00:00The last time Kirsty was on this show, last year, you were going through a heck of a lot yourself,
00:05health-wise,
00:06and people always think of you as, you know, athletic and so fit, and you're always either walking, jogging, doing
00:11something so active,
00:12but you've had a heck of a time too.
00:14Can I just say, you look amazing and well done and we're all here for you, and I didn't realise
00:19that, gosh.
00:20Yeah, I found out I had basically a brain tumor, an acoustic neuroma in my right ear.
00:25Yeah, I went deaf a few years ago, and I had radiotherapy last year, so I've got my MRI coming
00:32up soon,
00:33where we'll know whether it's worked. I mean, success rate's very good.
00:38Really, I mean, it's not going to get rid of it, it's whether it shrinks it and sort of kills
00:41the good DNA
00:42that will keep making it grow, really. So, yeah, but it's hard.
00:47I mean, I'm very hard of hearing now in my right ear, and the tinnitus is far worse than it
00:51was, sadly,
00:52when I was here a year ago.
00:53Oh, no.
00:54I said to David, we're chatting, we've known each other 20 years, and I'm going, what did you say?
00:59I thought it was me.
01:00No, it's me, sadly.
01:01But, you know, it is, you know, we all have our health concerns, don't we,
01:06and it's just navigating that and supporting each other.
01:09I thought it was me.
01:10I thought it was me.
