00:00Was a good start for the defense yesterday.

00:02A couple of held field goals for the Niners.

00:05You guys were able to hold up in the red zone

00:07before San Francisco started to really get rolling on offense.

00:11What changed as the game went along for you guys on defense?

00:15Oh, well, I mean, we just got all got to be on the same page, man.

00:18I mean, we got guys, you know, you know, just been honest.

00:22We got guys just, you know, some guys just kind of being like kind of selfish,

00:26you know, because guys, I get it.

00:28I mean, we're down, guys want to make plays.

00:32I get it, but, you know, everybody got to play.

00:34I'm talking about defense. Everybody has to play at 11, as 11,

00:37and everybody got to, you know, sacrifice to, you know,

00:39sacrifice to do what's best for the team, you know.

00:42You know, I know some guys want to make plays when we're down,

00:45trying to, you know, get back in the game,

00:47but we got to just keep going as a team and play team defense.

00:51Do you mean, you know, going for picks when they shouldn't,

00:54going for sacks when they shouldn't,

00:56or just kind of going away from, like, the design play call?

00:59Just both. Just both. I mean, just both.

01:02And, you know, we have a standard, you know,

01:05hold guys accountable, you know.

01:06I mean, if I'm not doing my job, coach is going to hold me accountable.

01:08My teammates are going to hold me accountable.

01:10You know, everybody just got to be as one, you know,

01:15because I get it, you know, you get down,

01:17everybody want to make your play,

01:18and everybody want to get the big splash played up.

01:20You know, our brothers back in the game play, you know,

01:22but at the end of the day, it takes a team,

01:25and, you know, nobody is good as an individual.

01:30You know, we're good as 11, you know.

01:32Like, we don't have guys, you know,

01:34going out there being good as individuals.

01:35We have guys that have been good as 11,

01:37and that's on every unit, special teams, offense, defense.

01:40And I think once guys get there, I think we'll be okay.

01:44You know, we have a really good team,

01:46but, you know, we don't show it for all 60 minutes.
