00:00The Bahasa Jiwa Bangsa Robotics Competition was held in Kuala Lumpur for three days from September 5th to 7th,
00:09showcasing Malaysia's dynamic robotics and technology innovation among young talents.
00:15A collaboration between Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka and World of Robotics Sendirian Berhad,
00:21the event drew 152 skilled participants from 47 educational institutions.
00:28The participants demonstrated their technical expertise and creative problem-solving abilities,
00:33reflecting the expanding interest and proficiency in science, technology, engineering and mathematics,
00:40or STEM education across Malaysian schools.
00:43For me, I believe that technology is something that we can't avoid.
00:48This is not like last past 10-20 years ago that we can select or we can choose whether we want to use or not.
00:56So in future, they might even don't have that much of choice. They have to use technology.
01:01Ninety percent of the industry in the future, they will definitely use robotics or even technologies.
01:08This is one of the most interesting things.
01:13The first thing is that we want to introduce and introduce robotics technology to the younger generation,
01:19especially in school.
01:21The second thing is that we use the language language in terms of the competition.
01:27The rules of the competition, the rules of the competition, the explanation, the explanation,
01:32and the terms that they use, all are using the language language.
01:35Beyond classroom education, World of Robotics says it creates opportunities for students to showcase their skills and compete at national levels.
01:46Whatever the students doing right now is actually building them a very strong foundation.
01:51So when the students have very strong foundation with the knowledge and the skills, they can put their imagination into reality.
01:59So you will learn the foundation first.
02:01So after you master the skills already, you can write however you want.
02:05Now we are giving them the skills, which is the vital things that they need to build something great.
02:13We hope more students will be able to learn robotics, not only just in the urban area, but also in the rural.
02:20So probably we can have more workshops, banker pendudahan in all the schools.
02:26And we hope that more parties or even like more bodies, government bodies, NGOs or even corporate bodies will come forward to sponsor the schools.
02:36So that the schools will be able to have these facilities and also to be able to provide this kind of like workshop for the students.
02:46Last month, World of Robotics guided Team Malaysia to triumph at the International Robot Challenge World Championship 2025 in Beijing,
02:55securing the gold and silver medals in the Puck Collector Junior category.
