesn't exist.

00:15This is about asking one simple question.

00:18What if the moon landing wasn't what we were told?

00:20Start with the context. It was the Cold War.

00:23America was desperate to beat the Soviet Union to the moon.

00:26Billions of dollars. Reputations on the line.

00:29Failure wasn't an option.

00:31Then come the questions.

00:34Why does the flag appear to wave in a vacuum?

00:36Why are there no stars in any of the photos?

00:39Why do some shadows in the footage fall in different directions, as if lit by multiple light sources?

00:44NASA says the flag was stiffened with wire.

00:47They say the cameras couldn't capture stars.

00:49They say the strange shadows were due to uneven terrain.

00:57In 2006, NASA admitted they lost the original telemetry data, the master tapes of the moon landing.

01:08Why wouldn't the most important footage in human history be backed up?

01:15A massive field of radiation surrounds Earth.

01:28Days after returning from the moon, the astronauts seemed tired, awkward, even uncomfortable.

01:43But there are a lot of loose ends.

01:45A lot of unanswered questions.

01:47And in an age of CGI deepfakes and government secrets, asking questions isn't crazy.

01:52It's necessary.

01:53Maybe the moon landing happened exactly as we were told.

01:57Maybe it was edited, staged, or partially reconstructed.

02:01Maybe we did go, but not everything we saw was real.

02:04All we're saying is don't stop asking questions.
