00:57argument Lindsay just started going absolutely insane we had no more involvement with her until
01:03after the indictment she does not want a relationship with me she does but she wants you to be in a better
01:09place how can Savannah know what place I'm in when Savannah doesn't even know me it's ridiculous I
01:14can't go see my mom and my dad without it being uncomfortable because of her that is your brother he
01:19is my son and he will be welcome anywhere I stand because you're not going out here holy rolling and
01:26saying that you're fighting for the world when you won't fight for your brother chase is not case it's
01:31literally like a blank show go to therapy I was against it at first you know my how I feel about that you gotta
01:38talk to somebody it's very sad you know to watch him suffer and know that there's nothing that I
01:44can do to help him I don't know what my purpose is there's a part of me that is so afraid that he's
01:50gonna die I literally like I don't even want to try to have a relationship with him

02:13didn't think it was real because I thought all the last times it was real but this time it is so I just
02:20waited patiently I also made you laugh but you didn't look at it honey I didn't know what's it
02:27like having them back home now since they've been gone for so long I have to clean it's visible
02:34while you're in prison were there any times with the kids where you were a little worried I worried
02:46about my children every day that I was in 24 hours every single day I mean always something to worry
02:51about Savannah had some really hard times while you were away she had this breakup with Robert
02:57and how did you respond to that that relationship just was going to be hard and I don't believe that
03:03that was Savannah's true love in my heart I believe that Nick was her true love Savannah Chrisley
03:09oh my gosh yes I think the hardest thing that I had to go through in prison was the day that Nick
03:26passed away Nick was my ex-fiancé and we were together 11 months and got engaged and things just
03:35kind of started falling apart and that's when I called off the engagement but Nick and I kept dating
03:39Nick was an amazing dude he was an amazing guy amazing friend I mean he's a part of our family
03:45Nick was there through it all he went and dropped dad off at prison with me he helped me move the kids
03:51he painted my dining room that god-awful color that it is now but I refused to change it but he came
03:58to Atlanta during our trial and literally drove us every day down to the courthouse
04:04and he would always hug me every morning he'd come in yeah
04:08he would always come in every morning he'd say you got this pop you got it I'm proud of you
04:20former Anaheim Ducks player Nick Cordelis was killed overnight in a motorcycle crash Nick was
04:26engaged to Savannah daughter of Todd and Julie Chrisley he also appeared on her family's reality show
04:31Chrisley knows best I remember walking into that visitation room and Savannah turned around and
04:38she started crying and she just fell into my arms and I said what is it and she said he's gone daddy
04:43and I said who's gone and Chase wasn't standing there so obviously I thought it's got to be Chase
04:50I said Chase and she goes no daddy Nick and I just remember that my knees gave away
04:56my legs just just caved in and she held me up and uh we went outside and sat at one of the picnic
05:04tables and we sat there and cried for hours it was just horrible it was hard to even wrap my head
05:09around that it had happened that is one of the worst parts of when you get bad news in prison
05:14you can't be there to to hug your child to get them through those tough those tough things that happen
05:21he passed away on the 23rd and I had text him at 9 40 in the morning and I said please don't tell me
05:30you're gone please I love you please don't be gone I don't believe it and then November 9th I sent him
05:38a text and said I miss you I'm struggling so bad tonight just life as a whole I wish so badly I could
05:44call you because I know you would show up that's just what you do please just know I love you more than
05:49anything in this world and I'm so sorry I didn't love you better
05:52I don't think that Savannah has still properly processed the grief and I say that because of
06:01things that she has shared with me and I think that Savannah felt like that they would find their
06:08way back to each other that was a hard one to grieve it was so and I just I'm the type to where
06:19I just take it as soon as it happens and then it takes me a while to actually grieve but I would say
06:27every couple months I may have a breakdown and of just like everything hits me and it's super hard
06:35and I mean I definitely struggle in my own ways and I'm in my therapy but like I'm gonna fight through
06:43it the last two years of the trauma that Savannah's had to endure she's been hurt so much but I look
06:52at it now and I think that she's taking her life back and I want her to have that because of any
06:57any person in the world that deserves to have a beautiful life it's her it's my daughter
07:06this is a good little treat that we got to do today I mean you got to hang out and kind of learn
07:27she looked cute today thank you you look very beautiful yourself this color looks really good

08:13well no chase um chase was in the shower and he was like hey um we need to talk whenever I get out
08:24of the shower and I was like oh gosh okay so he gets out and then he he tells me to close the bedroom
08:30door and he sits on the bed and he starts off by saying you know how much I love you right and
08:36immediately I said what did you do and he's like nothing well the next thing I know he gets up off the
08:42bed and he starts to pull something out of his pocket of I guess oh I want to marry right and I knew
08:50immediately so I turned around so that I wouldn't see the ring or anything and I was like chase
08:57get up and he's like literally just kneeling right there and he's like trying to continue with his
09:04little speech and I'm like chase get up we're not doing this right here we're not doing this right now
09:09like and of course he gets a little upset because he's like I can't believe and I'm like I'm not
09:14turning you down I'm turning down the what you're doing environment like ew oh we're going out
09:20on a farm on something to be proud of right and not a darn bedroom listen that's kind of crazy at this
09:28point anything's better than that yeah it's only up from here yeah that's right
09:34just so we're clear I didn't say no because I don't want to be proposed to my chase I just said
09:42no to the environment and you know the whole scenario of him trying to pop the question in
09:49our bedroom chase won't stop blowing me up so we're going to give him a call okay let's see

12:11think that I spoke to her there's been really no interaction between us and jody things are I feel
12:19sad about me without actually knowing me whenever other people in the family are not very fond of
12:24him then obviously I'm linked to that maybe I'm not what they want me to be or whatever just because
12:31they may disagree with chase not only did Kyle Chrisley answer our questions about his father's
12:46failure to pay state income taxes we now know he's been subpoenaed by the state of Georgia Chrisley's
12:52estranged son Kyle not only confirms it but says his dad even bragged about it things trying to hide money
12:57he doesn't like to pay what he owes I think it is my dad's reality like I said he's narcissist he
13:03believes that he has millions of dollars having a show being on television you know we're we're not
13:10unlike most families and we all have our our issues and have disagreements everything but
13:18unfortunately sometimes it's played out what's your relationship like with Kyle and Lindsay today
13:25like I said they're my grandchildren too and I love them too they have a special place in my heart
13:32they had a different way of life and it's like I tell them they wanted to be loved too
13:40sometimes you might say things and do things that you regret we all have and sometimes you can't
13:48take back that's what my parents tried to instill in us be careful the words you say because you
13:54might have to eat them someday how is your relationship with Kyle and Lindsay growing up

14:14when it comes to Kyle I mean he literally just took our childhoods away like dad was worried
14:21about him being in this crack house in that crack house and you know is he alive is he dead is you
14:28know what legal problems is he getting himself into like he was always it didn't matter if it he wanted
14:35the attention whether it was good attention bad attention as long as it was on him he was happy
14:39in 2017 we're filming Julie gets a phone call and I see her take her mic off when I saw her do that I knew something was wrong
14:51and she said they're saying it's the Georgia Department of Revenue and that you owe like three million dollars in Georgia state income tax
15:01I said that's a lie we're not even residents of Georgia I said we're residents of the state of Florida
15:07I get on the phone with my attorney Steve Friedberg at the time
15:10I said Steve find out what's going on here
15:13then we had to prove that we had been there six months and one day out of the year
15:17this took two years
15:19and during that time our attorneys come to us and tell us do you know where this is originated from
15:27and I said no he said uh this originated from Mark Braddock and Kyle and Lindsay
15:36it was like someone had had just sucked the it's like all the air just left the room
15:43I had you know I had posted some tweets that I shouldn't going back looking back
15:49as a parent I should have been better
15:51shouldn't have done that I should have taken the higher road I should I'm the parent
16:01but when you're when you're that hurt you strike back out of hurt
16:05and then I remember sitting in a restaurant in Charleston South Carolina and getting a phone call
16:12I walked outside because he identified himself as a police officer
16:16within three minutes I realized that she had filed a police report
16:21saying that Chase and I were blackmailing her with a sex tape
16:27that she had participated in with some
16:30I don't even remember what the kid's name was
16:32he was on The Bachelor or something
16:34he asked me if I could meet him
16:37that's when I got the warning that Chase had incriminating evidence against me
16:42nude photos and had obtained this tape for five thousand dollars
16:48nobody's ever had a conversation with her about a sex tape

18:05when you were talking to and contacting the FBI about things that Todd had said

33:33You know, I thought that going through this with Kyle would kill me, but maybe it was
33:41just preparation for what I'm going through today.
33:43I'm sad that I'm leaving, that I had to bring my son to a rehab.
33:49I'm sad that I'm getting on a plane and he's not on it with me.
33:53Even though we've been through a lot, I truly believe that God did not bring us this far
34:01to drop us off and that God will keep a protective hedge around my son and a healing hand on him
34:09at all times.
34:09It's because that's what I pray for all of my children every day and every night.
34:14Chase and I are definitely on rocky terms because over the past two and a half years,
34:27he has not helped me at all.
34:29As much as Savannah says she wants my help, I don't think Savannah actually wants any help.
34:33Chase and Savannah have fought since they were teenagers.
34:36And that worries me because I feel like the divide is just going to continue to get bigger and bigger.
34:43I don't want to go back and forth with Savannah.
34:45Until Savannah gets to a place where she wants to have a productive relationship with me,
34:50nothing good is going to come from it.
35:04Savannah, how are you?
35:05I mean, I'm fine just getting settled in my new place and getting, figuring out what a new reality looks like
35:15from obviously the past two and a half years.
35:19It's just a lot of adjustment.
35:20Well, it's definitely a better one.
35:26Well, I wanted to like clear the air and kind of make amends if that's something that you're open to.
35:31Well, I mean, yeah, I'm open to having a conversation for sure.
35:37Well, I know that you feel like not everybody was there for you, but I mean, obviously, you know that I was fighting my own demons.
35:46So I'm sorry for my part in it and I definitely could have showed up for you more and I just wanted to apologize to you.
35:56Yeah, I just think, you know, like a blanket I'm sorry is tough to accept.
36:09Like, I would actually like to talk about it so we don't get to the same place that we've been at.
36:17But, I mean, Samantha, I just think, I mean, you know that I wasn't like in the right headspace.
36:23I was doing all I could do to take care of myself and that's not an excuse.
36:27And thank God that you were strong enough to do what you've done.
36:31And like I've told you, like I'm beyond proud of you.
36:35I'm beyond thankful for the steps that you took and the responsibility that you carried.
36:40Because, like, I was a mess.
36:45No, I know that and I appreciate that.
36:47But it doesn't take away from, like, I'm, you know, the amount of, first off, I'm not truly happy with how I handled my stress and the way that it came across.
37:03The past two and a half years, nobody won time.
37:07Because I'm the strong one.
37:08I'm the tough one.
37:09And it's always been said, well, you're the strong one.
37:12You can deal with it.
37:14I never wanted to deal with it by myself.
37:17I never wanted to not have people to show up for me.
37:21I mean, hell, Papa Harvey didn't even wish me a happy birthday.
37:25Like, I know that I have had no one to care about me.
37:29And that's why me, Grayson, and Chloe stuck so close together.
37:33Because that was the only people I felt like I had.
37:37And I'm labeled as the bitch.
37:39And the this and the that.
37:41But nobody knew the pressure that I was under.
37:44And it, I, I don't want to control or be the one to, you know, you said, you just, Savannah doesn't want the help.
37:56She wants to say she does, but she doesn't.
37:58No, I would have loved to have had it.
37:59And I don't want to be the strong one.
38:03But if I wouldn't have, then I don't know what the hell would have happened.
38:07So, I get that I can come across as bitchy or controlling or this or that.
38:13But there comes a point to where that's the only way you can come across.
38:16Well, I mean, what I can do is show up for you now and in the future.
38:28Because I can't go back and change anything, but I'm sorry, Savannah.
38:32And I love you.
38:34I love you.
38:35And I'm here if you need me.
38:36You know, I am too.
38:40So, hopefully this is the beginning of a new chapter.
38:45Well, I'm proud of you for taking the steps that you're taking.
38:48You've always had so much potential if you just let yourself fall into it and work for it.
38:53And I'm proud of you.
38:57And, I mean, spend like two years, like you lost those two years of your 20s.
39:01You need to take the next two years and get and spend that time for you and go and do whatever makes you happy.
39:08Because you're not, you don't have to carry that burden anymore.
39:11Oh, I know.
39:12Trust me.
39:13I am.
39:14I've already started my travel journey.
39:16I am gone.
39:19I'm gone.
39:20I'm doing it.
39:22Yeah.
39:23So, you don't got to remind me on that one.
39:25Trust me.
39:26I remind myself enough.
39:28I love you.
39:29You know, and thank you, I mean, just for everything.
39:33And I'm sorry again.
39:34And if you need me, I'm here.
39:36I love you.
39:42I've learned not to take anything for granted.
39:47I've learned that time is the only thing that money can't buy back.
39:51So, I'm not going to waste it arguing over small, petty things that don't really matter at the end of the day.
39:58And that family is really all you got.
40:03Now that my parents are back, I feel like life is starting to get back to the way it was before.
40:09I mean, it's going to take some time.
40:10I think in the past two and a half years, I learned that I'm very resilient and stronger than what I thought I was.
40:19I sacrificed so much of my personal life and myself.
40:23And I feel like I lost out on so much and so much of me had gotten hardened that I was like, all right, as bad as all this has sucked, like something really good came from it and it wasn't wasted.
40:35And from that has come now a lot of other opportunities.
40:39So, I really don't know what the future looks like for me.
40:43I'm going to D.C. on Tuesday and I've got two days full of meetings.
40:48Who knows?
40:49Maybe tackle another mission after this.
40:55And still today, we're not rushing into this.
40:58We're going to give them all the time, all the space that they need.
41:01We'll get used to it.
41:02We're just going to give everybody an opportunity.
41:05Looking forward to getting back to South Carolina and getting back to all my friends.
41:08I'm hoping when we get back and kind of get settled that, you know, we can take some trips and enjoy life and just do some things before, you know, God says, you come on home.
41:21Let's just all be thankful and know that it will be a new beginning.
41:28And we're going to come out bigger and better in the end.
41:32When we were in prison, we were both doing the same thing.
41:40We would take magazines, if it was new places, if it was new hotels or places we wanted to go.
41:47And literally, we have boxes of things that we have sent home.
41:51I have recipes.
41:52He has recipes for me.
41:54And of things that we want to do and experience.
41:57And we were doing the same thing and didn't even know it.
42:00We're going to build a house.
42:01It will be our first time building a house from the ground up.
42:04You know, I've always renovated and bought something or whatever.
42:07But we're going to build the home that we plan to stay in.
42:11And it's going to have everything that she wants in it.
42:14And, yeah, that's it.
42:16And hopefully I'm going to have beautiful grandchildren.
