00:01:59so i so we we got together said okay who could we talk to two real experts and the obvious answers

00:02:05were nfl hall of famer jim kelly and frank the tank but not in that order uh no well i'm frank on first

00:02:10it actually was frank first frank first and then who else oh what about the hall of famer

00:02:16the hall of fame quarterback uh so that's gonna be very fun uh okay boys speaking uh first off great

00:02:23to have everybody back how's everyone feeling today great doing great doing slightly above that yeah

00:02:27i'm not gonna lie i feel good i might even feel better than good and it's because we're about

00:02:32to kick off another weekend of excellent college and nfl football i want to talk about some of the

00:02:38quarterback matchups coming up this weekend in college a bit later on as well but let's start

00:02:42with the thursday night game dolphins at bills and i don't know about you boys but to me this game

00:02:50kind of uh at least narratively starts with mike mcdaniel here um it's been a pretty intense

00:02:57fall from grace over the last couple of years yeah if you look where he started where he is now

00:03:02getting blown out by the colts a disappointing loss of the patriots at home last week how much

00:03:08do you think is riding on tonight's game for mcdaniel i think you can't get embarrassed that's the

00:03:13thing because owners hate it they hate it when their team's on national television as the standalone

00:03:18game and they do something stupid that's when an owner will make a decision like i'm gonna fire my

00:03:23coach mid-season if it's like the london game if you get your ass kicked in london like overseas

00:03:27that's embarrassing for the owner especially if it's woody johnson and like all his buddies from

00:03:32ireland and the uk are there in his box with him but yeah owners don't like to be embarrassed on

00:03:36national tv so you can get you can get beaten pretty badly by the colts in week one if it's

00:03:41surrounded by all the other ones yeah to the news things yeah yeah it's like okay that was the worst

00:03:45loss of the week but also you know only one one thirtieth of the nfl watching public sat down and

00:03:51watch this game when it's uh when it's national tv when it's uh prime time when al michaels is falling

00:03:57asleep in the third quarter that's when that's when an owner has to be like okay we might make a

00:04:03a tough choice here and also the glasses that he wears i look listen i like him i think he's a cool

00:04:08guy he's kind of like a different person to have coaching a team i think it's it's good for the league

00:04:13but you can't be you can't be looking swaggy and getting beaten that badly right and your team having

00:04:19having players only meetings after one week you can't be you can't be wearing the cool sunglasses

00:04:24i'm a fan of players only meetings but yeah that's a little early to break the glass i think you touched

00:04:29on a pft i think the problem with mike mcdaniel is that he's he's a nerd but then he's trying to be

00:04:34cool it's an identity crisis it was right in front of our face the entire time that you cannot be

00:04:38both it can't happen you can't be a cool nerd yeah and t-bob you might disagree but i think you gotta

00:04:44you gotta pick a lane i think i think throughout history nerds have tried to be cool there are a

00:04:50million movies about the concept that you can't be both it just can't happen he was he was a nerd

00:04:55that was gonna like reinvent football with razzmatazz plays and like he's a mad scientist with his

00:05:00offense and all that but he's also like look at my watch look at my my glasses look at how cool i am

00:05:05in the press conference you can't be both he has an identity crisis i think that was he's gotta do like

00:05:09like a reverse she's all that yeah he's gotta become more nerdy yeah he's gotta wear the right

00:05:13like the suspenders the pocket i think you're right i think you're right yeah but glass i think

00:05:17the nerd yeah the the reading glasses back on is ben franklin the closest we ever got to like a guy

00:05:22who was both but see i don't think ben franklin was nerdy i don't think he was nerdy i think ben

00:05:26franklin was cool as hell i think he was like probably the coolest person on the planet just about

00:05:31yeah nerds kind of used to be cool like if you're the only guy in america that knew how to speak

00:05:35french back in the 1700s then it's like yeah this guy's swimming in it i mean think

00:05:39about actually like enlightenment era if you could write you know if you could pin a letter

00:05:44and ben could pin uh jer i want to ask you about this real quick i don't mean to cut you off no go

00:05:51this is coming out of left field ben franklin is not the light bulb light guy no that's thomas

00:05:57edison now you could be thinking of the the story of the lightning bolt he invented he invented

00:06:03electricity that's how low the bar was for like what a genius is back then it's like this guy took a

00:06:08kite out in a lightning storm and got electrocuted he's the smartest man yeah he wasn't he wasn't a

00:06:15nerd he was just like your drunk uncle yeah it was jerry do you think he was one of the top four

00:06:20presidents ben franklin yeah i'll be honest i didn't even know he's president okay oh

00:06:26honestly i was on his program you got it right he wasn't okay good so i'm right pft tried to

00:06:32i tried to trap you on live tv on live television yeah that sounds like yeah i think it was top five

00:06:37i really like this foreign policy yeah you know above all uh okay jerry tell me give me the gambling

00:06:45perspective here because what is it 12 and a half still yes and sometimes you see that in the nfl and

00:06:51the instinct's like wow that's a lot for the nfl but then the other instinct is like well it's a lot

00:06:56for a reason but then it's like oh wait but it's a thursday night game it's a divisional game

00:07:00what's your read on this my initial read was blowout um i don't know week three too early to get

00:07:06fired it might be that's the thing that's what i think i think it would be too early to fire

00:07:10mcdaniel but then the the the aspect of a divisional game it's prime time national audience like

00:07:16owners can do crazy stuff after something like that yeah so like the problem is all week i've been

00:07:22blowout blowout blowout and then you get some messages on twitter this guy's sending me analytics

00:07:27going back to 2003 a jacksonville game against buffalo or something like that i don't know

00:07:33he's showing me the dolphins are gonna win this game show in the buffalo yeah and it's like i don't

00:07:39my brain is messed up i don't know what to think i think i'm just gonna go with buffalo i think it's

00:07:44a beat down their defense is so bad yeah and and and i don't think you fired week three but

00:07:49it can set the table you can get pre-fired yes and they can do stuff like they hire a guy to do

00:07:54your job for you and he just kind of sits in your office and in the meetings and you have to know

00:07:59that this guy's actually the real head coach and it could be a sad situation after this it does feel

00:08:04like it's a little bit too early um but i always said like they pay these guys to play football too

00:08:09t-bob they true i mean right well okay so i mean and and as much as that's become kind of a

00:08:15cliche like throwaway line it is true right like the gap between nfl teams is not as large as we

00:08:23perceive it to be a lot of times like college yes college union games you know what's gonna happen

00:08:28it's that's you know any given thursday that other classic cliche right any given thursday any given

00:08:33thursday anything can happen um something else you touched on pft that i completely agree with or i

00:08:38don't know i the thing is i want mcdaniel to succeed because i like his quirkiness yeah i like the bucking

00:08:45of the trends and i feel like he was willing to be a bit out there and now that he's failing

00:08:50our natural instinct is so aggressive it's just uh to crap on him for being out there yeah yeah i

00:08:57agree once and that's what we said when they hired him once things start to go bad if they go bad

00:09:01that's when we're gonna really turn on on mike mcdaniel the only reason i'm hoping that maybe he

00:09:07doesn't succeed is just because it helps to kill that washington redskins football graphic where it

00:09:13shows all the all the great coaches that they had on the team right like it's gonna be tougher to show

00:09:18that that team picture if mcdaniel washes out of the league but yeah he's he's quirky and he's fun

00:09:23and i he seems like a good guy it's a fun story he'll probably get a job being coordinator if this

00:09:28doesn't work out but it's gonna be tough oh yeah i was gonna ask that like what's his landing spot

00:09:32if yeah whether he gets fired after tonight or at the end of the year he'll be an oc mcfay brings

00:09:38him in rehabs him for a summer and yeah and maybe get that coaching job in a few years yeah uh now

00:09:44from the other side of it because obviously the mcdaniel like sometimes we we get caught up in

00:09:49some of the negative but like as as negative as things are in miami it probably could not

00:09:53be more positive in buffalo right now um the massive week one win against the ravens come back

00:09:59making a statement last week domination uh maybe the bills feel a little overconfident you know they

00:10:06they're kind of chilling it's back against the wall the one thing i'd look out for for the bills uh josh

00:10:11is going to be wearing a visor now because he broke his nose last week oh i missed this yeah

00:10:16yeah quarterbacks who wear visors they don't win super bowls well what about jayden and jayden yeah

00:10:22he does unfortunately i was hoping you weren't going to bring that up okay my bad actually no

00:10:26doesn't jalen hurts wear one jalen hurts did yeah so he was he was the first guy to ever wear a visor

00:10:32right okay there we go so okay the visor era you could argue so like visors actually are what

00:10:37it's never been better based on the last false alarm yeah calendar year that's that's what it

00:10:41takes to win a super bowl yeah the the thing about the bills is like their defense might be a little

00:10:45bit banged up you could point to that milano's already hurt that seems like it's a yearly trend

00:10:50unfortunately because he's a great player when he's healthy uh but yeah it doesn't seem like the

00:10:54going into the dolphins don't really feel like they have a chance which is why to jerry's point like

00:10:59i could be easily convinced to bet on the dolphins tonight because i'm yeah i'm so confident that the

00:11:04bills are going to blow him i know it's nfl is these spreads are always so hard when like they're

00:11:10above 10 points it's like this should be just a blowout a route and it seems like sometimes it's

00:11:15not you should go to like the nearest holiday and get the chair that's in the corner in the hotel room

00:11:20yeah to sit on the sidelines watching from that chair did you also see he said something uh i think

00:11:26maybe in that same interview uh he told tyreek hey you just got to look up because i can't throw the

00:11:32ball that far yeah it's something it was in that in that interview i think there was uh yeah that

00:11:37was it was a very very under thrown ball last year and last week and two just straight up said like

00:11:42i don't have the arm strength yeah it was being look two got paid he's being very honest and he

00:11:47seems like a nice i like two of the very nice guy in that clip right there he sounded like a college

00:11:51quarterback that's talking about his favorite team to watch yeah yeah right right like i'm i'd like to

00:11:57get to the point that that guy's at one day that's my role model also is that though like kind of the

00:12:02most relatable that an nfl quarterback has been yeah because like maybe not with like pmt because

00:12:08y'all are have been like number one for forever now but like in almost every other life or profession

00:12:14you just you see guys like okay that guy's better than i'll ever be yeah i mean especially in sports

00:12:20when skip bayless fires off a tweet mid-game i'm like i'll never get there i i can strive for

00:12:25perfection all i want but i'm never going to reach skip's level so well we we've talked about

00:12:29this before t-bob when athletes are well adjusted we actually hate it yes yes exactly so like this

00:12:35is another example of that is like as a human being you're like that's that's pretty cool that

00:12:38to is self-aware that he's probably that he understands you will never be josh allen and that's

00:12:43okay be the best you can be be the best version of tua you can be and i think like his therapist

00:12:48would probably be clapping along and being like that's really good to uh if you're a dolphins fan you're

00:12:52like i want off this ride so badly i hate this so much that my quarterback before we're playing our

00:12:58division rival that's won 13 of the last 14 games is talking about them like you said like it's his

00:13:03favorite team i love watching the bills can't get enough bills football in my life you think two is

00:13:07like one of the top 300 quarterbacks to ever live 300 yeah he's got to be of all time yeah in the history

00:13:13of the world in the history that's pretty good yeah yeah yeah that's great perspective for two to have

00:13:19like hey i'll i'll flip it on you name 300 better all right marcus mariotta joe flacco joe flacco yeah

00:13:27i can go on it's uh you know he's he's thinking realistically yeah and who knows like weird things

00:13:33happen in the nfl you can catch a team sleepwalking i don't know that the bills are going to sleepwalk

00:13:38but any given thursday this is a i mean it's a it's a kb thing he loves he loves bringing it up all the

00:13:42time but yeah and being a quarterback is one of the few professions where if you're the

00:13:4716th best in the world at it you're a failure and people want to kill you you're bum you're bum

00:13:53you're an absolute bum yeah there's maybe about 10 people for being generous that have the

00:13:57physical and mental combination of skills to do it at an acceptable level it's kind of like i always

00:14:03think about the person who finishes eighth in the hundred meters yeah i mean they're they're the eighth

00:14:08fastest person on the planet and we don't know their name we don't care nobody gives them credit

00:14:13and like they're committing their life to it and they're they're well it sucks to be fair do you

00:14:18know the who finished first uh no yeah yeah like no uh i don't know we don't know lyle's doesn't

00:14:26matter it's you saying right right cary richardson uh shout out cary lsu oh yeah it was no lyle's right

00:14:32yeah super close race awesome race and then he trolled the entire nba for yeah y'all are

00:14:38american champs remember when an italian guy won that was like uh four years ago we had an italian

00:14:44fastest guy no yeah no that's a mandela effect there's no way the guy was oh yeah yes what

00:15:49of this weekend is we're going to see a lot of backup quarterbacks right we got jake browning uh we

00:15:53got carson wentz they're going to be going toe-to-toe with one another got mac jones got tyrod

00:15:57taylor tyrod taylor hell yeah dude um i want to start here out of all and then i want to get

00:16:03specifically into wince browning wide receivers but out of the guys we just named who do we trust

00:16:09the most a lot of classic good backups here tyrod journeymen tyrod yeah tyrod stands out to me why

00:16:16is that i think he just fits what the jets do on offense you know like uh with fields being mobile

00:16:21and whatnot you know it's really kind of designed for a mobile guy i don't t-mobile that's what they

00:16:27call him yeah is the excitement i excitement's the wrong word but i'm too stupid and it's too early

00:16:32to come up with another word um for carson wentz based on like kevin o'connell's a great quarterback

00:16:38coach and in carson wentz has been around a while we'll plug him in with this great coach

00:16:43and away we go is it based on jg mccarthy's been so bad that now carson wentz can't be any worse but

00:16:49i feel like there's a little bit of a and again excitement's the wrong word but carson wentz is like

00:16:54the monorail salesman from the simpsons where he travels to all these different towns gets people

00:16:59all worked up for when he comes at the last oh this is going to be exciting yeah by the monorail

00:17:03this is great worked out great in ogdenville and then you're going to watch he's going to ruin

00:17:07everything he's going to he's going to be painful to watch and you're going to be like why did we

00:17:11ever start this guy that he's going to go away again the the excitement about carson wentz and yes

00:17:15i am 100 speaking from this from the standpoint of somebody that was subjected to have carson wentz as

00:17:21starting quarterback for an entire season uh he was almost the mvp yeah at one point yeah and then

00:17:29the kevin o'connell factor it's like maybe he fixed him if anyone can fix him it's probably kevin o'connell

00:17:33but i don't think he's been there maybe you just have to be in the same room and like breathe this

00:17:37yeah how does that work how do how do quarterback gurus work like that is it like a dust do they they

00:17:42sprinkle dust on i mean guys like how do you look at stiken right that that that's how dumb my brain is

00:17:49is i'm just counting kevin o'connell and shane stiken as the same guy yeah because when wins

00:17:55had his most success with stiken he also is a quarterback whisperer now obviously for whatever

00:18:00reason anthony richmond didn't have what stiken needed indiana jones seems to so in that same way

00:18:06i'm kind of fully giving myself over to wincmania did you hear about the practice last week when jj had

00:18:11his baby no ball didn't touch the ground wow really ball didn't touch the ground from wins didn't touch

00:18:18the ground he's going to have these long socks his knees are going to look super skinny he's going

00:18:22to go out he's going to look the part and uh then it's going to get really weird and very sad to

00:18:26watch already fell into the trap i bet him already yeah yes and this is what he's played on a different

00:18:31team every year and uh it's i want to believe in in carson i can i can very easily fall back into that

00:18:38trap if he plays good for like one drive i can be like okay he's fixed um but it's yeah it's going to

00:18:43be it's going to be tough i actually trust jake browning the most out of these guys because he's done it

00:18:47before and his win-loss record as a as a backup quarterback that gets into action it's not bad

00:18:52so he almost got them into the playoffs yeah uh when he had this opportunity before also like we

00:18:57always forget about this the jake browning chris peterson era at washington he brought washington

00:19:02to a playoff way before kaylin naboor and michael pennix did yep so bratt browning's got a little heat

00:19:07to him he's he's been there for a little bit right yeah he's been there he's kind of familiar with all

00:19:11the guys and and and i mean when you look oh see look there we go right there even though you know

00:19:16what's funny about carson wins he's actually had four good full seasons he has two seasons where

00:19:21he was over 100 passer rating with a full started season and two where he's over 90 it could be a

00:19:26little bit misleading superbowl swans yeah that is true he is a superbowl winning quarterback he's

00:19:32also a superbowl losing quarterback that's right yeah yeah uh but but one thing about this matchup

00:19:37though is this is is this the best wide receiver one matchup in the nfl right now with justin jefferson

00:19:44and jamar chase going toe to toe this is t bob's mandatory lsu yeah we're going to talk about how

00:19:49great lsu is and everything look yeah it reminds me of revenge of the sith you know you were my

00:19:54brother anakin back in 2019 these two changed the game tore up the college world 15 and 0 national

00:20:01champs and now here they sit everything on the line in a week's three nfl matchup took the words right

00:20:08out of my mouth yeah reminds me of the would you say the sith revenge of the sith episode three

00:20:12exactly uh what what what's the number two a wide receiver one game to to to pft's point this just

00:20:20feels like lsu propaganda yeah when have we ever who's at any point in time are we ever like who's

00:20:25the best receiver in the nfl i mean probably one of those probably one of those guys okay and who's

00:20:30the other best receiver in the nfl cd lamb okay uh so then who would cd lamb be going against to be

00:20:35the who's the other best receiver in the nfl he's going against the bears did you just whisper

00:20:49receiver but he can't buy a catch right now maybe not now but i think he's top five about pickens

00:25:33quarterback weekends that we've seen in college football in quite some time okay so let me yeah

00:26:51he's trying to erase the ex-boyfriend can jackson arnold he's a good quarterback right but can he throw

00:26:59uh it didn't look like last week like we that was a classic spot we just don't know if he can throw

00:27:08the football yeah he couldn't really throw last year at oklahoma either could he and he has incredible

00:27:12receivers at auburn so if you can't do it there it's not going to happen maybe the best receiver duo in

00:27:16the country uh we got south carolina mizzou lenora sellers who's admittedly struggled a lot but bo

00:27:21probula one of the big risers here and then how about michigan nebraska yeah raiola underwood

00:27:28the back-to-back number one quarterbacks in the entire country doing battle that feels like the

00:27:33biggest game for nebraska and yeah years well plus so i feel like one of those games comes up every

00:27:39single season we're like this one's the biggest one in years but this one it really is one it

00:27:43actually is it really is because this is it's the rule of three matt you rule year three yep you pop

00:27:49off but you gotta win this game also it's never been more gettable nebraska has a favorable schedule

00:27:54right like this is kind of the one that they need and then if they win this kind of breaks

00:27:58open for him a little bit this also michigan specifically chose this game to suspend their

00:28:03head coach for two that's right they said we're not going to do it in uh in week two we'd rather

00:28:09do it and we are in week three we'd rather do it in week four against uh nebraska he was suspended

00:28:15last week that's right so he but this is one of these two games they selected these two the first

00:28:19two games of the season they said we want more to coach the team uh we can deal with him being

00:28:24suspended for the nebraska which is which is something that makes total sense that you get

00:28:27a pick when you're punished yeah that actually does make sense and that nobody should question

00:28:31that everybody should just be like yeah that's how this should work is that we we we are being

00:28:36punished and we will choose when that punishment happens actually sneaky great for sharon that he's

00:28:41suspended because he can't be blamed if they lose that's true michigan fans already want him fired can i

00:28:45ask why they're favored i big i've been wondering the same okay it can only be because

00:28:53a decade of nebraska like that is that is because i agree with you on paper why would they be with

00:28:59what we've seen so far this year but i think it's just as mark said nebraska's had this game so many

00:29:05times in a row yeah and they lose every single time recently sure but even if you think that michigan's

00:29:11a little bit better team which i'm not convinced of we saw bryce underwood go on the road to

00:29:15oklahoma they didn't even let him throw the ball like they they just ran it up the middle every play

00:29:49think there's some great quarterback matchups this week things of that nature i would put to

00:29:53you t bob we all understand every college football saturday is sacred uh-huh they are all to be

00:29:58cherished however most of us also understand you've got to sometime in the fall you've got to give one

00:30:04maybe you've got to go apple picking oh maybe you've got to do something like that i think if

00:30:10you were to pick one no you can you can go apple picking this week you can sacrifice this saturday

00:30:17there's not i don't know that there's a can't miss game on the schedule and you and then for the next

00:30:2310 weeks you're clear you're thinking about getting married on a saturday this fall like we'll never

00:30:28do that never do that hey let's do it this weekend yeah i'm so in love with you i can't go another

00:30:33weekend without being married to you yeah you're gonna have to speed it up let's just have a week

00:30:37save it for next spring but if you have to go do something this saturday i think is the time to do

00:30:43it to your point the tagline of this weekend is that kind of classic like when you look it reveals

00:30:50itself to you but it's not really very surface there are some solid games i just think if you have to

00:30:55give one up this saturday is not a bad time to do it second t of the week trash

00:31:13this week sellers we think he's going to play at missouri big opportunity for south carolina

00:31:17arch another uh bye game against sam houston didn't look great in all the other ones they've played maybe

00:31:23this week he starts to turn around lagway big opportunity at miami uh coming off of five

00:31:28interceptions can those guys maybe turn it around do something for their season the big story with

00:31:34with florida was they they couldn't stop the run on that last play of the game right but right t-bub

00:31:38ryan kelly told us in the press conference like the lsu's ground game was it was going on that

00:31:44i i do i do love how like yeah they did not run the ball well at all but yeah i mean look at that hey

00:47:13to be a constant on america's team power rankings probably throughout the entire season i think one

00:47:17of the problems they have though is we are kind of just waiting for the playoffs with the bills now

00:47:21that doesn't mean we're not going to enjoy the regular season but let's be honest we're all just

00:47:26excited for the the bills to get over the hump in the playoffs if they run the table and go undefeated

00:47:30in the regular season i guess that would matter would that matter it would matter because it could

00:47:36lead its way to the funniest possible thing happening that's true which would be for the

00:47:39bills to win the super bowl and to have that over the patriots as being the only team that's a good

00:47:44point that went undefeated at this level yeah but one of the issues the bills have right now is that

00:47:49we we've seen this before we've gotten excited about them in the regular season they look really

00:47:53good josh allen has now won the mvp so even that regular season storyline has been kind of checked off

00:47:57there's really nothing left for them to do except get over the hump in the playoff yeah kind of feels

00:48:03like this is maybe the last season though where we love them in the regular season yeah because

00:48:07they've been good for a long time because if they if they if they mess it up in the playoffs again

00:48:12it's like we only have i only can give you so many chances it becomes like i'm sick of their crap

00:49:36who they have i know they got the big match with europe coming up i don't know who they have this

00:49:40weekend maybe a look ahead spot i think they got an fcs team um the rider cup was number two last

00:49:48week i believe you know the bi-week kind of hurt them so they they slid down to number three again

00:49:52it's if they win if the rider cup team wins yeah and there was discussion last week because there

00:49:56was still you know talk about the what the captain's doing all this yeah this is like yeah there's not

00:50:00a lot to talk about i will be honest i will be honest when we did this last week i thought

00:50:04the rider cup was coming up that week yeah i can't believe we're still like another full week

00:50:09away from the rider uh at number two i have georgia tech yellow jackets uh georgia tech uh stole america's

00:50:15heart this past weekend by beating clemson one but clemson is on the short list of teams that if

00:50:20you beat them we love you immediately it's like bama it's ohio state it's it's clemson is georgia

00:50:26in that mix at this point there there may be more yeah georgia as well so georgia tech beats clemson

00:50:31one but it's not just that they beat clemson it's that they beat clemson with the fire drill field goal

00:50:35uh at the 55 yarder 55 yarder perfectly executed not only not only did they do it that way they tear

00:50:44down the goalposts and they know exactly where they're going with the goalposts they're going to

00:50:47the president's pool we're dumping them in the president's pool uh that impressed me i i think

00:50:51everything going on with georgia tech's football program right now has me excited so i have georgia

00:50:55tech at number two on america's team power rankings big t you you grew up a georgia tech fan now

00:55:05but i did put together an exact plan for saturday okay okay because last week was tough last week

00:55:11oh you had the you had the miami usf game you didn't know if you were going to be able to sneak

00:55:16off to the john at that point and it was uh it was i mean it was every we had we had every time

00:55:20slot had an elite game going on every time so here's what you're gonna do first 10 50 is your

00:55:25first bathroom break right before kickoff still enough time to catch the picks on big noon kickoff

00:55:29when you get done yep um after your morning coffee lacy then in that first window you're gonna want

00:55:36to go at halftime of or sorry in the 230 window you're gonna go at halftime of the less good game

00:55:43between auburn and oklahoma and michigan nebraska um or you're no sorry halftime of the more good

00:55:49game right so that's the one you're locked in yes because you're locked in on that one um then

00:55:55unfortunately you're just gonna have to miss some of south carolina mizzou because it starts at six

00:56:00but the rest of the slate doesn't start till 6 30 so after those 230 cbs games you're gonna have a

00:56:07minor window before the 6 30 start where you just sacrifice a little of south carolina mizzou

00:56:12bathroom there and then i think you're good for the rest of this does lacy have ibs how many poofs

00:56:18lacy some of us have to use the bathroom a lot okay yeah yes uh very regular also on a saturday like

00:56:25you're not you're not eating the best food that's right you're probably getting maybe maybe some

00:56:29wings around noon maybe some more wings around three i ate 23 chicken wings on saturday which

00:56:36isn't like that much i mean for titus that's like that's a ton that's a yearly that's your supply of

00:56:40that's your quota that i hit on saturday before like 3 p.m i i basically lived in a close vicinity

00:56:48to my own bathroom for the last six hours of that day uh but yeah it's a fair question so or you could

00:56:53just go apple picking but a lot of fiber and apples so you might want to plan your bathroom breaks

00:59:06don't think it's that crazy to say that a kicker is that good that if you get past midfield you're

00:59:13pretty much guaranteeing yourself of at least three points at least three points jerry you have you've

00:59:17tinted your fingers and you have a sly gray two games you know tj watt i get it everybody

00:59:23everybody's you know saying he stinks that's okay would it change the game though let's say

00:59:29he's good he's automatic let's say 85 he's better than that i'm saying you need to let me finish from

01:11:29except we're playing the dolphins tonight so i wish it was probably in december it would be a little

01:11:36better for you uh all right jim let's just dive straight into the games there are times kind of

01:11:40limited here uh what because this on paper looks like it should be an ass beating but what are some of

01:11:47the challenges when it comes to playing like an individual opponent like one that you're very used

01:11:52to does that give the dolphins more of a chance here well the bottom line is it's early in the season

01:11:57so you don't have all the film that you would like to have even though you go back and watch of course

01:12:03the first couple games and then you watch a little bit of last year's game what they tried to do

01:12:08against your you know you um for us it's more right now individual um what the defense i'm speaking as

01:12:18far as a quarterback yeah what you look at you know you know your pluses and minuses you know

01:12:23who you know can beat another defensive back so i'm looking at uh players i feel that we would have the

01:12:31advantage with and uh right now i'm i'm happy with everything we have i mean we've done a good job

01:12:39we got by that first one which uh that was a tough game but we won that's the bottom line because

01:12:46with that game i look not only you want to win every divisional game but you want to win the games

01:12:53that you think maybe down the line uh will be somebody they might look to head to head but

01:12:59this year um when we're playing now with the dolphins um when i played it was always our big

01:13:06game we knew we had to beat them they had you know one of the greatest coaches ever and don shula well

01:13:11we have one of the best coaches in don shula and then of course uh having to battle dia marino each

01:13:16and every week so this game here you look at the matchups and you hope that you can take advantage of

01:13:22some of them yeah you got to be feeling confident if you're the bills and going into this week like you

01:13:26said you look at the positions and it's hard to find one where on paper you think that the dolphins

01:13:31might have the advantage do you go into this game game planning and saying we are actually going to

01:13:37hold some stuff back even though it's a divisional opponent like we might not empty the clip and uh and

01:13:42we want to save some stuff for later on the season or is it like hey it's this is a they get paid to

01:13:47play football too in miami we got to figure out a way to win and we're not holding anything back

01:13:52that's pretty good what you usually do you i guess you can say you hold something back you try to go

01:14:01with your game plan that you have that you feel will be best against your opponent but there are

01:14:06plays that uh you will hold back if you don't need to use them this week you wait maybe next you

01:14:12you'll be able to do it more of a down in distance whether it's fourth and one whether it's that one

01:14:20that you might you know a little trickery um doing that during the course of a ball game you do it when

01:14:25you need it but you go with what you have best and right now we've got a great running back in cook

01:14:31we've got the best quarterback in the nfl and we've got some great receivers so uh just go with the game

01:14:37plan that we've had the first couple weeks and each and every week as you well know having your father

01:14:41as a former quarterback you would know this that you have a game plan and there's some plays that you put

01:14:47in against this week would be the dolphins that you didn't put in last week against the jets or

01:14:53what we're going to do next week with our next opponent so there are things you might hold back

01:14:58but uh you go and you win how you can win hey jim big t great to talk to you uh you obviously played

01:15:05the dolphins a bunch i'm curious when you see the dolphins uniforms some have described their colors

01:15:11maybe is is not that intimidating when you see that uniform does it look a little uh like you

01:15:18think okay we're going to beat these guys and then if so what uniform in the nfl do you see it and

01:15:24you're like we're in for a tough day not one first time i've ever heard that i've never looked at a

01:15:32uniform oh wow not the raiders you're playing against oakland back in the day and you're like

01:15:38wow i went to school at the youth so i got to see the dolphins a lot and i really mentally i never

01:15:46really thought about that um i looked at numbers like when i played the dolphins number 13 i knew i

01:15:52was in for a battle each and every week so that in itself was something but uh as far as uniform now

01:15:59i grew up a stealer fan so i love the stealers i get to watch them play against the raiders all the

01:16:04time my two favorite teams growing up were them um but uh overall no i never have looked at that i

01:16:11love the the red white and blue that we're in right now uh jim so you mentioned going to the u

01:16:18coming out of college this fascinates me you you forego the nfl to go to the usfl but this is true

01:16:25the usfl wanted you so badly did they let you choose your team yep that was uh yeah it's a quick

01:16:35long story short um yeah i i mean i was on the verge of signing with the bills and then bruce allen

01:16:42called and he got my agent out of the meeting and he took the call secretary said excuse me

01:16:50you mr lustig or mr fabian we have um somebody on the phone he's talked to they took the call and

01:16:57they said oh what are they offering and they told me oh you don't sign that bruce allen said we got

01:17:03something he cannot refuse and uh so we left the meeting and long story short i became a houston gambler

01:17:09um and had jack hardy as my head coach and of course one of the best things probably happened to me

01:17:17was um i had mouse davis um run and shoot i didn't wasn't sure if i could run that type of offense

01:17:25because i wasn't fleet of foot but the good thing about it is it really showed me the passing game

01:17:32because when i was at miami we really did throw the ball a lot and also i didn't play my senior year

01:17:38i blew out my right shoulder and they told me i would never play football again wow dude and then

01:17:44he got to go to the us fells all-time leading passer by the way uh all right jim we got about a

01:17:49minute left here prediction on tonight's game what do you think happens which the fish it doesn't matter

01:17:55as long as the point spread i don't even look at that anymore point spread i do it because i have a

01:18:00couple bets with some buddies in miami one were number 13 and uh the other is what my best

01:18:08friend that lives in miami jeff peck so we have a couple stone crab bets that if we have to what

01:18:15we have to do is we have to sweep you can't just win one and win stone crab and don't let marina if

01:18:20you ever talk to him don't let him tell you that we talked about he gives me stone crabs and i give

01:18:26him chicken wings that's a bunch of bull it's all stone crabs but the good thing but a good thing

01:18:33is we've we've been pretty successful so far so he's probably you know hopes you can stay close this

01:18:40game but uh there's no doubt of course i i picked the bill we we're on the roll i like that this is
