00:00Every clock in my house stopped except the one inside my chest.

00:04Great. Even time doesn't want to spend time with me.

00:08But when I blinked, everything else was frozen too.

00:11The TV, mid-frame. My phone, mid-ring.

00:16Even my own breath hung in the air.

00:19Then the hands of the clock stretched out and pierced through my wrists,

00:22pulling my veins like strings.

00:25They wound my blood around the gears, turning me into part of the mechanism.

00:29Every second my ribs snapped open wider, clicking like clock springs.

00:34When I looked down, there was no clock on the wall anymore,

00:37only a hole in my chest still ticking.
