00:00We have the highest number of people coming into the country illegally.

00:03We have the highest number of people who are seeking processing for asylum.

00:08And that is because of the choices, the bad choices, that this government has made.

00:13And we were in the process of fixing that problem.

00:16We had passed legislation by the time of the last general election

00:20that would have started to solve the problem in the channel.

00:24The Labour government junked that.

00:25And now they are in a crisis of their own making and it's only going to get worse.

00:29There's no way they're going to be able to end hotel accommodation by 2029.
