00:00a couple of milestones set from future hall of famers this past week clayton kershaw making his
00:05final start at dodger stadium says this will be the final year of his career i don't need to tell
00:10you or anyone else that five years from now he'll be in cooperstown the guy has done it all three
00:16cy youngs two world series five eras the triple crown the mvp uh you know i i kind of was like i
00:24wonder if erlander scherzer and kershaw are all going to go in at the same time but i think those
00:28other two dudes are probably going to pitch next season but kershaw will be as close to a unanimous
00:33vote i would guess as we will see in in baseball oh without a doubt and i think we could highlight
00:40all the the peaks and just how remarkable the the peak of his career was but i think the most
00:46incredible part of of just the appreciation at least for myself with kershaw is that
00:51the way that he was able to still succeed at 34 to 37 years old throwing five to six miles per hour
01:00slower than he ever really threw was like the epitome of how this guy mastered pitching and just
01:04we would just put it on display a 285 era since 2022 for a guy that's had shoulder surgery and
01:10is sitting at 0.89 miles per hour i think just shows you that this this dude has just mastered the art of
01:17pitching
