00:00This is the world's most insane shopping city, where you can buy almost anything you can imagine.
00:04From stores selling luxury items for pennies, to massive mega malls that have indoor rivers,
00:08I'm exploring the shopping capital of the world to find the craziest products for sale.
00:12Starting with one of the biggest street markets in the entire world.
00:15There are thousands of shops here, selling things like tiny zebras, cartoon rugs, dinosaur helmets,
00:20or some of your favorite sports jerseys for only $3.
00:24Think that it could fit me?
00:25But this street market is just the first of many malls we are exploring in this video.
00:31And here I even found nice sunglasses for just $1.
00:33That's more like it.
00:34There are stores completely packed with every rare sneaker and shoe you could imagine.
00:38And tons of luxury products are for sale that may or may not be real.
00:41This is literally $5.
00:43But not everything here is super cheap.
00:45You can buy giant statues like this for over a million baht.
00:48And you can negotiate for really nice watches.
00:50How much for this one?
00:51$6,500.
00:52$6,500.
00:53How much for one Rolex?
00:55I kind of felt like I was going to get ripped off.
00:58But that's when I met the market's jewelry master.
01:01I'm Jimmy.
01:02Jimmy Drew.
01:02Nice to meet you.
01:03Nice to meet you, sir.
01:04Your English is very good.
01:05Oh, thank you very much, sir.
01:06Jimmy was awesome.
01:07But I think he started to try selling me wedding rings.
01:09Diamond over there.
01:10Natural diamond.
01:11Size and quality.
01:13Some piece bigger but cheaper.
01:14This is natural.
01:16This is natural.
01:16It's a natural between.
01:17I wasn't quite ready to buy a ring.
01:18Thank you, Jimmy.
01:19So instead, for now, I found this $2 rose.
01:22Oh, true.
01:24How did you find it?
01:25But then nearby, we found these giant squid game robots playing the world's largest game
01:29of jump rope.
01:30Of course, the guards were there keeping things safe.
01:33I think.
01:33And of course, you could get in line to play the game.
01:35The rules are simple.
01:36If you touch the giant rope, you get eliminated.
01:38And then this guard will remove you.
01:40They're kind of scary though, too.
01:41So you just have to keep jumping until you win.
01:44Unlike this guy.
01:45Oh.
01:46Yeah, he's out.
01:47And at the street market, you could even buy squid game masks.
01:50I bought a mask for $3, but it wasn't easy to get it on my face.
01:54How do I look?
01:55I feel mysterious.
01:59I can barely see, but I love it.
02:00But we still have a lot of stores to get to.
02:03And our next mall is one of the most unique ones I've ever seen.
02:06This is Mega Plaza.
02:07The world's largest toy shopping mall.
02:09The reviews say Mega Plaza is filled with some of the weirdest stores in the country.
02:13And immediately when you walk in, you'll just see thousands of toys everywhere.
02:16You'll even find this in the entrance.
02:19A huge life-size recreation of Hulk fighting.
02:23That is impressive.
02:24But here there are stores that only sell robots.
02:26Remote-controlled dinosaurs, unicorns, sharks.
02:29Wow, they have toys from Toy Story.
02:31There's just toys everywhere.
02:33There's even a store specializing in pink toys.
02:35This one just creeped me out.
02:37But you can also buy tons of toy vehicles.
02:40Like a $200 toy ATV, a mini BMW, or even Lamborghinis.
02:44This one is $25,000.
02:46Uh, $25,000 because I have a Captain America 1.1.
02:50He was selling a life-size Captain America for less than $800.
02:54Actually, not bad.
02:54There are actually a lot of expensive statues you can buy.
02:57Like this $10,000 Spider-Man suit.
02:59Or this giant Pennywise clown from IT.
03:01Hellion Brain Rot.
03:02I just bought all of them for like $20.
03:04Yes, Tintun.
03:05And this one.
03:06And this one.
03:07And this one.
03:08But there's even a shop that specializes in tiny things.
03:11She sells like mini versions of famous stores like McDonald's, 7-Eleven.
03:15There's a tiny Apple store, Baby KFC, and way more.
03:18So cool.
03:19So I decided to buy the world's smallest McDonald's for about 70 bucks.
03:23I mean, just look at the level of detail.
03:25Thank you so much.
03:26In Thai, how do I say thank you?
03:28Koppong Ka?
03:29Koppong Ka.
03:30Koppong Ka.
03:31That was crazy.
03:32And our next shopping complex is designed to make you feel like you're traveling the world.
03:35This is Terminal 21, which is special because every single floor is designed to make you feel like you're in a different city.
03:41But what's especially cool about this mall is that apparently it has the world's cheapest food court.
03:45So we're about to explore all of the cities here in this mall.
03:47Starting with the Caribbean on the ground floor where there are palm trees, Hawaiian shirts for sale, a pole of fish, and a giant lighthouse.
03:56And then one floor up, you're in Rome.
03:57Wow, Rome is pretty big.
03:59We found a Roman fountain and pretty large statue.
04:02Plus there's fancy Italian architecture and ancient looking signs.
04:05They've actually done a pretty good job in making this feel kind of like Rome.
04:09But go up another flight and suddenly you're in Paris.
04:11And there are paintings of the Eiffel Tower.
04:12But the second floor is Tokyo, where you'll find a Japanese-looking market down this hallway.
04:21There's a back alleyway just like there is in Japan in reality.
04:24Sumo wrestlers are holding the building together, I guess.
04:29And next we're going up to London.
04:31From up here, you can tell how massive this mall really is.
04:34And in London, the British theming is out of control.
04:36Little British telephone boxes.
04:38There's the Queen Guard soldiers.
04:40The bathrooms are designed to look like the London Underground.
04:43There's even an entire store in a two-decker British bus.
04:47And that's when we found this store selling interesting clothes made here in Thailand.
04:50Can I help you outside?
04:51Oh, really?
04:52Yeah.
04:52I guess the shopkeeper saw me looking at these cool shorts.
04:55Oh, what color do you like?
04:56Blue lace.
04:57Okay, I like blue.
05:00What is your name?
05:01Tatnom.
05:02Tatnom?
05:02Yes.
05:03Ah, Drew, nice to meet you.
05:04And this is Sam.
05:05Hi, where do you come from?
05:07America.
05:07Oh, really big country.
05:09Yes, we came a long way.
05:11Thank you so much.
05:12You buy, you buy, you keep me very happy.
05:16Oh, thank you.
05:17Thank you so much.
05:18My son drawing.
05:19Oh, your son draws them.
05:21Yeah, everything my son make, my son drawing.
05:24One chop only.
05:25He's a very good artist.
05:26Yeah, very nice.
05:27Yes.
05:28Yeah.
05:28Okay, thank you so much.
05:29Thank you so much.
05:31Thank you very much.
05:32Good luck, sir.
05:34She was so nice.
05:36She was so nice.
05:36But up next is Istanbul, which has some of the most unique stores in the mall.
05:40You can buy an entire alien for about $10.
05:43You can buy these crazy custom sneakers.
05:45Those are the coolest shoes I've ever seen.
05:47And there's even an all pink Hello Kitty store.
05:49But you'll find my favorite store in the entire mall if you walk down this hallway.
05:52Here, you'll find a store where you can make your own custom hat for only $12.
05:55So for less than $30 total, we got hats with both of our names in Thai.
06:00Awesome.
06:02These are funny.
06:02Thank you so much.
06:03But next to San Francisco, which is where you'll find apparently one of the world's best food courts.
06:07This is the cheapest food court in the world where everything is less than $2.
06:11It's inside Terminal 21 in Bangkok.
06:13And the way this food court works is pretty unique.
06:15First, you get a car that you put all your money on.
06:18And you can always check the balance right here.
06:19Suddenly, we got interrupted by this random guy who just had to share how much he loves eating here.
06:36And it turns out he's right.
06:37There are a lot of options here and almost everything is $1.
06:39That's the biggest soup I've ever seen.
06:45Sam decided to get pho for just over $1.
06:47And this isn't a microwave meal either.
06:49You really get to watch them prepare an awesome-looking soup.
06:52Then you just scan your card to pay.
06:54And lunch is served.
06:56Mmm, chicken rice.
06:57Can I have the number three, please?
06:59I decided to order chicken rice, where you get a plate of delicious chicken, rice, and cucumbers for only $1.14.
07:06Our two meals and the two bottles of water was $3 in total.
07:10What?
07:11And both of our meals turned out really good.
07:13It would literally be cheaper to eat amazing meals here every day than to cook your own food and buy groceries.
07:18I'm pretty sure back home, one tomato costs more than either of our meals.
07:22But our next stop is crazy.
07:24It's brand new and costs around $400 million to build.
07:26And you can tell it's super futuristic and advanced.
07:29There's like an indoor jungle when you first walk in.
07:31And then you pass a giant cat sculpture and a rainbow bridge before you arrive at the coolest-looking food court you'll ever see.
07:37There's so many places to eat here.
07:39You literally get a map of hundreds of options.
07:41These are just the restaurants in the mall.
07:42This isn't even including any stores.
07:44This is like the coolest food court I've ever seen.
07:46There's tons of lights everywhere.
07:48Giant crazy-looking cheeseburgers.
07:50There's a Shake Shack, a KFC, even an Ikea.
07:53It's crazy.
07:54And this is literally just the first level of the mall.
07:57Because if you take these golden elevators, you'll start finding stores that just look ridiculous.
08:01All the stores here are crazy.
08:03And they have really insane storefronts you wouldn't find at any other mall.
08:06Some stores even have forests inside.
08:08I have never seen stores that look like this.
08:10There's even a PlayStation 5 inside this footlock today.
08:13So if you want, you literally can take a shopping break to play video games.
08:16So, of course, that's exactly what I did.
08:18But we also found a shop selling scooter suitcases.
08:21I want one of those.
08:22Yep, for about $1,000, you can buy a suitcase you can ride around on.
08:26And there's a store here selling Thailand souvenirs.
08:27Like these hats.
08:28Or these really fancy, cool pants.
08:31And we even found a store that lets you get a workout in.
08:34You buy something at this store, you literally can shoot on their basketball hoop for 15 minutes.
08:38So I bought a $15 shirt.
08:39And suddenly we had our own private basketball court.
08:42Sam was surprisingly good.
08:44And I kept missing my trick shot until finally...
08:49Yes!
08:51You did it!
08:52And with that, we can go find out what a shopping complex that cost half a billion dollars looks like.
08:56This is our next shopping complex, Scion Paragon.
08:58Inside here are tons of things you would never normally find inside of a shopping mall.
09:02Because immediately when you walk in, you'll find an indoor garden with giant robot butterflies.
09:07This is the best mall entrance I've ever seen.
09:09But somehow that's just the beginning of the crazy technology you'll find in this place.
09:12When you first walk into the mall, there's literally an AI that can answer any of your questions or tell you where to go.
09:17Please select your language and speak into the...
09:19What's the most interesting store in the shopping mall?
09:22For entertainment, Paragon Cineplex on the 5th floor has IMAX and VIP theaters for a great movie experience.
09:29What's 2 plus 2?
09:30Please hold on while I'm checking the information.
09:33You have any other questions?
09:35Just let me know.
09:37Bye.
09:38But I also found a robot janitor cleaning the place.
09:40Really futuristic gaming stores and...
09:42Here if you don't feel like walking, you can even get a private driver to drive you around the mall.
09:46But our first stop is in the basement.
09:48It's called Ocean World.
09:49An entire aquarium in the basement of this mall.
09:52When you first buy your ticket, they take a picture of you.
09:59Considering we're in the basement of a shopping mall right now, this aquarium is huge.
10:03You can even take a glass boat out on a lake in an aquarium on the bottom floor of this shopping mall.
10:08That's an insane sentence.
10:10And the only problem is this aquarium is filled with sharks.
10:12Like, really large sharks.
10:14They give you a life jacket, but I'm still scared.
10:17And it doesn't help that immediately you'll see giant sharks swim right by the edge of your boat.
10:21Her name is Makita and she's the only one here.
10:24The boat has transparent floors so you can see them all the time.
10:26And there are a lot of them.
10:28We have an activity called Shark Dive.
10:30But you dive with the sharks in this tank one more time.
10:33So if you guys are interested, you can contact the information counter.
10:36Yeah, I don't think I'll be signing up for that.
10:37But this is definitely one of the coolest things I've ever done in a basement or a shopping mall.
10:41But next, you can enter this tunnel beneath the shark tank.
10:44And as long as the glass doesn't crack, you can watch the shark swim right over your head.
10:47That is scary.
10:49How does that shark not eat everything in the aquarium?
10:51This would be the worst aquarium ever for the glass to break in.
10:54This is incredible, but there's even more than just an aquarium down here.
10:58Because I ran into a crowd waiting for the penguins.
11:01It's a little crazy that they have penguins here in Thailand.
11:03It is insanely hot here.
11:05But, uh, they're popular.
11:07This poor guy started walking out to see the guests.
11:11And then decided to turn around.
11:12But I guess eventually the penguin family came out to say hi.
11:14So I just went to the gift shop to buy a toy for my dog.
11:17Stegosaurus.
11:19$28.
11:20What?
11:20Penguins for $20.
11:21So I just went with an $18 shark.
11:24Mission accomplished.
11:25But there's still a lot more mall for us to explore.
11:27There are a ton of stores up here selling supercars.
11:29On the second floor of a mall.
11:31You can go to Porsche and buy this car, which costs $6 million.
11:34There's a Maserati store.
11:36This one is $19 million.
11:38Literally across the hall is Aston Martin.
11:41I don't even want to guess how much this one costs.
11:43This is incredible.
11:44Plus there's a Range Rover.
11:45A Rolls Royce.
11:46There's an indoor Tesla dealership.
11:47Selling all the newest Teslas like this one for about $45k.
11:50And then somehow I found myself on the top floor in front of something called Buttery World.
11:54Who would pay to go in this?
11:55With some Googling, I found out Butter Bear is famous and basically Thailand's version of Mickey Mouse.
12:00I never thought I'd be waiting in line to go in a house for a stuffed bear called Butter Bear.
12:05I really have no idea what I'm about to get into.
12:07So I went inside only to find a living room recreation of Butter Bear's house.
12:11It's like the largest bear I've ever seen.
12:13But then I found Butter Bear's kitchen with a stove that's glued together.
12:16And if you walk outside, you'll find Butter Bear's backyard garden.
12:20Complete with a massive Butter Bear head as a flower.
12:23The fact that this is my job is insane.
12:24This is the weirdest job ever.
12:25It's crazy to me that places like this even exist.
12:28There's so much to do inside of one building.
12:29But believe it or not, there's still an even crazier shopping mall we have to get to.
12:32Next, we're going to a mall that cost over a billion dollars to build.
12:36And it's constantly referred to as one of the nicest shopping malls on the planet.
12:39And when you walk in, you can tell this place is on another level.
12:42There are tons of golden statues and fancy designer stores.
12:45Immediately, there's like an indoor forest cafe.
12:48Look up.
12:49We're supposed to walk all this?
12:51We need a jetpack.
12:52No, literally.
12:53The ceiling goes way up there.
12:55The holy grail malls.
12:57This has to be the nicest shopping mall in the world.
12:59They have to have like over a thousand stores here.
13:01It's definitely not the cheapest mall.
13:03But if you're looking for something, you probably can find it somewhere inside this building.
13:06On the bottom floor is the weirdest part of the mall.
13:08Apparently, it's a floating indoor shopping market.
13:11Floating.
13:12Floating.
13:13And that's because there are shops everywhere surrounding this indoor river system.
13:16And they sell all sorts of things for way less like fruits, jewelry, and handmade clothes.
13:21They literally sell everything in here.
13:23It's kind of overwhelming how incredible this is.
13:25I feel like there are thousands of people just here in the basement.
13:27We bought some souvenir magnets and then stumbled on these guys hard at work.
13:31They literally will customize your passport holder for you right after you buy it.
13:35So bad.
13:36And it only costs $3.
13:37So just choose your favorite color, pick your favorite pins, and design your passport holder
13:43however you'd like.
13:44Then just tell the worker your name, and in no time, it'll be done for just a few bucks.
13:48But there's way more crazy things you can do down here, like eat fresh alligator.
13:52But you can also find seafood skewers and these.
13:55Sworkles and spiders.
13:57Sam was in shock anyone would eat that.
13:59And there's a lot more of this mall we have to explore.
14:01But first, just a short drive away, is a dog cafe.
14:05The concept is pretty simple.
14:06For about $10, you can go play with this family of dogs and get a free coffee.
14:10The dogs have definitely been trained to play nicely with the visitors.
14:18But I still couldn't help but feel bad for this one dog that was kept away from the rest.
14:28Basically, he's super nice to humans, but not the other dogs in the cafe.
14:32So we had to spend some time with him and give him some attention.
14:34It was fun, but also a little strange to see so many dogs in a small building.
14:38And I don't know if this little guy was hungry or just really felt like begging for food.
14:41I hope all the dogs get proper love and care.
14:44And I always am a little concerned about huskies,
14:47which are dogs that really should be in cold environments.
14:49Like there's a husky sitting right in front of the fan.
14:52Oh, man.
14:53But I know there's at least one dog that really loves the attention he gets from working at this place.
14:57But back at Icon Siam, there was some unfinished business we had to get to.
15:01Hello.
15:02This tastes good?
15:03Yeah, it does.
15:04Really?
15:05Okay, I'll take one.
15:07Yes, this one?
15:09I mean, I was curious.
15:11This tastes good?
15:13Just eat it like that.
15:22Tastes like teriyaki.
15:23Really?
15:24That's crazy.
15:26Is it good?
15:26It's actually good.
15:27You want to try it?
15:28No.
15:29You want to try it?
15:30Oh, no.
15:33Are you going to finish it?
15:35Why?
15:35You want some?
15:36No.
15:36You're running from my food.
15:40Everyone was shocked.
15:42That little spider was about $15.
15:45It's a spider, but it's a rare snack.
15:47But there was still more of the market we hadn't seen yet.
15:49Like shops selling handmade clothes and these hats.
15:52Is this a hat?
15:53No.
15:53Oh.
15:55I thought this was a hat.
15:56Oh, my bad.
15:57Sorry.
15:58The water cup.
16:00Oh, the water cup.
16:01Oh.
16:03Afterwards, we even found Thailand's largest Starbucks.
16:06It's 13,000 square feet, which is literally the size of multiple homes.
16:10And it can sit over 300 people at once.
16:11There's a giant Starbucks cup that's taller than Sam.
16:15This is the only Starbucks I've ever seen that has shopping baskets.
16:19There's a massive coffee in the room.
16:21Every type of coffee you could imagine from every country in the world.
16:24Plus, they have special mugs and they even sell Starbucks purses.
16:29This is the biggest Starbucks?
16:30Oh, in Thailand.
16:31In Thailand, okay.
16:32In Thailand.
16:32Wow.
16:33And some of the food they serve here is pretty unique.
16:36Look at that egg salad.
16:37It's blue.
16:38It's not spoiled.
16:39I'm sure it's just part of the stomach.
16:42I don't think egg salad's supposed to look like that.
16:44The most expensive food they sell is a full charcuterie board for about $12.
16:47There are even vending machines that sell the world's rarest toys.
16:51Labubus.
16:51They don't look that rare when there's so many in here.
16:54Like, some of these toys literally sell for thousands of dollars.
16:56And this vending machine sells this one plushie for over $100.
17:00How can one soft little toy cost over $100?
17:03Because it's so cute.
17:06This doesn't make any sense.
17:08But, of course, we still ended up getting a couple.
17:11It was so fun exploring the world's craziest shopping malls.
17:13We even got to go around Bangkok in a tuk tuk.
17:15I was able to buy so many weird souvenirs, I had to buy an entire new suitcase.
17:19But now we can fly back to the U.S. to compare Thailand's craziest malls to the weirdest market in America.
17:25This is Swaparama.
17:26It's Florida's largest market.
17:28Every Monday, thousands of people come here to sell the most random things you can imagine.
17:31I've got $100.
17:32Let's see what we can find.
17:33And here people really do sell just about anything.
17:36Like this Egyptian artwork for sale for $20.
17:38Creepy clowns and toys for only $2.
17:42You literally can find anything here for sale.
17:44So I bought a stop sign for $30.
17:46And I used hoverboard for $40.
17:49It's heavy.
17:49There's one tiny shop that sells every soccer jersey you could imagine.
17:53I got a Ronaldo jersey for $30.
17:55But that's when I found my favorite shop, selling rare old video games.
18:00You can buy a PlayStation 2 or the original Game Boy.
18:03Plus there are tons of classic games, although they're not cheap.
18:05Out of curiosity, what's the most expensive thing you have?
18:08Like what's the rarest item you have?
18:09Right now, it might not be the rarest thing here, but the bubble mule.
18:14Oh, the bubble mule.
18:16Wow.
18:16He has like the rarest Pokemon card I've ever seen.
18:19Prices at like almost $600.
18:22Jeez.
18:22And even though I went over budget, there was one thing I had to buy.
18:25I bought the exact same Game Boy and copy of Pokemon I played when I was just a little kid.
18:29Advance that's pretty hard to find.
18:31It's my childhood.
18:32Yo, for real, right?
18:33Yeah.
18:33All right, thank you so much.
18:34You said Jesse, your name?
18:36Yes.
18:36Jesse.
18:37Thank you so much.
18:38So happy to find this.
18:39To me, it's pretty clear.
18:40By far, my favorite part of filming this video was getting to meet amazing people
18:44who really enjoyed running their small shop, selling things they found cool.
18:47To me, it's pretty clear.
