00:00All right, Mike, so my other sneaky pick for the season
00:03is the next team that we're going to talk about.
00:05That's the Jacksonville Jaguars.
00:07I really am impressed with what I've seen thus far.
00:09I know they didn't go crazy this past week against Carolina,
00:12but I don't know.
00:14This line seems very iffy to me,
00:18that the Bengals are only three-and-a-half-point favorites
00:20over the Jaguars, total 49-and-a-half.
00:23I kind of feel like I'm back on the Jaguars this week,
00:26kind of feel like they may beat the Bengals this week, Mike.
00:28I don't know, like, the Bengals looked awful to me.
00:32I understand Cleveland's defense is good,
00:34but, like, I mean, they should have lost that game
00:37four or five times this past week.
00:39I don't think that they've solved this early season stuff at all.
00:42I think that's exactly right.
00:44So I think that's why we're seeing the line where it is.
00:47The Bengals played another horrendous game.
00:49By the way, I had the displeasure of watching the entirety of that game,
00:52and there was no offense from the Bengals in the second half.
00:55It doesn't matter how good the Browns are.
00:57The Bengals have elite weapons at QB, at wide receiver.
01:01They have a good running back and a host of tight ends that can make catches.
01:05They weren't making any plays at all.
01:08We bet the Joe Burrow passing yardage number over live
01:13because it went under 200,
01:15and he couldn't even get there at 20 yards passing, I think, in the second half.
01:19So I need to see a little bit more from the Jags, obviously.
01:25I don't share quite your optimism, but I understand the path to it.
01:31Etienne looked unbelievable on Sunday.
01:35Obviously, they traded Tank Bigsby,
01:36and Tootin will be the backup there now for Etienne.
01:40But really good weapons, Brian Thomas Jr.
01:42I think I, like you, as a football fan, not because of a Jags fan,
01:47would love to see Trevor Lawrence unlocked in a way
01:50that he hasn't been able to do consistently yet in his career.
01:53Is Liam Cullen the guy to do that?
01:55That would be fantastic to watch,
01:57and who wouldn't want a quarterback battle this Sunday
02:00between Burrow and Lawrence?
02:02But the Bengals, unfortunately,
02:05they need to figure out something about this early season swoon.
02:08The fact that it happens on offense, Craig,
02:11is the most perplexing thing.
02:13We'll see if the Jaguars defense can step up here.
02:16But I understand taking the points here.
02:18I'm going to look at some point totals here, though.
02:21The Bengals disappointed me in week one,
02:23but I'm going to look to bounce back with them
02:25and look at some Bengals point totals maybe in the first half.
