01:41And trying to figure out a way to get in it

01:45And so it was just super scary
01:49I was in the car for about 45 minutes
01:51They learned she just had to pull a manual release handle

02:19When Jen went to collect her belongings from it

02:26While she said Rivian initially offered them $1,000
02:29They just wanted their money back
02:32And to get rid of the lease
02:34After Action 9 first reached out to Rivian
02:37The company has now offered them a full refund
02:40It was just really scary
02:41Because I don't feel safe being in that car
02:45I don't feel like it will be a safe automobile

02:51The Sanford Fire Battalion Chief told us
02:53It's recommending anyone with the electronically controlled door locks
02:57To learn the emergency exit procedure
02:59So they can get out in a situation like this
