01:09We'll be with the news, sit with us.
01:19On Monday, Venezuelan President NicolĂĄs Maduro denounced the attacks on the nation's territorial
01:33integrity and stated that an investigation is underway to clarify the alleged attacks on
01:38a Venezuelan vessel in Caribbean waters on September 2. Maduro held a press conference
01:42attended by over 47 media outlets and 170 diplomatic representatives from around the world. The president
01:48emphasized that the media must prioritize an ethnical commitment to maintain the truth, specifically
01:55at a time when Venezuela is engaged in an intense struggle to preserve peace and national sovereignty.
02:01In this context, NicolĂĄs Maduro states that the Venezuelan people are the 21st century revolutionaries
02:07who find the strength to respond to attacks against independence in their history and their rebellious
02:13roots.
02:18Venezuela is in a huge battle for the truth, for the truth to win peace, to preserve peace.
02:28What have we done this week?
02:31You saw it.
02:32Five weeks ago Venezuela was threatened with missile carrying ships, nuclear submarines to bomb,
02:40invade and occupy the country.
02:43Five weeks ago, NicolĂĄs Maduro Moros, constitutional president of Venezuela, and revolutionary leader
02:51in our America, this very man, young man, that you saw there in the high school where he began his
02:58journey exactly 50 years ago, was threatened along with several of our comrades, as General Padrino,
03:06and Diaspado Cabello, by some cowboys, using cowboy methods, in the midst of the 21st century.
03:16And what have we done these five weeks?
03:19We have united the people of Venezuela.
03:22We have empowered the people of Venezuela.
03:26We have trained the people of Venezuela, and defend our truth along the streets of Venezuela
03:32and the world.
03:38The Venezuelan president denounced that the maneuvers of the US are not a tension but an aggressive
03:43military action.
03:44He also indicated that Venezuela has the legitimate right to defend itself against hostilities.
03:51It's not just tension.
03:53It's an aggression in every sense of the word.
03:57It's a judicial aggression when they criminalize us.
04:01It's a political aggression with their daily threatening statements.
04:06It's a diplomatic aggression.
04:09And it's a military aggression in the process.
04:15Venezuela is authorized by international law to respond to this aggression in every way.
04:22In response to accusations by the international press that he is creating tensions by calling
04:29on the people to undergo military training in the barackets, the head of state, NicolĂĄs Maduro,
04:34said that Venezuela is exercising its legitimate right to prepare for defense.
04:38Venezuela exercises its legitimate right under international law and the constitution to prepare for the defense of peace.
04:48Venezuela mesma.
04:49We exercise the legitimate right to defense.
04:53Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Hill asserted that United States actions in international waters have created regional instability and should be investigated by international organizations.
05:05In an interview with the head of Bolivar and Diplomacy said, the incident in which Pentagon force killed 11 people on a boat remains mysterious.
05:14Hill noted that the most serious aspect of the situation is that the U.S. government seems to be defending an illegal act.
05:21This is evident in images linked in available technical references that are already causing fear among fishermen and sailors in the region.
05:38On Sunday, Russia expressed its support for Venezuela after demanding diesel by U.S. submarines on a fishing boat, considering it a violation of the country's sovereignty.
05:50The Russian ambassador, Ingaraga Sergei Mila Bagdasarov, warned that these operations direct against the Bolivarian nation put peace and regional instability at risk.
06:01The Russian diplomat confirmed on behalf of his government that Caribbean should be a region of peace, cooperation and good fellowship.
06:09The ambassador assured that Russia supports Venezuela's sovereignty rights to manage its own resources and to guarantee the security of its territory and reform.
06:20The only path to lasting stability is respect for international law and an end to external interference.
06:26The Chinese foreign affairs ministry spokesman Lee Jan Camdan mandated the recent U.S. military actions close to Venezuela.
06:42Lee Jan assured that such actions awaken regional peace and stability.
06:46The spokesman called on the U.S. government to stop interfering in the internal affairs of Venezuela and respect its sovereignty.
06:52Lee stressed the importance of the dialogue and cooperation.
06:56The U.S. military action is that of military confrontation.
06:58China and several other regional leaders who also condemn the U.S. military operation, which has not been sanctioned by the U.S. Congress.
07:16Let's take a very first break, but don't go away, because we'll be right back and stay with us.
07:26Welcome back to From the South.
07:47On Monday, more in the Venezuelan president, NicolĂĄs Maduro visit the Urbaneja Hachopo's educational center tomorrow, the start of the 2025-2026 school year.
07:58The head of state alone with the minister of education, HĂ©ctor RodrĂguez, the first camp, Vasily Flores, the teaching staff of the center, and the students who walked through the renovated space of the institution, including the children's park, press schools, classrooms, auditoriums, medical clinics, dining hall, laboratories, sport fields, theaters, among others.
08:18In preparation for the start of the new school year, more than 1,400 educational institutions were renovated nationwide, where, thanks to 100% schooling plan, thousands of children and young people outside the education system were able to return to the classroom.
08:34This is a school of a new generation, which is the educational unit, Urbaneja Hachopo, yes, the educational unit, Urbaneja Hachopo, where, as can be seen, there are very little children from preschool, and also those of primary and high school levels.
08:55So you put, these children here and they grow, receive their total education, and get graduated from high school, and then their places for their integral higher education is guaranteed.
09:07We've already seen the library.
09:09And we go to Argentina, where investigation has put Carina Millay, the president's sister, in the spotlight of a scandal for the allegedly using these goods that were turned into the nation's for friendly administrations.
09:20The investigation released this Sunday, but a national media, let's state that Carina Millay, secretary-general of the presidency of Argentina, allegedly used a leftover custom scissors to favor regional governments, friendly non-governmental organizations, a member of the Libertad Avanza movement.
09:37The distribution of these items, which range from cars to clothing and perishable foods, is not new and has always been done.
09:47However, this time, there are two key differences.
09:50The first is that President Millay had promised to put an end to these practices, and the second, and more important, is that these donations end up in the hands of friends or allies of the secretary Millay.
10:02On the run, President Xiomara Castro ordered political parties to refrain from policing propaganda message in the Chilatoucles National Stadium regarding the display of banners.
10:22Referring to candidate Vixi Moncada, the president emphasized that the nation's stadiums should be a venue for civic celebrations, not political activities.
10:31She stressed the importance of national unity during this significant time for the country.
10:36President Castro insists that unfair, blatant democratic confrontation during the election campaign.
10:42This measure indicates that not excessive privileges are dedicated to any political organization.
10:52Bolivia is battling a forest fires in the eastern department of Benin and in Santa Cruz.
11:12According to the nation's Minister of Environmental Water, Ălvaro Ruiz, a large contingent of firefighters and volunteers remain mobilized to extinguish the flames of the scene of the operation.
11:23The firefighters are joined by Bolivian police officers, volunteers and personnel from provisional municipal governments, park rangers and community members.
11:33Ruiz also informed that in these times last year there were around 4 to 5 million hectares burned, while today the affected areas have not reached the half of a million hectares.
11:45On June 27th, President Luis Arce received a comprehensive strategy against forest fires aimed at reducing the areas affected as well as protecting indigenous and rural communities.
12:03U.S. President Donald Trump demands that European countries threaten sanctions against Russia and enter per case of oil as part of efforts to reach a solution to the Ukrainian conflict.
12:15During a press conference in New York City, the U.S. president emphasized his willingness to impose additional sanctions on Russia if North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies adopt similar measures.
12:26This mission was retreated in a later sense to NATO members, in which Trump warned that he would not impose new sanctions as long as some countries continue to import Russian crude oil.
12:39The situation is further complicated by nations such as Hungary and Slovakia, which do not agree that imposing sanctions is an effective measure to resolve the conflict.
12:48The Kremlin denounced that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is at war with Russia.
13:02Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Pesco stated that NATO is providing direct and indirect support to Ukraine to carry out attacks against Russian territory.
13:10Pesco also asserted that Kiev is delaying negotiations held in the Turkish city of Istanbul to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
13:19In this scenario, Moscow has passed a dialogue process and emphasized that Ukraine's meat will be useless if it is held without adequate preparations.
13:29On Monday, China responds to the quirky actions of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization by warning them that its economic, commercial and energy cooperation with all countries, including Russia, is justified, legitimate and beyond reproach.
13:51Chinese foreign ministerist spokesperson, Beijing, reiterated that China opposes the use of illegal unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdictions, which are often employed by the Western countries at the behest of Washington.
14:07We emphasize that China has maintained an objective and impartial position in the Ukrainian conflict, promoting peace and dialogue as the only way forward.
14:16Therefore, China read U.S. intimidation tactics and those of the countries that avoid it.

14:41During an interview to the magazine of the Russian intelligence service, the Russian Russian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the countries violated the Ottawa Treaty,
14:52which aims at eliminating anti-personal landmines around the world.
14:56The Arab state also said that the moves is another attempt by the West to put pressure on his country and re-trade his government's willingness to have friendly relations with its neighboring countries.
15:08The Belarus leader also questioned the need to mind borders and spent millions in setting up iron walls when migrants can break through them in just a few minutes.
15:15Let's take our last break, but don't go away.
15:29Let's take our last break, but don't go away.
15:36Welcome back.
15:50An emergency meeting of Arab and Islamic leaders were held in Doha, Qatar on Monday to address a deadly attack by the Israeli regime against a delegation of the policy and resistance movement Hamas in the territory.
16:02The attendees to the emergency summit called the Israeli attack a flagrant violation of national sovereignty and international law.
16:10During the closed-door meeting, the foreign ministers of the participating countries issued a draft declaration against the attack, accusing the Israeli regime of threatening regional peace.
16:20The draft also mentioned that Israel's ongoing genocide and expansionist policies in the Gaza Strip risk peace and coexistence in the region.
16:29During the meeting, the Emirates of Qatar, Tamin bin Hamad al-Tani, rejected Israeli hostilities towards attempts at negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza.
16:45That is party to the negotiations and yet aggressors the venue where the negotiations take place.
16:54If Israel wishes to assassinate the Hamas leaders, why then engage into negotiations?
17:01If you wish to insist on the liberation of hostages, why then do they assassinate all negotiators?
17:09How can we host in our country negotiating delegations from Israel, whereas they sent drones and planes for an air raid against our country?
17:25There is no need for questions.
17:28This is just a cowardly aggression.
17:31The second reality that comes to the surface is that those who work consistently to assassinate the party that is in negotiation will certainly do everything to ensure the failure of negotiations.
17:47When they claim that they seek the liberation of hostages is a mere lie.
17:54For its part, Iranian President Mansoor Bashigan condemned the impunity of Israeli attacks in the region and called for unity against its threats and oppressions.
18:10Perpetrated by Israel against Qatar, the weak last constitute an utter violation of the international law, and we must seek means to stand up to these assaults.
18:28This act of belligerence was not the spare of the moment.
18:33It is the consequence of the provocative policies of the Israeli occupation forces and the impunity they have been enjoying as they continue to go unpenalized for their crimes.
18:48By their acts, they have crossed all red lines.
18:52All the Arab and Muslim states are required to stand united standing up to this belligerent Zionist entity.
19:07On Monday morning, Israeli occupation forces killed at least a Palestinian during a series of attacks in the Gaza Strip.
19:13The strikes took place in the city of Gaza and Kenyuni south of the Palestinian enclave.
19:17Five people were killed during a bombing in the Al-Qarama area.
19:21Three others were shot by Israeli forces in Omawazi.
19:24Palestinian health authorities report that emergency and civil defense teams cannot reach the thousands of victims trapped under the rubble due to the continued Zionist aggressions.
19:34On Sunday, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, condemned the visit of U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, to the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
19:49In a statement, Hamas described the visit as a flag running a tide on the most complex and a provocation to Muslims.
19:58They also pointed out that the prayer area, known as Al-Rawag, is an integral part of the mosque and Muslim and purely Islamic, despite the occupation's attempt to transform it.
20:10During his tour, the U.S. Secretary of State was accompanied by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mike Hugabi.
20:19Together, they participated in prayers and toured the tunnels near the sacred site.
20:25The Iranian government will propose a resolution to the International Atomic Energy Agency demanding a global ban on military attacks against nuclear installations.
20:43The proposals will be presented by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Mohammad S. Lamy, at the Organization's General Conference, currently on their way in Vienna, Austria.
20:56Let's recall that after the Israeli aggressions on the UN, the Iran and the U.S. Parliament unanimously puzzled, effectively bothering the agency inspectors from visiting the country's nuclear sites.
21:09In this context, Lamy argue that the conference serves as an opportunity to directly confirm the double standards of other nations, adding that even if the resolution fails to pass, its rejection will demonstrate a fundamental violation of the UN chapter.
21:26And Spanish Prime Minister Pedro SĂĄnchez reiterated his deep admiration for the pro-Palestinian Protesters who forced the final stage of the Tour of Spain cycling race to be cancelled over the weekend.
21:47We feel, as I said yesterday, deep admiration and respect for our athletes, for the cyclists of the Vuelta a España.
21:58That is why we have put, and yesterday put, their safety ahead of any other issue.
22:04But we also feel immense respect and deep admiration for Spanish civil society, which is mobilizing against injustice and defending its ideas peacefully.
22:15And I believe that the debate that has opened up here about what happened yesterday in Madrid, in Spain, should grow and reach every corner of the world.
22:24It should grow and reach every corner of the world.
22:27The government in Saudi Arabia, the general coordination for displaced persons and refugees in the Darfur region,
22:33reported an increase in cholera victims following 25 deaths in the last three hours.
22:38The spokesperson for the organizations, Dan Bruyol, points out that the number has been risen as a result of forced displacement caused by the confrontations between the army and the Rapid Support Forces.
22:49We all add that in the last three months, the figure rose to more than 11,700 cases, resulting in at least 454 deaths following the cholera outbreak.
22:59Authorities report that the short years of medical supplies and services in health centers is aggravating the situation.
23:07For its part, World Health Organization said that the outbreak has spread to 18 states in the African country.
23:14We have come to the end of this news brief for TLC English and from the South.
23:23I'm Mar Marrero. Thank you for watching.
23:25I'm Marrero. Thank you.
