00:17such a shock well what this is like twilight zone we can't beat experiences but we were

00:22i just felt like my soul like left my body for the past two and a half years i have been

00:28fighting trying to get my parents home and if i meet the right person who's willing to help then

00:34this whole thing could be over i get a call from my mom she said that one of the counselors was told

00:40this past weekend they needed to be on call because chrisley was getting pardoned maybe it is happening

00:45we all kind of went into an excited panic hello hi okay thanks about the pressure no but i haven't

00:53told anybody well you ain't gonna have to of course i hope the pardon happens but i'm not gonna get my

01:01hopes up you got to get the most powerful man in the world to sign off on something it's pretty hard

01:07i feel like we're right on the cusp but i know we're close and it's gonna happen

01:12breaking news former reality tv stars todd and julie chrisley free president trump said he's pardoning

02:47honestly at an all-time blow i just had gotten to a place in life to where i was like i have worked

02:53tooth and nail for the past two and a half years to try and get my parents home and it seems like

02:58nothing is working i had pretty much just thrown my hands up in the air and said if it's going to

03:03happen it's going to happen but there's nothing more that i can do that morning grace and i went

03:08to play golf we left the golf course i get a text from margo who is one of the president's right hand

03:16girls and she was like i don't want to waste much time the president would like to speak with you

03:20and i immediately was like oh my gosh like this is happening this is happening now so we sat in the

03:28car and that's when the president told us that he was signing the pardon paperwork for both mom and dad

03:35i'd say it's real this time because it's not every day that the president calls you

03:42it was just very chaotic because we had to go back to the house and start cleaning getting the

03:48room ready getting clothes ready and figuring out who was going to go get who i got a call from

03:54savannah saying that the pardons were signed and five minutes later it was all over the news

03:59all of my friends are like tweeting and it's all over the news look at britney and jason i'm telling

04:08like i'm just i was in such a shock can you believe it here huh can you believe it i'm freaking out

04:57conversation a phone call that he had there with their daughter savannah who's been very outspoken

05:02over the last few years about her parents conviction and now it's official president trump

05:07deciding to pardon todd and julie christie

05:37it was just very chaotic savannah and tyler went and got my dad we are here we're hiding out i'm

05:55i'm security and i'm freaking out y'all dad's coming up me pamela my cousin and her boyfriend went and got

06:02my mom tyler and i got up we went and got a rental car at a rental car place close to the prison

06:09we waited literally all day long get any updates let me know because they're telling me you know

06:15it's past their five o'clock so they basically said if nothing happened by five and then we came up here

06:21and so now they're staying and they're like why i'm normally home by now i mean we'd get updates

06:26every now and then but it was like it'd only be like two more hours and then two hours would pass

06:31and then it would be like it's only gonna be two more hours so it seemed like it just kept getting

06:35pushed back and then i got word from the white house that the president was signing the documents

06:41at 3 p.m eastern time and he signed it within that 3 p.m hour and then that's when i got the photos

07:07at that point then we were like all right this is happening like any minute

07:13we're going to continue monitoring the situation kind of watching for any cars that are coming in

07:17and going hoping to see chrisley come out

07:20we are currently sitting in the dollar tree parking lot by the dumpsters in our rental car

07:29we're trying to hide there's so much press around uh right up we're literally what maybe half a mile

07:35from the prison and there's probably 30 cars out there waiting i just got a text that dad should be out

07:41by the four o'clock count so it is 3 13. i have fought tooth and nail for this i my dad's my best

07:51friend in the entire world and i know it sounds stupid but literally i was like i have got to get

07:57my dad out before i get married or before i have kids or he can't be almost 70 coming home

08:03literally 45 minutes out i think from bringing him home or less or less or maybe a little more who

08:10knows but it is happening today

08:11listen let me tell you something all my fans and friends i was sitting in my happy place

08:28when savannah called me and she said nanny you've got to come home now i said oh my god what's

08:35happened she said nanny trump is just part of mom and dad i was so happy

08:44i gathered up my coins i put them in my purse and i ran upstairs and i throwed my clothes in that

08:53duffel bag and i was down that road and i praise god all the way home and i hate that i'm emotional

09:18coming home and there's people outside waiting to film them and they're like and i had to hide myself

09:23like this so they couldn't get me and i can only take like right here

09:41chase was supposed to be included but chase left the house for some reason i mean at that point

10:06process i was at the house and that's when grayson said he would go get mom i would go get dad and

10:13that was the best way for it to play out no one really had the emotional capacity or want to have to

10:21deal with chase and all of his crazy emotions and trying to dictate or not help you also don't get

10:29to have a say if you're not financially helping contribute to this whole process

11:43matter i'm focusing on the positive i'm pissed off with the way that this whole travel situation

11:50has been been handled savannah was the one that got to make the decision on who was going to pick up

11:56my parents i don't think it was handled well i guess it happened so fast i guess it wasn't thinking

12:02about uh who's gonna go get them and i wasn't there probably if i'd have been home and i demanded to go

12:09part of this go did you want to be included on the plans to go pick up julie i did want to i i've

12:16said that since day one that we took when we took her the day that we took her and i saw her walk up

12:23that sidewalk um i said i hope and pray that that day that she gets out that i can be here to see her

12:32walk back down that sidewalk and be free why weren't you able to go

12:41that is just a situation i really don't want to talk about my grandparents weren't included in

12:48picking them up because i mean it would have been too much for them i mean we slept in the car we

12:53waited for hours and hours and hours it just would have been too much for them

12:57but that's okay we'll get over there just think about we didn't have to ride and get in all that

13:05mess it's not about that i would have loved to have seen my mom or dad walk out of there yeah i would

13:10too but we're gonna get a walk to see them in that door but yet pamela and tyler get to see it

13:26i just don't think it was right i think nanny pam should have been able to go pick up my mom

16:32here to start and you can kind of see some of the news media that's gathered here we've got people

16:36from local here in northwest florida all the way to some national folks the papers state that they must be

16:43released immediately and there was press everywhere at the prison and the prison was giving me a hard

16:51time about letting dad out so that's when i went out in front of the prison thank you so much thank

16:56you it's so nice to meet you thank you there were people handing me their babies it was absolutely insane

17:05then i did a press conference with all the news outlets my family we just want to get home we want

17:10to be reunited it's going to take a while they've been behind walls for two and a half years and they

17:19thought they were going to be here for 12 and seven years then i got in touch with the white house let

17:25them know what was going on and the director of the bureau of prisons william marshall and within 30

17:32minutes from that press conference probably like dab was walking out it just hit so you should be

17:51getting a call any minute i just got off the phone with alice johnson billy marshall uh who's the

17:56director of the bureau of prisons josh smith the deputy director um so they've they've gotten it done

39:41it was a very emotional moment because these are guys that I've been with now for 27 28 months

39:49and they've become my friends um I'm excited that my children have survived

39:55the most traumatic thing that's ever happened in our life um I'm excited for the world to finally

40:03know the truth what was it like seeing Julie well I know that for me that I have never loved but one

40:11woman in my life and that's Julie and I know the bond that she and I have and that the time was not
