00:00The Metro Manila Council passed a resolution in the prohibition of parking on national primary roads in Metro Manila.
00:06Additionally, parking will be prohibited on the national secondary roads from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.
00:13In the meantime, the no parking zones regulation will be left at the discretion of local government units based on their jurisdiction.
00:20According to MMC President and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora,
00:23the implementation is expected to ease the traffic congestion, especially during the holiday season.
00:30However, Mayor Zamora clarified that this does not mean a total street parking ban in Metro Manila.
