South Australia Deputy Premier and Treasurer sworn in after shock resignations

Tom Koutsantonis has been appointed South Australian Treasurer in a cabinet reshuffle brought about by two resignations. Mr Koutsantonis held the position from 2014 to 2018 and has been minister for transport, infrastructure, energy and mining since Labor came to office in 2022. He was sworn in alongside the new Deputy Premier Kyam Maher. The reshuffle has been prompted by the resignations of former Deputy Premier Susan Close and Treasurer Stephen Mullighan.
