00:07What were your thoughts heading into this football game

00:09between Jacksonville and Tennessee?

00:10I don't know if this is a game you played or not,

00:12but give me an idea.

00:14I definitely figured it to be a lower-scoring game.

00:17I was looking at the props for Brendan Strange

00:20and Parker Washington and Ryan Thomas being back,

00:23and part of me thought, you know, should I play two of them?

00:25I don't know who Trevor Lawrence is going to throw the ball to,

00:27but if I play two of the three or I play –

00:29excuse me, I should say, play all three,

00:31two of the three would come through when I come out net positive.

00:33You know, frankly, it's just a win for the Jags.

00:36I'm not impressed by it.

00:37It doesn't really move the needle on them.

00:38I will say, considering the fact that they won 25-3

00:42and their run game was so terrible,

00:45that's something we need to talk about

00:47because we've seen some up-and-down production from ETN.

00:50He was dealing with some injuries.

00:51I just expected them to have well over 100-plus yards on the ground

00:54when they're up by multiple scores, and they just didn't get there.

00:57So, I do think you mentioned the Jacksonville rushing performance.

01:02It is important for people to realize that Jeffrey Simmons being back

01:06is changing the Titans' run defense,

01:09and just be cautious with props.

01:12Like, I was looking at some Basial Tootin numbers.

01:14Eight carries, a 26-and-a-half prop.

01:16He didn't really get close, right?

01:18Some of that is also Basial Tootin's, like,

01:20the weirdest goal line back in the history of the National Football League.

01:23Like, I cannot figure it out.

01:24He's supposed to be, like, the scat back, and instead it's just like,

01:27nope, you get the bulk carries down here.

01:29But early in the week, Tom, this line opened seven,

01:32and I thought I was going to be on Tennessee at that number.

01:35They had been getting better.

01:36They had been covering numbers at home in division.

01:39Those sevens all went away, which gave me time to reassess,

01:43and what I kind of felt is Jacksonville should have lost to Arizona,

01:48and this Jekyll and Hyde ebbs and flow every other game team

01:53might have been due for a good one, and they were, and they stepped up.

01:58The question for me, and people might think it sounds crazy

02:01because they've won three in a row, four to five cents to break,

02:04is can they find that consistency, right?

02:07You talk about some of those pseudo-elimination games next week.

02:11They play the Colts next week at home.

02:12A win there for Jacksonville changes the conversation massively.

02:20It'll shift potentially, Tom.

02:22The Jags could go to minus money to win the AFC South

02:26if they knock off the Colts next week.

02:28They really couldn't, and the remaining schedule for them isn't that bad.

02:32They could pick up a win against the Jets.

02:33They could pick up a win versus the Titans to close out the season.

02:36The issue I have with the Jags is, to your point,

02:38there's no level of consistency.

02:40Some of the wins don't always look impressive,

02:42and when they lose, it looks bad.

02:44We see some real mistakes in the turnovers from Trevor Lawrence,

02:48and the consistency from the receivers isn't always there.

02:52We have players step up when Brian Thomas at Parker Washington

02:54became more of an option, but to say that I am fully confident in them

02:58to cover a number at home as a home playoff favorite

03:04when they're going to be hosting a game because they win the division potentially,

03:07I would probably be looking to take the other side.

03:09If Bills at Jags, could that be in play first round?

03:13Everyone would be on the Bills at that point.

03:15Yeah, the problem then becomes, though, Tom,

03:17all of a sudden it's Buffalo three and a half,

03:20and guys like you and I are like,

03:21all right, here we go with this Jacksonville.

03:23It's just sometimes the ebbs and flow of it all.
