00:00These were horrendous scenes of violence against police officers and I was pleased to see the Home Secretary come out this morning and say that there will be consequences for those individuals.
00:08I also know that the scenes in the streets really scared and worried a number of people. We cannot be in this situation in this country.
00:16We need to deal with the issues around migration policy through Parliament in the House of Commons and the Conservatives we are pushing the government because at the moment they have failed to get control of immigration since coming in.
00:28They promised to smash the gangs but the numbers of people coming over here illegally have gone up.
00:35They cancelled the Rwanda policy with no replacement and we have a return deal with France whereby to my knowledge not a single person has been returned.
00:45And the crucial thing is the Prime Minister and Number 10 are not focusing on this because they are distracted by the scandal which they are mired in every single day.
00:53And on top of that we have a deputy leadership election going on in the Labour Party at the moment.
00:59So the Education Secretary is out courting the votes of unions for the next six weeks when she himself runs a department whereby it has been exposed that the schools bill is entirely a list of union demands rather than the things that are best for children.
