00:00I have an acoustic neuroma. So a couple of years ago, I literally woke up and I couldn't really hear out of my right ear.
00:07And I thought, oh, that's a bit odd. And I'd flown the week before. I thought maybe it's not popped.
00:13Went to the doctor and it was a medical emergency because obviously it could be a brain tumour.
00:18So they were brilliant. They sent me straight to see a consultant and it took a while for them to work out what was going on
00:24because it was after COVID. But it is called an acoustic neuroma, which is a benign tumour.
00:30Happens to, you know, many people. Don't know why. And can it be removed?
00:34So mine is in the inner ear canal right in there. And it's very, it's very dangerous, sadly.
00:41So it is basically inoperable for me. It's not always inoperable.
00:46So I am having radiotherapy in November. I'm really nervous.
00:49Is that because it's grown? Yeah, it's growing, sadly. Yeah.
