00:02Here's the incredible thing about the Bears.

00:04The talk is the offense,

00:06and it should be because Caleb Williams won a Heisman Trophy

00:09when first overall, they brought in Ben Johnson.

00:12But when you see this total of 50 and a half,

00:15you're reminded through two weeks,

00:17the biggest concern for this team

00:19as it pertains to winning,

00:22making the playoffs, win totals,

00:24is a defense that gave up 52 last week

00:28to the Detroit Lions.

00:30Don, we can get into the quarterbacks of this,

00:33the coaches of this,

00:34but how are you attacking, I think,

00:36one of the most fascinating games we've seen this season?

00:39Attacking certainly with an over,

00:40and sometimes I look at this and say,

00:41why is it only 50 and a half?

00:43You see the way these two teams are playing defense

00:44and also the capabilities of their offense.

00:46Understand this.

00:47You look at the Dallas Cowboys last week.

00:48They probably should have lost that game,

00:49but the Giants' defense was so bad,

00:51they couldn't get any simple stops in their game

00:53against the Cowboys.

00:54I like what I see, and we talk about this every year.

00:56Dak Prescott's healthy.

00:57CeeDee Lamb is healthy.

00:58The offense is going to move regardless of who they're playing,

01:00and you see that.

01:01But also from a Chicago spot,

01:03I thought they were in such a bad spot last week.

01:05The fact that the Detroit Lions,

01:06after week number one, played the Packers,

01:08were a very good team on the road,

01:09you knew that was a great bounce-back spot,

01:10and you knew they were going to put up numbers.

01:12Do we think they put up 50?

01:13Probably not.

01:14But if I go toe-to-toe,

01:16Caleb Williams is at the point now

01:17where Ben Johnson's going,

01:18I need to see something from you, kid.

01:20And sometimes you talk about, like,

01:21Arch Manning in college.

01:22He had a layup yesterday,

01:23but he said, you know what, Kevin?

01:25You've got to put him in the right spot.

01:28two on the ground.

01:29I'm not saying that Caleb can mirror that.

01:37What's the offense been?

01:38Like, this isn't what we saw,

01:39this super aggressive offense

01:40that we had for Detroit,

01:41and also from a Dallas perspective.

01:43You watched that tape last week.

01:45You threw it all over the Giants,

01:46and now you're getting a team that's like,

01:48they couldn't even get probably a third down stop,

01:51let alone get the fourth down last week

01:52against the Detroit Lions on that defense.

01:54I expect Dallas to be licking their chops

01:56at the wide receiver position,

01:57but also at the same time.

01:59This is one of those games

02:00where Chicago's 0-2.

02:01Ben Johnson's your head coach.

02:03This team doesn't even want to practice

02:06That needs to get through to them

02:07where they're going to be elevated.

02:46to full expectations does not seem likely.

02:52I, me not betting the Bears in this game is cowardly

02:56because I like the Bears in this game.

02:58I like the Bears more than Dallas coming into this season.

03:02if we did like an AP poll in the NFL,

03:06you'd look at Dallas,

03:07they'd be ranked like 12th.

03:08And hold on a second,

03:09their resume is losing to the Eagles

03:11and beating the Giants in overtime at home.

03:14Why are they, what's going on here?

03:16Like, I understand the Bears' situation has been bad,

03:20but Dallas, I mean,

03:21this is the greatest, worst one-on-one performance

03:24I've ever seen.

03:25It's such a fascinating one.

04:32At some point, though, is anybody going to be like,

04:37Like, I don't think that that play mattered

04:38as much as everybody wanted it to.

04:40He doesn't turn the football over.

04:41And Dallas, Donnie, Jalen Hurts, I mean,

04:44could have made a sandwich and dessert back there

04:47against this team, these soft zones.

04:49And Russ gifted them that late interception.

04:51It didn't even happen, obviously,

04:53within the full four quarters.

04:54I am betting Caleb to not be picked off in this game.
