00:06Operation Warrior is Lancashire's response to organised crime in Lancashire. Organised crime

00:14is a blight on all the communities. What we're seeing is drug gangs and criminals involved in

00:21the exploitation of young people, anti-social behaviour, shoplifting where people are feeding

00:28the habits. It is real disruption to communities and Op Warrior is absolutely focused on targeting

00:38those individuals, working in partnership, getting people convicted, getting people arrested and

00:46removed from those communities to bring back a bit of normality to local people. In the three years

00:56that Operation Warrior has been launched, we've managed to double the number of arrests that are

01:03being made. We've managed to treble the amount that is seized off these criminals, the money and the

01:12assets and that then is used as proceeds of crime to reinvest back into the communities to make the

01:20communities safer. It's really important because we're seeing the exploitation of young people with

01:27county lines. We're seeing the disruption that is in many communities. What we are trying to do is

01:37build back neighbourhood policing, build back that connection with the public, build back the trust

01:44community, because it is really important that that information comes forward and can be used as

01:50intelligence against the gangs and against the people causing these problems. I would urge everybody

01:59with any information to come forward and report. The police are taking action, we are building back that

02:07resilience that is so desperately needed and together strengthening that connection with the community

02:17and the police. We will once again see safety through strength.
