00:00I stayed in 50 of the weirdest hotels, like an upside down room, a brand new treehouse neighborhood,
00:04a luxury tiger resort where you sleep next to animals, and in this video you'll see all 50
00:08hotels and way more. Starting with this hotel room you can stay in for free. The only problem
00:13is your walls are all glass and the room is in the lobby of the hotel so anybody walking by can
00:17see you all the time. Basically you pay no money but get no privacy. Hey, starting to feel like an
00:24animal in the zoo. My first impressions were good. You do get a fancy bed, a table, and a normal
00:29bathroom with actual solid walls. I even ordered some room service when I got hungry. Thank you.
00:34But just because you're eating doesn't mean people are going to stop taking pictures of you.
00:37Oh my gosh, look at this guy. I could never stay in that. What is happening? And when I started to
00:45sleep, some people literally tried waking me up. Not to mention the lights will stay on all night
00:49and people will still be watching you the whole time. They really make you feel like you're a
00:52celebrity. There's definitely no other hotel like this on earth. By the way, we'll rank every single
00:56hotel by weirdness and this one is definitely S tier. At least my next hotel is completely normal.
01:01Like here I am at a totally normal looking breakfast table, right? Wrong. This hotel room
01:05is completely upside down. Completely upside down. When you first walk in, you feel like you've
01:10entered another world. All the furniture is connected to the roof. So the fireplace is on the
01:15ceiling and the TV is touching the ground. And the bed is also the table. Yeah, this is weird.
01:20The bed table was pretty comfy. Honestly, the more time you spend in here, the crazier you start to go.
01:25Why is there a dog on the ceiling? Luckily, the toilet's not on the ceiling. That would be bad.
01:30It's like you're staying inside of an illusion. Honestly, whoever designed this place is a genius or
01:34absolutely insane. But next, we're staying in a hotel with robot dinosaur workers like these
01:41raptors that help you check into your room. So these are the front desk workers. Do you bite?
01:45They tell you exactly how to use the touchscreens to get your key.
01:48Please apply your passport on the beach with your picture on the device.
01:52And now you can go check into your room without having spoken to a single human.
01:56You might think your room is simple, but there's even a robot in every single room.
02:00I'm your concierge. You can talk to me when my eyes are yellow.
02:04Where are the vending machines?
02:05Vending machines are on each floor.
02:07Pretty helpful, actually.
02:09I'm going to dance now, so watch me.
02:11What is happening?
02:20In the morning, you can even go eat in the Jurassic Diner, where of course you can get
02:25dino chicken nuggets for breakfast. Also, easily the best breakfast item. But we're still only just
02:30getting started, and the next hotel might be my favorite ever, because it's in a safari park resort
02:34and right past these gardens. Welcome to the Tiger Lodge. This is crazy. In this hotel, the tigers will
02:41walk right up to your window. They'll get super close and even start to cuddle up right next to
02:45you. So throughout your day, you'll work, relax, and eat right next to the tigers. So I really hope
02:51this glass is strong. What's up? This is not really a hotel room. It's more just like a house. You've
02:57got your bookshelf, super cozy living room, even a full-size Christmas tree. Obviously, even your
03:02bedroom has a view of the tigers. So I guess it'll be your security throughout the night. And if you have
03:07friends, just go across the hall to get to their room. This place is so luxurious, you even
03:11get a resort guide. He'll show you around. Like, I found out I have an outdoor bath with a view,
03:15and he even introduced the tigers staying with me. Basically, this is Amura, the older and more
03:20aggressive cat, while this guy, Misha, is super chill. Like, he's literally just chilling and
03:25enjoying the outdoors. It's so weird. I've never been to a zoo this quiet and empty. Like, I can just
03:30walk up to the monkeys and no one's around. Hello. I was even the only one there at the gorillas.
03:36Like, I'm the only one walking around. There's a huge dinosaur forest with over a hundred dinosaurs.
03:42And close by are the rhinos. They've got toys, like half of a tree to play with. And of course,
03:46being a safari park, you can go on a safari to see all the animals. This place is huge. There are wolves,
03:52antelope, a camel blocking the way. And then as it gets later, you can walk back to your cabin and
03:58check in on your tigers. Hey, Misha. Watch out too. It's so funny. They still act like a house cat,
04:04but their paws are like bigger than your head. Clearly, Misha was getting ready to sleep. So I
04:08decided to hang out with him and read a book. I've definitely never been to a hotel quite like this
04:13one. Imagine I sleep right here. This is so ridiculous. This video is not going to be cheap.
04:19This tiger lodge costs a thousand dollars a night, but I will say it's been one of the best hotels I've
04:24ever stayed in. Literally seeing a tiger right in front of your bed is like a once in a lifetime
04:28experience. I don't think you can beat sleeping next to a tiger, but our next hotel all the way
04:32in Japan is pretty weird. The entrance is covered with giant candies and sweets. Wow. There's even
04:37this creepy robot tree that talks to you. Oh, you gotta bend your limbs a bit when you're a tree.
04:43This really might be the strangest looking hotel in Japan and inside it just gets crazier.
04:48Oh, wow. This is ridiculous. Welcome to my room for tonight. This is the bed,
04:53but all the pillows are donuts. There is a couch, but it's not that comfortable.
04:59But the weirdest part of the room is in the bathroom. It has a faucet that lets you make a
05:02chocolate bath. That's nasty. I don't think that's chocolate. This place gives me the creeps.
05:08It wasn't my favorite hotel to stay in, but next, a hotel in a crane. Yeah, that is my hotel tonight.
05:13It is massive and it's really expensive for one night here, so it better be worth it. The only way to
05:18get to your room is on this small elevator. I'm a little scared, honestly.
05:22This is your very unique living room. Is that an egg chair? Here's your bathroom.
05:28These are hot lamps. And there's an electric guitar. This has got to be the most unique and
05:32interesting hotel I've ever been to. Up the stairs is your luxury bedroom. This feels like
05:37how a king would live. Feels luxurious. There's a bath up here. This is insane. Oh, yes. Now we're
05:47talking. And there's, uh, even a peacock next to the bed that watches you sleep. Later, I went up to
05:53the top of the crane to see the view. This view is crazy. And it gets extremely windy up here.
05:58My hotel swaying in the wind was a little strange, so let's check out my next resort in Dubai. It's
06:03the world's only seven-star hotel and costs $1,000 a night. Inside, the lobby is completely ridiculous.
06:08There are gold escalators and gold elevators. And your room is basically an entire house.
06:14This is actually insane. You've got a fancy desk. The TV is gold. Furniture's gold. The coffee maker's
06:20gold. These random holes are gold. A golden staircase. A golden chandelier. There's this fancy
06:26area for whatever fancy stuff people do here. The most insane bathroom I've ever seen in my life.
06:31Even the shower is gold. This is ridiculous. The bedroom is just on another level. And using the
06:37remote, you can even get the TV to move. What the heck? I could get used to this. But being fancy
06:42doesn't make it the weirdest hotel. So let's see a hotel inside of a horse. This building has so many
06:47features I never could have imagined. You might be wondering, how do you even get into the horse?
06:51The answer is obvious. There's a drawbridge in the horse's butt. Talk about a back door.
07:00Uh, yeah, let's go inside. The inside really makes you feel like you're traveling back into medieval times.
07:05You've got bunk bed one and bunk bed two. Fireplace to keep warm. Really cool dining table.
07:10I have no idea what this is. And the most magical room is right up these stairs inside the head of
07:15the horse. This room, or, uh, the head, can move using this handle. Just pull it up or down.
07:22Whoa!
07:23Okay, we're going down, going down.
07:25And going up.
07:26It's like your hotel room has its own theme park ride.
07:29This is insane.
07:30In the morning, hotel staff will ring a bell when your breakfast is ready. They bring you this basket
07:34and you just have to pull it up to the kitchen with the horse's police system.
07:38Time to eat.
07:42Staying in a horse was magical. Solid B tier.
07:44And tonight's hotel is called the Book and Bed Cafe. It's a capsule hotel where you sleep
07:48inside a bookshelf. It's $50 a night and basically heaven for people who love books. Here,
07:53it's just really easy, honestly, to put your phone down, grab a coffee, and get lost in a book.
08:00Of course, most of the books here are in Japanese. But luckily, there is a small English section.
08:05Like, they've really put so many random, interesting books here for you to grab.
08:09There's also showers and a disco ball so you can party with your books.
08:14But before my next hotel, I might have found the weirdest restaurant on earth.
08:17Inside are tons of baby robots. And when you sit down, they give you one. This guy's name
08:22is Matcha.
08:25This is weird.
08:28First, you're supposed to hold it and treat it like a baby.
08:31Gotta say, I never expected to have a robot baby.
08:34Step two, gently stroke its head and belly.
08:37I don't... I don't know why.
08:39Step three, it has voice commands so you can talk to it.
08:42Matcha.
08:45But just like a real baby, it will fall all the time.
08:48Honestly, these robots are pretty sweet. The only problem is they cost $3,000 to buy.
08:55Okay, now he's falling asleep. You know, I'm not your dad, right?
09:00The capsule was nice, but next we've got an entire house.
09:03This is the world's first treehouse neighborhood.
09:05And I'll be staying here for the next 24 hours.
09:08This one is mine.
09:09Welcome, welcome.
09:10Here's the living room.
09:11And the kitchen.
09:12First thing you notice about this place is that it's basically entirely made of wood.
09:15Which kind of makes sense with the treehouse theme.
09:17Like, this is how they were built.
09:19But the neighborhood still looks insane.
09:20Like, most people driving by have to stop to take a video.
09:23They also have this giant slide.
09:25I can't believe I'm doing this.
09:29That was pretty fun.
09:32Anyways, bedrooms are on the top floor.
09:34They're definitely simple.
09:36And of course, there's a balcony.
09:37Actually, two.
09:38Wait, check out this view.
09:40Whoa.
09:41All right, let's unpack.
09:42I brought clothes, obviously.
09:44Entertainment is very important.
09:46I'm kind of in the middle of nowhere.
09:47I also brought the world's smallest TV.
09:49And I put Shrek on it.
09:54Honestly, it was a pretty smart move.
09:56So I found what has to be the coolest vending machine ever.
09:59I was hungry, looking for food.
10:00Okay, check out how awesome this is.
10:02It's literally a German grocery store.
10:04You've got steak, bratwurst, cheesy bratwurst.
10:07Like, literally every amazing German food you could want.
10:09Yum.
10:14Cheese grill?
10:15What?
10:19Looking good.
10:22Bruh.
10:22These are actually so good.
10:24I was not expecting that.
10:25The sun is set.
10:26Our day is coming to an end.
10:27It was like living in a fantasy world.
10:29So next.
10:30Tonight, I'm staying in the world's first gaming capsule hotel.
10:33Here, you can get your own sleep pod for just $14 a night.
10:36Inside are dozens of advanced gaming PCs you can use while you stay here.
10:40You get your own setup and you can play literally whatever game you want.
10:43Honestly, it's super easy to lose track of time here and spend like your entire day gaming.
10:48And then when you're tired, you can head to your sleeping pod.
10:50There are many different capsule types you can get.
10:52And I even got a private window and a table.
10:56I'm a fan.
10:56Capsule hotels are super convenient.
10:58Like our next stop.
10:59It's a capsule called the Sleep Lab.
11:00If you didn't know, capsule hotels basically have a bunch of mini bunk bed rooms for travelers
11:05who don't need that much space.
11:07They're also like way cheaper than a normal hotel room.
11:10Every capsule comes with your freebies.
11:12Slippers, pajamas, towel, toothbrush.
11:14Inside, you've got your light knob.
11:16And one more thing.
11:18What is this?
11:19It's a sleep tracking camera.
11:21This hotel is called the Sleep Lab because it's literally designed to analyze everyone's
11:25sleep using AI.
11:26Like it was actually taking pictures of me while I slept.
11:29It even gives you data on how well you sleep.
11:31Like how loud my snoring was.
11:34The camera was a little strange.
11:35But let's go to a helicopter mansion.
11:38Yeah, you heard me, right?
11:39Let's see what's inside.
11:39It costs about $280 to stay here for a night, but you really get a lot for your money.
11:43So up here is where the house really begins.
11:46You've got like bar stools overlooking the pool.
11:48And inside, you'll find what really makes this Airbnb weird.
11:50There's an entire helicopter in the living room.
11:52In here, you can sit in the cockpit and pretend to fly the helicopter.
11:55This is so much fun.
11:56And it's also a lounge.
11:57This has to be the only helicopter in the world that became a living room.
12:02This is the kitchen with a huge kitchen table.
12:05Snacks.
12:06Banana.
12:07And like lava lamp heaven.
12:09Why are there so many?
12:10This is bedroom one.
12:12There's so much space.
12:14This room is huge.
12:16And the towel swans are a really nice touch.
12:17Of course, you can go up these stairs.
12:19And up here is bed two.
12:21Across the hall is another room.
12:22Bed three.
12:23And finally, bed four.
12:25This place is so big.
12:26But before we leave, there's one thing about this place I had to try the next morning.
12:30My favorite thing about this Airbnb actually isn't the helicopter.
12:33But it's actually how you get your luggage up and down the stairs.
12:35You just have to take your suitcase, secure it in this net.
12:38And then with this controller, slowly, really slowly, lower it to the ground.
12:44And then you just pull your luggage out.
12:46I guess also if you really had to, you could move grandma that way too upstairs.
12:51Maybe not the weirdest hotel ever, but it's a really cool concept.
12:54Next, we're off to the most expensive hotel I've ever seen.
12:57And probably the fanciest.
12:58Rooms here can cost thousands per night.
13:00It got 36 million views on this TikTok, showing off your own private pool next to your bed with a view of the ocean.
13:06But this hotel in Greece is not cheap at all.
13:08The TikTok comments even say,
13:10That's all I can afford is an imagination manifesting this one day.
13:14And our room starts at about $2,000 a night.
13:17Luckily, the hotel partnered with us to give us a free stay.
13:19So we're going to take a look around and see if this hotel is actually worth the money.
13:22And if it's actually quite as luxurious and beautiful as TikTok makes it look.
13:25When you first walk in, you see your private pool and your crazy looking bedroom.
13:28The designer really put in work here.
13:30What the heck?
13:31Here, you can go right from your bed to the pool by walking a few steps.
13:35This is incredible.
13:36And then swim laps inside your hotel room.
13:38And of course, you can always pop your head back in.
13:42This is for sure the best hotel room yet.
13:44Large flat screen TV with both YouTube and Netflix.
13:46So if you're crazy, you can watch your own YouTube videos.
13:49A giant statue of a gorilla.
13:51A very nice mini bar.
13:52Fully stocked with all the essentials.
13:54But things really heated up the next day.
13:55Where we had the world's fanciest breakfast.
13:57The restaurant has an aquarium bar and...
14:00And you know this place is fancy because...
14:01The food has gold on it.
14:03Seriously, there's real edible gold sprinkled all over the breakfast buffet.
14:06That is so unnecessary.
14:08I felt so lucky to get to stay here.
14:09Easily one of the fanciest rooms ever.
14:11Unlike our next hotel.
14:13On the luxury scale, this one might be near the bottom because it's inside a barn.
14:17I think this is it.
14:19When you first walk in, it might look normal, but it has a secret.
14:23Hello?
14:24Here's your main space and living room.
14:27Kitchen.
14:27Seating area over here.
14:29More cool old chairs.
14:31Warm fireplace.
14:32Here's the bedroom.
14:33And something very special behind this curtain.
14:36See, in this hotel, you have a roommate.
14:38This is Basil.
14:38He's a 12-year-old, two and a half foot tall, mini Shetland horse.
14:42That'll sleep right next to you.
14:43That's a horse.
14:45And that's my bed.
14:47And so when you stay here, it's kind of your job to babysit.
14:51What are you doing?
14:52If you couldn't tell by his hairstyle, Basil's kind of an emo horse.
14:59This is easily the weirdest Airbnb I've ever been in.
15:02I mean that as a compliment.
15:04But you get a pretty big bedroom and many random horse-related objects.
15:09Never stop snacking.
15:11Basil is super well-behaved and tries his best to chew quietly at night.
15:14But it's pretty comfortable overall because it costs just over $200 per night to stay here.
15:19And it's definitely a hotel you'll never forget.
15:21During the day, Basil gets to stay in this massive field with his friends.
15:25He has a mini horse friend named Oscar.
15:27But they basically just walk around and eat all day.
15:29Of course, Basil has neighbors.
15:31Like larger horses.
15:32The Airbnb host gave me a tour and let me meet the cows.
15:35And there's sheep with interesting names.
15:37So they're pretty much all friendly apart from this one.
15:39And his name?
15:40Abraham Lincoln.
15:41Yeah.
15:44This is Sir Lambs the next one.
15:46Sir Lambs a little.
15:47Incredible.
15:48After dark, Basil comes back inside to relax and hang for the rest of the day.
15:54I found this guest book.
15:56These drawings are insane.
15:58And all sorts of people have come to stay with Basil for a night.
16:01Scott, age 45.
16:04Nays to meet you.
16:06I'm Basil.
16:07Some of these are kind of scary.
16:09Like what is that?
16:11I had so much fun with Basil.
16:13A tier.
16:14But in Japan, I stayed in a super colorful hotel covered in art.
16:17It's tour time.
16:18Bed one.
16:19Bed two.
16:20There's a massive version of Connect Four on the wall you can actually play.
16:23The center of the room, you literally have a face.
16:25The sunglasses are lamps.
16:27You control them with the nostrils in the nose.
16:29And the other nostril, tissue box.
16:33I really think this might be the most beautiful hotel room I've been in.
16:36Nearby is the most advanced restaurant on earth.
16:38It's managed by these robot waiters that are controlled by real people.
16:41It allows workers with disabilities or health issues to have a job that they can work comfortably
16:46from anywhere in the world.
16:47Thank you for coming today.
16:49Thank you for having me.
16:50My name is Yuki.
16:52Hello.
16:53Hi.
16:54Hello.
16:55This is incredible.
16:56It's a very small robot that makes coffee.
16:58Of course, you can even place your order from the robots.
17:01Yuko.
17:02Yuko?
17:02Nice to meet you.
17:03Nice to meet you, Yuko.
17:04Yes, I ordered a cafe latte.
17:06Cafe latte.
17:07Cafe latte.
17:08Yes.
17:09And of course, like a normal waiter, they'll bring you your drink.
17:12Nice to meet you.
17:13My name is Kae.
17:16I am serving this table for 30 minutes.
17:20Okay.
17:20And I am operating it from my home.
17:24So the way this restaurant works is all of the robots are actually controlled by real people at home.
17:28This gives jobs to people with physical disabilities that might not allow them to go to work easily.
17:32They use microphones to talk to you and this webcam to see you.
17:36Hello.
17:37Hello.
17:38Arigato.
17:39They can even talk to each other.
17:41Hi, Yuko.
17:41Arigato.
17:42Is this your dog?
17:44Yes.
17:45She is my dog.
17:47Oh.
17:48Her name is Marbo.
17:50Marbo.
17:52Yes.
17:52Japanese traditional dog.
17:55Shiba Inu.
17:56Shiba.
17:56We got steak, rice, and salad.
18:00Can you bring me more water?
18:01Ah, okay.
18:03Okay.
18:04Arigato.
18:05Will you need some more drinks?
18:09No, just water is okay.
18:11Okay.
18:13Wow, thank you.
18:14Thank you, Marbo.
18:15Yes, thank you.
18:19Do you want this back?
18:21Yes, thank you.
18:23Thank you very much.
18:25Bye.
18:25Bye.
18:26Bye.
18:27It was nice to see you.
18:28Yes, it was nice to see you too.
18:32Bye.
18:33This place is such a cool concept and everyone was so nice and lovely to talk to.
18:36On to the next one.
18:37After I sleep.
18:39My art room was kind of small.
18:41So next, let's try the biggest hotel in the entire world.
18:44Seriously, I came all the way to Malaysia to see what it's like.
18:46This place has over 7,000 rooms, giving it the world record for largest hotel on the planet.
18:50You literally never have to leave this hotel because inside is a roller coaster, a huge
18:55zip line, a go-kart track, and a giant shopping mall with tons of restaurants.
18:59It really is an entire indoor city.
19:01Also, you pay just $22 for one night here.
19:03So just head to the lobby to check in with these computers before finding your room.
19:07Well, I guess nobody claimed it was the fanciest hotel in the world.
19:10Let's look around.
19:11Flat screen TV, beds, and a sink.
19:14I was able to sleep, but not that well.
19:17Room wasn't great, but there's so much to do.
19:19So I'll give it a seat.
19:20But next, this is the world's first video game hotel.
19:23But what does that even mean?
19:24Inside is every gamer's dream, a lobby filled with video games of every kind.
19:28First, you check into your room.
19:30This room is huge.
19:31It has enough space for all of your friends.
19:33Or, uh, yourself.
19:34And then check which gaming consoles came with your room.
19:36I've got a PS4 and Xbox in mind.
19:38Now you can head to the lobby and pick out whichever games you want for your room.
19:42They have basically every game imaginable here.
19:44All right, got my favorites.
19:46If you get bored, you can even go play in the arcade.
19:49In here, they have all the classics on 25 different machines.
19:53There we go.
19:54Or go check out the PC gaming lounge.
19:56It's filled with super advanced gaming PCs.
19:58You look like the saddest stormtrooper I've ever seen.
20:01Simple room, but you can never get bored here.
20:03But back in Dubai, the city is so hot that it's pretty crazy that you can go sledding today
20:07in a massive, super cold, indoor snow mountain.
20:11And my hotel tonight happens to have a perfect view of the ski slopes.
20:14This view is ridiculous.
20:19Your bed lets you watch everyone having fun in the snow.
20:21Your room has a fireplace.
20:23It's not actually a fireplace.
20:25It's actually not hot or warm at all.
20:28There's an entire dining room.
20:29And you even get a butler to help you with whatever you need.
20:32He told me the snow mountain has some insane air conditioning.
20:35They keep it a cool 25 degrees all year round.
20:37Before you can go touch the snow, you have to suit up and say hi to these creepy robot reindeer.
20:42Meet the penguins.
20:44They say, and it's all your room.
20:47Spacey.
20:48Uh.
20:48Once you're inside, you can grab hot chocolate.
20:51Or say hi to the penguins.
20:52By the way, fun penguin fact.
20:54The male will find the female of his choice.
20:58When he finds her, he will then sing to her and still be rejected by the female.
21:04Okay.
21:05Bruh.
21:06Here's what the snow looks like.
21:08Can't really make a snowball.
21:11No way.
21:12There's even a private movie theater on the snow mountain that plays the latest movies all day for you to watch while having fun.
21:18Speaking of fun.
21:19Here we go.
21:20Woo.
21:22Woo.
21:23Oh, that was incredible.
21:26A ski mountain in a desert is just mind-blowing.
21:29But next, an ancient home in Switzerland.
21:31It went viral on TikTok for having a bathroom that moves.
21:33Yeah, your bathtub literally can travel.
21:35But obviously, people have so many questions.
21:37People think it would be embarrassing and over their cafe tables.
21:41And it's true.
21:41This is your bath and this is where people will eat at the cafe.
21:44But first, let's see the room.
21:46It's just one big room that costs around $300 a night.
21:49What do you think?
21:49It's so cute.
21:51So, this is called the Cupid room.
21:52Big bed.
21:53Super nice.
21:54Tiny TV.
21:55On.
21:56On.
21:57On.
21:58On.
21:58On.
21:58This will be the end.
22:00I think it's broken.
22:01And this is your entire bathroom.
22:03There's no shower.
22:04You have to use the crazy bath anytime you want to clean yourself at all.
22:08Which brings us to the main attraction of the room.
22:10Your moving bathtub.
22:11I guess we checked in on the same day as like an event or a party.
22:13Which means there are a ton of people here.
22:15So, all of these people would see you naked taking a bath.
22:18Free show.
22:19Sam got in just to test it out.
22:21And of course, everyone outside looked at her.
22:24Probably not the environment you'd want to take a bath in.
22:26Stress inducing.
22:28Look at the audience I just had.
22:31That is crazy.
22:33There were so many people out there.
22:35Like in the TikTok, nobody was there.
22:37Luckily, a few hours later, everyone left.
22:39I just really wanted to explore the property.
22:41Check out what I found.
22:41Back here, there's like a whole maze garden.
22:43That is so fancy.
22:45What the heck?
22:45And then when you walk through the maze garden, you can get to this mini football.
22:49Field, where I totally missed.
22:51An old cable car.
22:52I guess you can have secret meetings in here.
22:55And the hotel even has a swimming pool.
22:56But now it was really quiet, which means I could try taking a bath in peace.
23:00It was a little weird at first.
23:02But honestly, I was enjoying myself.
23:05I could get used to this.
23:06But someone did say, imagine bath water splashing on your croissant.
23:10Which definitely could happen.
23:11You're basically right on top of where people could be eating.
23:13I feel like I'm probably fine not to fall out.
23:16And I don't think you could get stuck out here.
23:18So far, so good.
23:19I loved it so much, I went again the next morning.
23:21It's so peaceful out here.
23:23Feel the wind.
23:25But I still don't agree with Happy on TikTok, who wants a toilet version.
23:28I don't think that one would be great.
23:30Super unique hotel room concept.
23:31Easy eightier.
23:32So this, this is possibly the cheapest capsule hotel in Tokyo.
23:36It costs just $21 a night, but the reviews aren't great.
23:40Robert says he would give zero stars if he could.
23:42Wow, okay, Robert.
23:43And Mike says disgusting.
23:45Literally impossible to sleep.
23:48So obviously, I had to check it out for myself.
23:50But I'm not spending the night.
23:51First impressions, it's definitely a little outdated.
23:54But you do still get a TV, and it's kind of amazing you can stay in the heart of Tokyo for just $20.
23:59So maybe it's not that bad.
24:01Come on.
24:01It was cheap and safe, but a little old.
24:03Anyways, the next hotel is the most viral resort I've ever seen.
24:06It went viral on TikTok with 68 million views and looks like a jungle paradise.
24:11But people who see it online think it's too good to be true.
24:13Like this guy on TikTok, Justin J.
24:14He commented,
24:15Now give me the reality version.
24:17So I came all the way here to Thailand to see if it's really as beautiful as TikTok makes it look.
24:21Your room might be normal, but you get a view of the most magical hotel swimming pool you'll ever see.
24:25That is crazy.
24:26In real life, it looks just like the TikTok.
24:28You can rent these glass boats for free to explore it, or even get breakfast in the pool.
24:33There's only one thing that let me down.
24:34It's definitely cold, but there'd be no way to heat a pool this large.
24:38It's basically a river.
24:39But by far the most shocking thing about this place is just how cheap it is to stay here.
24:43Because just one night costs only $52 right now.
24:46That pool is on another level.
24:47But basic room, so B-tier.
24:49So we've stayed in a crane.
24:51We've had time to game.
24:52But tonight, a hotel in a plane.
24:56I'm sorry.
24:56I'm starting to go crazy.
24:57I need to sleep.
24:58I've been going to so many hotels.
24:59I'm going insane.
25:00Tonight's hotel is a real airplane that's been converted into a five-star hotel.
25:03It's actually at an airport, so you can watch planes take off all day.
25:06You even have red carpet stairs to walk up to the plane.
25:10They've really turned this plane into a super nice home, basically.
25:13You have not one, but two couches.
25:15Pretty nice.
25:17TV number one.
25:18Coffee maker.
25:19Your dining table.
25:20TV number two.
25:21A hot tub bath.
25:22And maybe the most insane thing about this whole plane.
25:24The plane has a sauna.
25:26I've never seen a hotel room with its own sauna.
25:28Not to mention a plane.
25:29At the back of the plane is your bed with a heart made of rose petals.
25:33This would normally be so romantic.
25:38So my favorite room is in the front of the plane.
25:40This is the flight deck.
25:41It's been restored to basically look exactly how it would look if you could actually still fly the plane.
25:46Watch it actually take flight.
25:47I've always wanted to do this.
25:48This is so much fun.
25:50What's crazier than the plane itself is the amenities it comes with.
25:52If you're ready, we can just start the engine.
25:54Yeah, I'm ready.
25:55Ready?
25:55This is Dick.
25:57He's a genius pilot and can take hotel guests on private flights around the Netherlands.
26:00On this small plane.
26:02So you're a famous YouTuber?
26:04Not famous, but I am a YouTuber, yeah.
26:07You get to see a lot of farms and...
26:11Wait, are those sheep?
26:12Thank you so much, Dick.
26:13Yeah, thank you.
26:14Maybe not the weirdest, but I'll never forget this thing.
26:17Some hotels can make you feel like a kid again.
26:20It's an entire Minions hotel room.
26:23What the heck?
26:24There's a giant alligator couch, Minion beds, a ceiling Minion, a TV that plays Minions movies
26:29all day, Minions mirror, all the family portraits.
26:33But if you're not the biggest Minions fan, there are other options.
26:39It's a huge Pokemon-themed hotel room.
26:42This Norlax is bigger than I am.
26:44There's like a dining room area.
26:46Okay, this was a good idea.
26:47I cannot believe this place actually exists.
26:49Of course, it comes with a whole living room, a TV, and even your own mini kitchen.
26:53My 12-year-old self would love these rooms.
26:55But now we're staying in the London Zoo.
26:57So basically, the London Zoo has lion lodges.
27:00Little cabins you can rent for the night in the middle of the zoo, right next to the lions.
27:04We'll check into this $400 a night lion cabin in a second, because first...
27:07These are the lions next door.
27:11The zoo keeps two lions here, with the goal of them having cubs.
27:14Aria's here.
27:15Aria, sweetie.
27:17And luckily, I met someone who knows a lot about them.
27:19She knows me.
27:20She recognizes you.
27:21You see, she does this with me.
27:22Aria, darling.
27:24How are your sweetness?
27:25What's her name?
27:26Aria.
27:27Aria.
27:27And the male?
27:28B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:29B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:29B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:30B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:30B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:30B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:30B-H-A-R-N-U.
27:30B-H-A-R-N-U is a very, um, talkative lion.
27:37He'll really just go on and on and on.
27:55A couple years ago, B-H-A-R-N-U and Arya got put together to have cubs.
27:58But they haven't yet.
28:00And I'm no lion expert, but it does kind of look like he's a little afraid of her.
28:04Aria!
28:04Why did you slap Banu in his face just now?
28:07You horrid girl.
28:10Aria!
28:10What is your name, by the way?
28:12Manjuma.
28:12Juma.
28:13How many years have you been coming here?
28:14Because clearly you have so much knowledge about the animals.
28:1623 years already.
28:17But I've always liked animal behavior.
28:19So, of course, I had to show them my tiger hotel.
28:21And this is my hotel room right in front of the tigers.
28:24Wow, look at that.
28:25Yeah.
28:25Look what that is.
28:26And so all night, he's like, right there.
28:28I've seen a bear.
28:30He's looking for her.
28:32He's like, he fell asleep.
28:34He fell asleep.
28:34He's like, where did she go?
28:37There's definitely a lot of pressure on Banu's shoulders.
28:40You good, Banu?
28:41What are you doing?
28:43There's an entire army of penguins here.
28:45Going off to battle.
28:46Or to a snack time.
28:48What's up, guys?
28:49Ancient tortoises.
28:50Oh, no, he's running away.
28:52Slow down.
28:53They even have a Komodo dragon and a real sloth.
28:56Hello.
28:57And some interesting exhibits.
29:00This zoo gets a lot more wild at night.
29:02But first, let's see our hotel room.
29:03It's a pretty simple room, but honestly, it's all I need.
29:06Bed and a couch and a bathroom.
29:09These lion lodges might not be as luxurious as the other two I've stayed in.
29:12But you get a private tour and can listen to the lions roaring all night.
29:16Banu really was feeling talkative.
29:18You get to meet the zoo's alpaca named Alpacachino.
29:23A super energetic armadillo.
29:25And you get to see where they prepare meals for the animals.
29:29Good morning.
29:30Getting to hear a lion roar all night was magical.
29:32But next, let's try a quieter animal hotel.
29:34It's actually in the most interesting park in Japan.
29:37So this is where my hotel is tonight.
29:38It's called Nara Park.
29:39And over a thousand wild deer live here.
29:41And they've gotten just used to being around humans.
29:44I feel like I'm in a Disney movie right now.
29:46Bambi?
29:47They've even been trained to bow to ask for food.
29:49So if you go up to them with snacks, they will bow and then expect something from you.
29:53But there's only one problem.
29:54A few years ago, over a hundred people got injured by the deer here in Nara.
29:58So gotta be a little careful.
30:03There are signs everywhere warning you about the deer.
30:06They bite, kick, knock you down, and could headbutt you.
30:09But for the most part, they're completely nice and chill.
30:12They'll even hide from the rain with the tourists.
30:14And this is where I'm staying.
30:16It's called the Deer Park Inn.
30:17And there are literally deer right outside the front door.
30:20I don't have any food for you.
30:21Sorry.
30:22I paid just $28 for my room tonight.
30:24And it's pretty simple.
30:25So there's no TV.
30:26There's no nightstand.
30:28You just get two beds.
30:29Little table.
30:30But I kind of love it.
30:31I've been going to so many weird hotels.
30:32It's kind of refreshing to have something so simple and basic.
30:36In such a ridiculous park.
30:37And the best part?
30:39I can see the deer from my window.
30:41I cannot believe this is real.
30:42I spent my time just hanging out with the deer and relaxing.
30:46It was nice to slow down.
30:47There's no other place in the world like Nara.
30:49Just like our next resort.
30:50The only hotel in the world with a red swimming pool.
30:53It's not like any other hotel in a few ways.
30:55See, this hotel is called the Library.
30:57And that's because it literally has a library.
30:59If you're a guest, you can check out a book, bring it back to your room, and use it while
31:02you stay here.
31:02You can even check out DVDs.
31:04I'm surprised DVDs still exist.
31:06Oh yeah.
31:07Classic.
31:08What?
31:09But of course, the red swimming pool is the main attraction.
31:12This looks so weird.
31:14Swimming in this pool is so much fun, but things start to get a little weird once you check
31:17into your room.
31:18The library is definitely an interesting name and theme for a hotel.
31:21It means they make all of the rooms and buildings plain white.
31:24It really sticks to the hotel's book theme.
31:26This room is so blank.
31:27Why is there a white painting on the wall?
31:30TV.
31:30There's like an orange couch on the floor.
31:32It's the only thing with color in the entire room.
31:34Honestly, this hotel is pretty fancy.
31:36There's only one thing that kind of bothers me.
31:39All over the hotel are these white reading mascot statues, and I just don't really understand
31:44why.
31:45And I swear it just gets way worse at night.
31:47Honestly, I don't even want to walk around the hotel.
31:49I just know they're going to come alive and start walking around when everyone's asleep.
31:52I mean, tell me this doesn't look like a scene right out of a horror movie.
31:57Really beautiful hotel, but pretty strange too.
32:00I've been to capsule hotels in Japan, Singapore, but these, these are definitely the smallest
32:06I've seen.
32:06You basically just get a reclining chair, or you can upgrade to get an entire room.
32:11I stayed in one just like this in Japan, and it's really a perfect amount of space for
32:15cheap.
32:15Cool hotel, but not that weird, so F.
32:17And when I stay in random hotels around the world, I use Surfshark to keep my computer and
32:21phone safe.
32:22It's a VPN that keeps all your important stuff like passwords away from sketchy Wi-Fi networks.
32:26Like, have you ever tried to stream your favorite show only to find out that it's not available
32:29in the country you're in?
32:30With Surfshark, you can easily change your location and unlock content that might only be available
32:34on Netflix in another region.
32:36Plus, did you know a lot of airlines can charge more for flights depending on what country
32:39you book them from?
32:40So Surfshark can literally make traveling cheaper.
32:42They offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, so there's literally no risk in trying it if
32:46you decide to cancel.
32:47Secure your privacy with Surfshark.
32:49Enter coupon code DRUEDOZ for four months extra at surfshark.com slash druedoze.
32:53Next, in Japan, we're trying a Godzilla hotel.
32:55The first thing you see is a Godzilla statue and a sign pointing to the giant Godzilla head they
33:00have on their roof.
33:00But wait until you see our room, because right when you walk in, you see your own personal
33:04Godzilla statue.
33:05It's pretty realistic and literally taller than me.
33:09That's embarrassing.
33:10Moving on, here's the bedroom, where a giant Godzilla claw is right above your bed.
33:14I mean, this room just looks crazy.
33:16But next to your bed, there are props from real Godzilla movies, like this one from 1995.
33:20Nice seating area.
33:22And your TV.
33:23There are even these Godzilla control buttons next to your bed, and I have no idea what they
33:27do.
33:27So, of course, I just tried pressing it, and immediately the entire room went dark, with
33:31red lighting and creepy sounds.
33:33I guess the button turns on your Godzilla.
33:36What?
33:37But I'm always on the hunt for Japan's weirdest robots.
33:39You see them on the sides of buildings, trying to get you into stores.
33:43He just claps.
33:44Or trying to sell specific products.
33:45In Japan, when you're just walking around shopping, you'll run into helpful robots.
33:49This one literally teaches you how to use this water stand.
33:51Honestly, it's pretty effective at making me want to buy it.
33:53I even found this baby ChatGBT robot.
33:56Pretty sure it's the same one from the Dinosaur Hotel.
33:58I found those baby robots that cost a ton of money for some reason.
34:00They even have information robots.
34:02This is Arisa.
34:04It's like if ChatGBT was a real robot.
34:06Arisa's job is to help you find your way around Tokyo.
34:08This robot works in any language, and can answer almost any of your questions about getting
34:12around Japan.
34:12You can even try asking it questions with a microphone.
34:15What is your favorite color?
34:16Honestly, this one moves so well, it's really creepy.
34:18Even at Disneyland in Japan, you find amazing robots.
34:21Like this singing Rapunzelbot from the top of this tower.
34:23This one blew me away.
34:27Not to mention this crazy illusion where this beast robot turned back into a human.
34:32I have no idea how they did that.
34:36But it's time to move on because our next hotel room is for people who really love airplanes.
34:40It's literally themed after Japan's biggest airline.
34:42There are many planes in the room and real first class seats.
34:45This room is at the airport, giving you a perfect view of all the planes taking off.
34:49Like people are boarding this flight right here.
34:51You can sit in your first class seats to watch the flights, or even see if your luggage
34:54can fit on your plane.
34:56Honestly, I think I'm small enough to fit.
34:59Both hotels were nice.
35:01I prefer Godzilla though.
35:02Next, we're staying in a town stuck in medieval times.
35:04This is Rotenberg.
35:06Here, locals come every year to celebrate their town's ancient past.
35:08There are horses, knights, goats, and sword fighting.
35:15Anyways, this town is literally over a thousand years old.
35:18And still today, it looks almost exactly how it did hundreds of years ago.
35:21I feel like I'm in a Disney movie.
35:23It really makes you feel like a time traveler because there are old-timey bands that also
35:27serve food, wood shopping practice, medieval dances that everyone loves,
35:32and old-timey shops selling ancient clothes.
35:36So I had to grab a hat.
35:37I paid about 20 euros and, uh, oh yeah.
35:40Now I feel like I blend in.
35:42But I really came for this, my hotel tonight.
35:44It's 700 years old and originally used to be some fancy house.
35:47And this is our room.
35:49This is a really cool big bed, old-timey phone, and a chandelier.
35:53But before bed, there's more we have to see, like a blacksmith shop.
35:56This was built in 1340.
35:58This is Marcos Tome.
35:59It's one of the oldest buildings in the entire city.
36:02And what does that?
36:05And probably my favorite store ever, a medieval shop.
36:08Inside, you'll find suits of armor, fake knives, swords, cloaks, gauntlets, helmets, and these guys.
36:15That is the saddest night I've ever seen.
36:18What's wrong?
36:19And I found this cape that literally costs $300.
36:22Who is paying that?
36:23Really cool town, but maybe not the weirdest hotel.
36:26But, uh, next we're heading to a resort that's strange in so many ways.
36:29Although we're still here in Malaysia,
36:30my next hotel recreates medieval Europe.
36:32This is crazy.
36:33This entire town really is just one big hotel.
36:36Like, all of these buildings are just filled with hotel rooms.
36:38And some interesting things you can do when you stay here, like a VR room.
36:42I was just shocked to see this in a castle resort.
36:45There's also a private indoor theme park ride for $3.
36:48The only problem was that it was a little rough.
36:50This ride is so aggressive.
36:54But of course, that's just the beginning of the random surprises here.
36:57They've even built their own mini Jurassic Park tour.
37:01It costs $2 to enter.
37:02And I was like the only one there in like a jungle of old dinosaur robots.
37:06What is going on?
37:07I kind of love how random this place is.
37:09So one thing just threw me off.
37:10Though it is really quiet here.
37:12Like, this is the main area.
37:13And a concert was scheduled for 6 o'clock.
37:15And I was the only one in the audience.
37:20It just felt pretty strange.
37:21So I think now is about the time to go see our room.
37:24Tour time.
37:25First, there's your dining table.
37:26Plenty of space to sit, work, eat.
37:28I love that they have these warnings everywhere about wild monkeys.
37:31They want to make sure you always close the doors and the windows to prevent monkeys from getting in the room.
37:35Pretty big living room area.
37:37TV and a window to the courtyard.
37:39This really old school vintage bathroom.
37:42And of course, the bedroom.
37:43It's got a bed and nightstand.
37:44What more do you want?
37:45But the best part?
37:46You get your own private balcony.
37:48This is huge.
37:50And for one night here, I only paid around $60, which is a really good price considering how big of a room you get.
37:55But when it's time to eat, you only have a couple options.
37:57There are not a ton of restaurants here in the hotel.
37:59And the ones that are open don't have the best reviews.
38:01Like, there's two open and they both have less than three stars.
38:04I just ordered meat pizza and water.
38:07Should be fine.
38:08Right?
38:10Looks good.
38:11I'll be honest.
38:12It was not great.
38:14This resort felt like a dream.
38:18But moving on.
38:18This is the worst hotel in the world.
38:21Seriously, there's a real book on Amazon all about it.
38:23Welcome to the most horrible hotel in town.
38:26It's been voted the worst in Amsterdam by its own management.
38:30And still today, people say it's pretty bad.
38:32Mertha says, do not stay here.
38:34My bed was a little weird.
38:35So I'm here to see if the beds really are a little weird.
38:38The halls definitely make you feel like you're walking in a prison.
38:41Let's see how bad this is going to be.
38:45Here's my room.
38:46It doesn't have much.
38:48You have a bed and a chair.
38:49That's it.
38:53I don't think I see anything gross.
38:56I guess the room is fine for a night of sleep.
38:58It just gives you this weird feeling.
39:03But I survived the night.
39:04Giving this an F for obvious reasons.
39:07Welcome to my next hotel.
39:08It's basically a giant coconut floating in the middle of the water.
39:11It reminds me of Patrick's house from SpongeBob.
39:14Let's see what's inside.
39:15Your room is pretty simple with a bed right in the center.
39:17Here's your desk and office area.
39:19A small little kitchen for you.
39:21But by far, easily my favorite thing about this entire hotel.
39:24You can take one step outside to chill in your lounge net.
39:27Or of course, jump in the water.
39:31One of the only problems when you stay here is that the entire complex is literally floating.
39:35You're basically on a boat.
39:36So if you get seasick, maybe not the choice for you.
39:39So it's now 4.30, so almost dinner time.
39:41And the nearest restaurant is way over there.
39:44Over there somewhere.
39:45So of course you need a boat taxi.
39:47So this restaurant, the only way to get there is on a boat.
39:50On a boat, yeah.
39:50Wow.
39:51Obviously, it's a seafood restaurant with tons of tables.
39:54And you even get a tour of their fish farm from this funny guy, Arif.
39:57They have a horseshoe crab, a puffer fish that can't actually puff.
40:00These aggressive guys.
40:02And even a shark named Isabella.
40:06Wow.
40:07It's like a dog.
40:08It's very rare you can go to a restaurant where you can pet a shark at the restaurant.
40:12You don't see that all the time.
40:14Well, now I can say I stayed in a coconut.
40:15And next, back in Japan, we're going camping.
40:18Inside.
40:19First things first.
40:20Yeah, obviously, instead of a bed, you have a tent.
40:22There's a sleeping bag instead of a blanket.
40:24Feels like I got to tell some scary stories or something.
40:26The living room.
40:27Plenty of room for you and all your friends.
40:29Or in my case, just me.
40:32There's a hammock you can relax in.
40:33Honestly, I would be comfortable just sleeping on this.
40:36You might ask, where's the TV?
40:37You got a movie projector in your room.
40:39This is the life.
40:41Every hotel room should have something like this.
40:43If it's not clear, the idea of this place is pretty simple.
40:45Basically, you're in Tokyo, the biggest city in the world.
40:48So a place like this makes you feel like you're out in nature, camping.
40:51Even though you're really in the world's largest city.
40:54Moving on.
40:54At this point, I've stayed in so many different capsule hotels.
40:57But I've never seen one with a lobby nearly this cool.
41:00This hotel has a movie theater in the common area.
41:03So these are all the capsules.
41:05First, check into your room.
41:07The capsules here are pretty boring.
41:08It's literally a bed in a wooden box.
41:10But you can spend your free time in front of the massive movie screen in the lobby.
41:14And you can even rent the theater to play whatever movie you want.
41:17Japan really knows how to make the most comfortable hotels.
41:19And more.
41:20Next, I found these famous transparent bathrooms in public.
41:23All of the walls are glass so everyone can see inside.
41:25This looks so wrong.
41:27Until you lock the front door.
41:29Then instantly you'll have privacy.
41:30But when you leave, they become transparent again.
41:33Imagine it stopped working while you're sitting on the toilet.
41:35Wouldn't be great.
41:36I even learned Tokyo has a robot museum by this massive Gundam robot.
41:40Inside they have realistic androids that can move.
41:42And the creepiest robot I've ever seen.
41:45It uses AI and these webcams to copy any movement you make in front of it.
41:54It's time to check into our hotel tonight.
41:56It's in a library.
41:57A capsule hotel surrounded by comics and manga.
42:00Inside they have basically every book you might want to read.
42:03So just look around, find a book you like, and head to your capsule to relax.
42:07Oh, okay.
42:08Time for a room tour, pillow, blanket, hangers for your clothes.
42:13And you get just enough space to read.
42:15A lot of you guys have told me in the comments that you're just too claustrophobic for a capsule hotel.
42:19And yeah, I really get that.
42:20Especially with ones like this where you get almost no space.
42:23Genius concept for a capsule hotel, but it was a little hot in there.
42:26Welcome to Little Rock, Arkansas.
42:28We're here to visit one of the craziest Airbnb listings I've ever heard of in my life.
42:32It's a luxury underground nuclear missile complex.
42:37It's also on a farm.
42:39From the outside, you'd never know anything is here.
42:41It just looks like a hole in the ground.
42:42They built this bunker in the 60s to be able to launch a nuclear missile in case of war.
42:46Workers lived here underground 24 hours a day on alerts.
42:50It was even designed to withstand a nuclear blast, which is why the front door is literally 6,000 pounds.
42:55Anyways, now it's my hotel for the night.
42:57You enter through this cool tunnel and bam, this is the living room.
43:00It's technically the middle floor.
43:02There's some beds, a projector screen, and even some whiteboards.
43:05So the best part of the whole unit might be right here, the kitchen.
43:08Plenty of cabinet space, water.
43:10Wait, check out this fridge.
43:12No way.
43:13But that's not even the best part.
43:15It's also the movie room.
43:17You know we watch in Shrek.
43:19You're a monster!
43:20And of course, when you have a movie screen all to yourself, well...
43:24Come on.
43:24Hey, I'm gonna name you Porky.
43:26Never mind.
43:27You're my lunch.
43:28I had to.
43:29You might ask, Andrew, what if there's an emergency?
43:31But what if a bear comes down there and you're suddenly trapped underground with a bear?
43:35I don't know.
43:35Well, you have the emergency exit.
43:38There's a ladder that can take you right to the top.
43:40It would just be a really long climb.
43:42Also, I forgot to mention, you can change the lights in every single room to whatever you want.
43:47Just use the tablet to choose your favorite color.
43:49Everything is red.
43:50But seriously, it cannot be overstated just how cool this movie room is.
43:53We created Willy Wonka's chocolate factory in real life.
43:56I want the chocolate factory.
43:58Also, I need to find the bathroom.
43:59Where is it?
44:00Up the stairs is the bedroom.
44:01It has a fireplace that's actually super comfortable.
44:04And because the top floor is shaped like a dome, there's a pretty noticeable echo.
44:07Hello?
44:09Hello?
44:10Echo?
44:12I'm underground.
44:13Check out the bed.
44:15This is definitely the most comfortable underground nuclear missile complex I've ever been in.
44:20So I paid around $400 to stay here.
44:22And while that is a lot, the bunker is freaking huge.
44:25Like five other people could have stayed here with me comfortably.
44:28Plus, how often do you get to stay at a nuclear missile bunker?
44:31I think it's worth it.
44:31Okay, you'll never believe this.
44:33There's literally a bathroom in the walls.
44:35You just flip the switch and it will pop out.
44:37This would be such a good hiding place.
44:39It's even got a shower and everything.
44:41So I definitely noticed that it's kind of hard to tell how much time has passed.
44:44Like ever since I came down here, I've just been doing random things.
44:47I didn't even realize it was now 9 p.m.
44:49So because we are in like the middle of Arkansas, there's not necessarily Uber Eats here.
44:52So I had to buy some snacks in advance.
44:54Like overpriced Starbucks gourmet popcorn.
44:57But it's okay, at least we have popcorn.
44:59It felt like I was living in a sci-fi movie.
45:01And the only time I slept underground.
45:02My next hotel is easily one of my favorites that I've ever found on Airbnb.
45:06A neighborhood of mushroom houses.
45:08Yep, when you stay here, you get your own little mushroom cabin house for a night.
45:11They cost only about $30 a night.
45:13And you get your own little home on a beautiful green property.
45:15And you'd be surprised by how much they can fit in here.
45:17First room is like a bathroom sitting area room where there's a sink and a concrete couch.
45:24You get a small desk and your bunk beds.
45:26The inside might be small, but you are inside of a mushroom.
45:29So I guess it makes sense.
45:32Nice bathroom.
45:32I never really know what to say about bathrooms.
45:34They're just bathrooms.
45:36I don't know.
45:36They're all the same.
45:38Also, this property is absolutely massive.
45:40There's a little playground.
45:41This cool swing.
45:42More swings.
45:43And when you walk around, you might meet the bunny that lives here.
45:47He's just a little shy.
45:48And of course, there are other weird Airbnbs you can book on this property too.
45:59Like a snail dome.
46:00That one costs over $100 and gives you a bit more space.
46:03But it's important we get some sleep because tomorrow we're going to...
46:07Where are we going?
46:09You'll see in a second.
46:10But first, I'm giving the Mushroom Neighborhood a beat.
46:12Our next hotel has a super unique perk.
46:13This capsule is nice.
46:15It's not huge.
46:16Of course, you just get a bed.
46:17But this room has one of the coolest features I've ever seen in a capsule hotel.
46:21Like an entire projector.
46:22You can watch any video or movie you want.
46:24And using a remote, you can even control the bed to have it transform when you're ready to sleep.
46:29But my next capsule is all about relaxation.
46:31It's dark and peaceful in here and you do get a lot of amenities.
46:34TV.
46:35Side table.
46:36Uh, nice pillow.
46:37Guests even get their own lounge area with free food.
46:40Uh, manga.
46:42And massage chairs.
46:43It took me a second to figure it out.
46:46But they're extremely relaxing.
46:50Let's grab our pajamas and goodnight.
46:52I kind of feel like I could live in capsule hotels.
46:54But let's try something a little fancier.
46:56This hotel room is inside a zoo where you can stay next to polar bears, walruses, or what I chose.
47:02Check out the living room.
47:03You can see tons of brown bears from your couch.
47:06No way.
47:07Only problem is it's expensive.
47:08I paid over $800 for one night.
47:10But I can't believe I'm getting this footage of bears in nature from my hotel room window.
47:15And that's just the beginning of what you get.
47:17Of course, you have your TVs and fancy robes.
47:19And here's bedroom too.
47:21There is just so much space.
47:22I could definitely move here.
47:24Oh my gosh.
47:25This bathroom is insane.
47:27You can watch the bears from the bathtub.
47:29There's even a sauna with a view of the bears.
47:32I can't believe I have this place all to myself.
47:34Luckily, when you stay here, you get 24-hour access to the zoo.
47:37This is the most luxurious zoo I've ever seen.
47:40And there are fancy statues of animals at the entrance.
47:42And here they even have one of the rarest zoo animals in the world.
47:45The white tiger, which is sadly endangered and really hard to find in the wild.
47:49But there's also kangaroos, giraffes, sea lions eating lunch, and a bird from back home in America.
47:57Are you good?
47:58Are they keeping you free?
48:00There's even a jazz band of robot bears.
48:03And tons of different lands to explore, like...
48:06Land of the Cold?
48:07You mean my heart?
48:11You can find the Walrus Hotel in Land of the Cold for about $800 a night.
48:15Or even better, you can stay in the Alaska Hotel,
48:17where your window will look right into the polar bears.
48:20There you get to watch them swim around or just go about their day.
48:23And there's even this hotel lobby area to watch the polar bears and walruses play together.
48:28It felt like I had an entire zoo to myself.
48:30And next, this next spot is technically camping.
48:32Or glamping.
48:34Or at least that's what they claim on the Airbnb.
48:36It's called Le Dome.
48:38Honestly, a fire name. I love that name.
48:41Le Dome.
48:41But this is not your normal dome Airbnb.
48:44Here we are.
48:44This is my next hotel.
48:45Here you get your own mini property with a private pool, patio,
48:49and you stay in this fancy dome hotel room.
48:52You can even go up these stairs to find your own rooftop that you get all to yourself.
48:55One night here costs about $132, which is really good considering how much you get.
48:59And the dome itself is actually really spacious and nice.
49:01First, obviously, your bed in the center of the dome.
49:04Little sitting room coffee table in front of the TV.
49:06Sit here, watch YouTube or Netflix, whatever you're feeling like.
49:11Or my favorite show, Week No Signal.
49:14It's exciting. It gets good near the end.
49:16And you even get a regular bathroom, even though it says it's glamping.
49:19All there is left to do is enjoy the pool. You get all to yourself.
49:22Oh, this is nice.
49:23Okay, well, maybe not all to yourself.
49:25What? Why does he have two mouths?
49:27But that's not the only bubble tent I've stayed in.
49:30Welcome to the bubble.
49:31So this is my hotel for the night.
49:33Although maybe you can't really describe this one as a hotel.
49:36We're basically camping.
49:37But it's an extremely cool bubble tent with a hot tub.
49:40Check out this view.
49:41You can literally see cows.
49:42Let's see what it's like.
49:43You've got to open and close these door zippers really carefully
49:46because otherwise the bubble can literally collapse.
49:48Inside looks basically like any nice bedroom.
49:51Huge bed, beanbag chairs.
49:53There's even a telescope.
49:55Yeah, I couldn't see anything.
49:56Welcome to the dining room.
49:58Here's the shower.
49:59I don't know why it looks like it's out of Star Wars or something.
50:01Oh, this is so relaxing.
50:03I'm not even going to sit up.
50:04Regardless, here's the plan.
50:07Is that a goat?
50:08I am hungry.
50:09I'm going to take advantage of the shop and get some snacks.
50:12Yes, the bubble has a shop.
50:13Then we will begin to start heating up the hot tub.
50:15There's an unspoken rule that if there's a hot tub, you have to use it.
50:18I think pretty much everyone agrees with this.
50:20I found that goat, by the way.
50:21All right, time to eat.
50:22Check it out.
50:23They've got basically every drink you could ask for.
50:26Chips, pretzels, these things.
50:28Stinkle.
50:29And some water.
50:30It works on the honor system, so you just choose whatever you want and pay the piggy bank.
50:33Here's four euros.
50:35Time for some accidental snack ASMR.
50:42Okay, that's enough.
50:45Let's get the hot tub going.
50:46We have to heat it the old-fashioned way, so it might take a while.
50:49We'll start with our wood.
50:50Some kindling.
50:51And we'll get it going.
50:52Oh, it's really going.
50:59I think it's ready.
51:03So this has got to be one of the most peaceful hotels I've ever stayed at.
51:07There's even a flamingo you can hang with if you're lonely.
51:13That was nice.
51:14It is getting dark.
51:17It's now 10 p.m.
51:18The thing is, as it starts to become later, the quiet starts to become creepier.
51:23It's not easy to sleep here.
51:24Did you see that?
51:29I kind of went a little crazy.
51:33But eventually I fell asleep.
51:35Turns out fancy bubble buildings can make camping pretty fun.
51:38Next, we're going to a hotel where every room is different.
51:41You can stay in a playground room, a graffiti room, or this.
51:45A hotel room that's, uh, prison.
51:48This is nice.
51:49You've got your Japanese-style table.
51:51Huge living room.
51:53A big flat-screen TV.
51:54A really simple kitchen.
51:55They're really going with this prison theme.
51:57And of course, the most interesting part.
51:59Your bed is in a golden luxury jail cell.
52:02And the room is definitely well-designed.
52:04I gotta say, this is a really comfortable jail cell.
52:06Is that a golden tiger?
52:08But sadly, we can't stay here forever.
52:09This capsule hotel is all about luxury.
52:13They have capsules and entire first-class cabins for $57 a night.
52:17My cabin is basically a hotel room.
52:19You get a whole bed, a side table, and of course, your own TV.
52:23I wonder what Japanese TV's like.
52:33Uh...
52:33Well, goodnight.
52:36I enjoyed the prison room a little more.
52:38But now let's head over to Amsterdam.
52:39There, I stayed in a train.
52:41It's just an old German train that's now a hostel.
52:43And you can even get a massive room with triple-decker bunk beds on each side.
52:47I'll be honest, the Wi-Fi was not great here.
52:49So I brought along the world's smallest TV for entertainment.
52:52I put a bunch of funny animal videos on there.
52:54This place was cozy, but not as advanced as Singapore's hotel inside the airport.
53:02For just under $200 a night, you get a tiny futuristic room and a TV.
53:06It reminds me of a capsule hotel.
53:07And of course, if you get bored, the airport hotel has robot workers too.
53:11These guys can bring you room service.
53:13Of course, there's way more to this city than robots.
53:15Both were fun, but not too weird.
53:16Unlike this, one of the weirdest-looking hotels on Earth.
53:19It's like if the Hulk took every house in a neighborhood and smashed them all together.
53:23CNN even says it's the most unusual-looking building on Earth.
53:27So you might be surprised that the inside is actually extremely boring.
53:30It's just really normal.
53:32You have a bed, a desk, and a TV with YouTube.
53:35But over in Italy, you can stay here.
53:37It's called the Leonardo Truly Resort.
53:39And it went viral with 28.2 million views on TikTok.
53:42In this room, there's a swimming pool right underneath your bed.
53:45Like a guy basically jumps right from his bed into the pool in one second.
53:48But people on TikTok have some questions that we need to put to the test.
53:51Like, it's cool but scary.
53:53And isn't that super dangerous?
53:54I'm super excited.
53:55If I fall in, I'm bringing you down with me.
53:57Oh, that's great.
54:00Come.
54:01When you first walk in, you kind of feel like you're in a cave.
54:04You can really tell there's like an old 300-year-old building they've turned into a hotel room.
54:08Really tiny ceilings.
54:10Really tiny ceilings.
54:11Yeah.
54:12There's a tiny dinner table.
54:13Another small TV.
54:15A mini fridge.
54:16A bean bag.
54:18Okay.
54:20And your couch.
54:21A little firm.
54:22Nice.
54:24And then the main reason you even booked this room in the first place.
54:27The reason we came.
54:28The entrance to the swimming pool.
54:29Which is now closed.
54:31See, in the TikTok, this glass wasn't here.
54:33You could just drop right down.
54:34But now you have to use this door and walk down the steps.
54:36The water is super blue and the pool itself is pretty big.
54:38Luckily, it's heated and you can even press this button to turn on the fountain, which
54:42spits out super warm water.
54:43You could easily just spend all day down here.
54:45It's really comfortable.
54:46But I am a little sad they closed up the hole in the floor.
54:49It turns out this pool used to be a wine cellar hundreds of years ago.
54:52And this entire property is super old.
54:54You'll even find these weird huts everywhere.
54:55And I guess people in this part of Italy have lived in them for hundreds of years.
54:58Our room has one.
54:59And there's one right by the hotel restaurant.
55:01We are the only ones here.
55:03They're missing out.
55:04Hotel staff brought us a super fancy lunch and explained everything.
55:08You have capocollo.
55:09And these are crackers with dry fruits.
55:11This is a mousse with ricotta forte cheese.
55:13And this is a salami with selvatic caramel inside.
55:16For dessert, they even told us to pick from the hotel's private strawberry garden.
55:19But were they actually good?
55:30Whoa.
55:31They're so good.
55:32That's like the best strawberry I've ever had.
55:35We even found a lemon tree by our room.
55:37These are not your normal lemons.
55:38Oh my god, they smell so good.
55:40What's it smell like?
55:42A kangaroo.
55:44A lemon.
55:46But because of the gardens, dinner here is apparently incredible.
55:49They said dinner is an emotional, unique taste experience.
55:52Emotional.
55:53How is it emotional?
55:54Maybe it's so good we'll cry.
55:56I have high expectations for this.
55:57Me too.
55:58But at first, you'll just have a snack on their fresh bread.
56:00Does bread make you emotional, Sam?
56:02Emotional because it's taking so long for your room to get a lot.
56:06Tuna tartare is your appetizer.
56:08Then you get ragu pasta, fish and mussels, and a random cube of watermelon.
56:13I was confused.
56:15It just tasted like watermelon.
56:17And some mousse to end your day on.
56:18The food is really good, but it didn't feel emotional.
56:21I would literally live in that swimming pool room.
56:23Moving on.
56:23The capsule hotels here are huge.
56:25You get an entire queen-size bed.
56:27I've actually stayed in a lot of capsule hotels over the last year, and I really think this
56:30one might actually be the best.
56:31You can change the lights with an app on your phone.
56:33There's a Bluetooth speaker built into your room, and basically an entire closet's worth
56:37of space to keep your stuff.
56:39But while a really good capsule hotel in Japan costs around $30 a night, this one costs more
56:43than a normal hotel room.
56:45Why is it so expensive?
56:46I guess you get this cool common room with a bar and ping pong, and there's a cat that
56:49can distract you from your video editing.
56:51But what's the weirdest hotel in the world?
56:53What do you think, Tony?
56:56Getting to sleep next to tigers is something I'll never forget.
56:58Like, literally, I would wake up at 3 a.m., and the tiger would be right there in front
57:02of my window.
57:03The hotel with a traveling bathtub was so strange.
57:06But one hotel obviously stands out as the strangest.
57:09The glass hotel room that's entirely for free where everyone can see you.
57:12Like, I don't know if I've ever slept worse in a hotel before, but it's such a cool
57:14concept that I would definitely rank it as the weirdest hotel in the world.
57:17Now, Tony, can you ask everyone to subscribe, please?
57:21Tony, tell everyone to subscribe.
57:22No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
