00:06£175,000 in community grants, money that has been taken from prosecutor crime, from criminals
00:15to invest in the community. This is money that will be used to tackle violence against women
00:23and girls. Tackling violence against women and girls is one of our key priorities. We know from
00:29experience just what a challenge this is for us within Lancashire. This money will be used to
00:36support survivors, to make environments safe and to cut the cycle of abuse and prevent people from
00:47becoming abusers in the first place. This is about making Lancashire a safer place. So it is about
00:56how we use the resources we've got and to use it to tackle violence against women and girls.
