This thunderstorm illuminated the night sky over Rishikesh, Uttarakhand in India.
Rittvik Rawal, from Rishikesh, India, recorded the dramatic moment as thunder and lightning split through the darkness during heavy rains.
The sudden flash lit up the entire sky with a blinding glow, while the deafening rumble of thunder echoed across the valley, startling residents with its intensity.
Rittvik says that Uttarakhand has been experiencing relentless rainfall and severe floods this year, making the spectacle feel even more dramatic.
