00:00 Yes guys, how's it going? Henry Bryant here with yet another food review. I'm at Masala City in
00:05 Chichester where they've just won the Indian Restaurant Nations Curry Award in the South.
00:11 I've asked the man, the myth, the legend, the boss that's in charge of everything to give me a few
00:15 starters, mains and side dishes to see what is going on here and see what the hype is about.
00:20 So let's not dilly-dally, let's get straight into it. Guys for starters today we've got the
00:25 prawn chaat, we've got the sag roll and we've also got the mixed starter as well. So we've got some
00:31 of the sag roll now and I'll be fair, I've had a little bit of this already I've got to admit and
00:36 oh it's just it's too tasty I'm gonna have to go in.
00:40 It's just so fresh. Right I'm going in for the prawn now, I'll tell you exactly how it is.
00:50 You see the thing is with a lot of meats and seafood like prawns people don't actually put
00:56 the spices inside and sort of marinate it in some sort of spice and you can just tell that that's
01:04 had a real nice kick of spice added into it and it really makes it really enjoyable without any
01:09 sauce and even just on its own it it stands tall and it's um it really makes it a really
01:15 nice dish. Dare I say one of the best sort of prawns I've had. Let's go for the naan breads,
01:26 there is a number of naan breads on the table right now. That's look really nice,
01:31 it's still hot as well, it was steaming a second ago so let's give it a go.
01:38 Wow that coconut flavour really does come through and it just it just is really nice.
01:46 These look great as well, proper golden crisp to it as well, it's great.
01:52 We've got the almighty chicken tikka masala, got that paired with a bit of their rice
01:59 so add a bit of that to it but let's give it a go see what we think.
02:04 Mmm I mean the chicken it's almost like you don't even need to chew because it's that sort of moist
02:16 and you can kind of just taste sort of how fresh that chicken is with the sauce and it's got so
02:24 many sort of fragrant spices that even before you've eaten it you can sort of smell how nice
02:28 the sort of the powder that they put on it is. It's um it really is a feast. I've got to say as
02:34 well all the staff have been lovely here, it's a really friendly welcoming sort of atmosphere,
02:40 really chilled, relaxed and yeah you can't really go wrong. Right guys that was our review of Masala
02:47 City, overall really friendly staff, great food and just a really nice dining experience so if
02:52 you're ever here in Chichester I'd recommend giving this curry restaurant a go. I've been
02:58 I've been Henry Bryant and I'll see you in the next food review.
