Indian restaurant in West Sussex named as finalist for prestigious award

Calcutta16 in Shoreham has been named as a finalist for the prestigious Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards (ARTA) 2025.

00:06We've been here for a very long time and we're very pleased to receive these awards and recognitions.

00:19helps us to keep moving forward with these sort of awards, keeps us motivated. Our food is very

00:26different to other Indian places or the most of the Indian places. We try to bring the authenticity

00:32to the food. We try to bring the good flavors in the authentic flavors of India. If you see our menu,

00:38it's got different dishes from different parts of India, representing different parts of India,

00:44specializing in different states because India is very diverse, a lot of food options. So we try to

00:51bring in one food from every part of India and have our chef specials while keeping the traditional

00:58good old British menu as well. So we've got very different soft taste and authenticity to our menu

01:04which distinguishes us amongst others.
