00:00In 2003, the CIA classified a document titled Analysis and Evaluation of the Gateway Process,
00:08which delves into the theoretical background and potential benefits of the Gateway Process,
00:13including improved focus, intuition, and problem-solving skills.
00:18Although it is an older paper dated June 9, 1983, it is extremely interesting,
00:24with the concepts within its pages confirmed by modern developments in science,
00:30quantum physics, and neurobiology.
00:33Why was this hidden until now?
00:35What are the secrets of our mind and is the whole world one gigantic hologram?
00:40We will try to find out together in the episode of Secret Origins.
00:45Welcome.
00:46Are you ready to dive deep into the mysteries of consciousness and energy?
00:51Unlock the secrets of the mind and explore the uncharted territories of the human brain.
00:56The Gateway Process is a training program developed by the Monroe Institute,
01:01which aims to help individuals achieve altered states of consciousness,
01:07access higher states of awareness, and explore the nature of consciousness.
01:11The process is based on the work of Robert Monroe,
01:14a pioneer in the field of consciousness exploration,
01:18who is best known for his research on out-of-body experiences, OBEs.
01:23The Gateway Process combines various techniques,
01:28including relaxation exercises, guided visualization, meditation,
01:33and the use of HemiSync audio technology.
01:36HemiSync refers to the process of synchronizing the brain's two hemispheres
01:40through hypnosis and biofeedback,
01:44and transcendental meditation combined with binaural beats,
01:47which are specific sound frequencies designed to entrain the brain
01:52into certain states of consciousness.
01:54The Gateway Process explains consciousness in a profound and analytical way
01:58and combines knowledge from mystics from Hindu, Buddhist, and Tibetan cultures,
02:04with modern scientific knowledge of Planck's distance,
02:07Einstein's theory of relativity,
02:09and the work of Niels Bohr,
02:11the man who received the Nobel Prize for Merit
02:14in the study of atomic structure and quantum mechanics.
02:17At its core, the Gateway Experience is a training system
02:21designed to bring increased strength, focus,
02:24and coherence to the amplitude and frequency of brainwave output
02:28between the left and right hemispheres,
02:31so that ultimately consciousness escapes the limitations of time and space.
02:35The mind can then synchronize with more complex and rarefied energy levels in the universe,
02:42accessing the various levels of intuitive knowledge that the universe has to offer.
02:47It is about the idea that individual consciousness comes from the collective consciousness,
02:53using the frequency vibrations of the being in which it resides.
02:58This goes for humans as well as whales and fungi and amoebas.
03:01This goes for humans as well as humans as well as humans as well as humans as well as humans.
03:02Everything.
03:03Mystics of the past and present, including all ancient religions,
03:07understood these concepts thousands of years ago.
03:11Yet, nowadays, it is difficult to be accepted from the minds of the most pragmatic self-conscious people.
03:18But can we really understand what consciousness is?
03:22Where does it come from?
03:23How is it formed?
03:25Science now knows that both the electrons that spin in the energy field surrounding the nucleus of the atom
03:33and the nucleus itself are composed of nothing more than oscillating energy grids.
03:38Solid matter in this strict construction of the term simply does not exist.
03:43Rather, the atomic structure is composed of oscillating energy grids,
03:48surrounded by other oscillating energy grids that are orbiting at extremely high speeds.
03:53Itzhak Bentov is an inventor, engineer, and writer
03:57who is known for his work in the fields of biofeedback, kinesiology, and energy medicine.
04:04One of Bentov's most notable contributions is the development of a biofeedback device
04:09that records the heartbeat, specifically the reverberations of the aorta.
04:15In his book, Stalking the Wild Pendulum, he provides the following information.
04:20The energy grid that makes up the nucleus of the atom vibrates at approximately 1,022 Hz,
04:27which means a 10 followed by 22 zeros.
04:31At 70 degrees Fahrenheit, an atom oscillates at a rate of 1,015 Hz.
04:38An entire molecule made up of multiple atoms bound in an energy field vibrates in the range of 109 Hz.
04:45A living human cell vibrates at approximately 103 Hz.
04:51The point is that the entire human being, brain, consciousness, and all
04:57is like the universe that surrounds it, nothing more or less than an extremely complex system of energy fields.
05:05The so-called states of matter are actually variations in the state of energy.
05:10Human consciousness is a function of the interaction of energy in opposite states.
05:17Motion versus rest.
05:19Energy creates, stores, and derives meaning in the universe by projecting or expanding certain frequencies in a three-dimensional mode.
05:28This creates a living model called the hologram.
05:31But do we know what holograms are and what their meaning is on our consciousness?
05:37The idea of the hologram, which is a three-dimensional image created by the interference of light rays,
05:43is used as a metaphor to describe certain aspects of consciousness and the nature of reality.
05:49This idea has also been used to explain some phenomena, such as the phenomenon of quantum entanglement,
05:56in which particles can be connected in such a way that the state of one particle depends on the state of the other,
06:03even if they are separated by large distances.
06:06The concept of a hologram can be most easily understood using an example cited by Bentov,
06:11in which he asks the reader to visualize a bowl full of water into which three pebbles have been dropped.
06:19As the ripples created by the simultaneous fall of the three pebbles spread outward toward the rim of the bowl,
06:26Bentov further asks the reader to visualize that the surface of the water has suddenly frozen
06:32so that the ripple pattern is instantly preserved.
06:36The ice is removed, leaving the three pebbles at the bottom of the bowl.
06:41The ice is then exposed to a powerful, coherent light source, such as a laser.
06:47The result will be a three-dimensional model or representation of the position of the three stones suspended in the air.
06:54Holograms are capable of encoding so much detail that, for example,
06:59it is possible to make a holographic projection of a glass of swamp water
07:04and see under a microscope the tiny organisms that cannot be seen with the naked eye
07:09when examining the glass of water itself.
07:12The whole concept of holography, despite its scientific applications,
07:17has only been known to physicists since the basic mathematical principles
07:21were developed by Dennis Gabor in 1947.
07:25He later won a Nobel Prize for his work.
07:28The laboratory demonstration of Gabor's work
07:31did not occur until years later after the invention of the laser.
07:35As biologist Lyle Watson explains,
07:40the purest kind of light available to us is that produced by a laser that sends out a beam
07:46in which all the waves are of one frequency,
07:49like those made up by a perfect pebble in a perfect lake.
07:53When two laser beams touch,
07:55they produce an interference pattern of light and dark waves
07:58that can be recorded on a photographic plate.
08:01And if one of the beams, instead of coming directly from the laser,
08:06is first reflected off an object like a human face,
08:09the resulting pattern will be very complex indeed,
08:13but still recordable.
08:14The recording will be a hologram of the face.
08:17The part encodes the whole.
08:22The part contains the whole,
08:24and the whole is contained in the part.
08:27Of further importance is the fact
08:28that even if we drop our frozen wave pattern hologram on the floor
08:33and break it into several pieces,
08:36each individual piece will recreate the entire holographic image by itself.
08:41The smaller the piece,
08:43the fuzzier and more distorted the resulting holographic projection would be.
08:48But the fact is that the entire projection will still be preserved.
08:52The key to creating any hologram
08:55is that energy and motion must interact with energy at rest.
08:59In the example above,
09:01the pebbles represent energy in motion,
09:04while the water, before being stirred by the pebbles,
09:07represents energy at rest.
09:09In order to activate or indeed understand the meaning of holography,
09:15energy, in this case a coherent light source such as a laser beam,
09:19must be passed through the interference pattern
09:22generated by the interaction between energy in motion and energy at rest.
09:28In the simple example given by Benthoff,
09:31this requirement is met by holding a frozen interference pattern
09:34in front of coherent light
09:36to project the three-dimensional holographic image,
09:40its sense,
09:41into space.
09:42As Marilyn Ferguson,
09:44editor of the Brain-Mind Bulletin, tells us,
09:46another feature of a hologram is its efficiency.
09:51Billions of bits of information can be stored in a tiny space.
09:55The pattern of the holographic photograph
09:57is stored everywhere on the plate.
10:02The Matrix of Consciousness
10:03The matrix of consciousness is a term that refers to the idea
10:19that consciousness is not limited to the brain,
10:21but instead is a fundamental aspect of the universe
10:25that is present everywhere,
10:27and that the brain is essentially a matrix,
10:30or filter,
10:32that decodes this information
10:33and creates the subjective experience of reality.
10:37The idea of a matrix of consciousness
10:39is based on the concept
10:40that consciousness and the physical universe are interconnected,
10:43and that consciousness is not simply a product of the brain,
10:48but is a fundamental aspect of reality.
10:51This idea suggests that consciousness
10:53is not just something that comes out of the brain,
10:56but is an integral part of the fabric of the universe.
10:59What role does the matrix of consciousness play
11:02in shaping our perception of reality?
11:05According to the theories of Carl Preibram,
11:08a neuroscientist at Stanford University,
11:11and David Bohm,
11:12a physicist at the University of London,
11:15the human mind is also a hologram
11:18that tunes into the universal hologram
11:20through the medium of energy exchange,
11:23thereby deriving meaning
11:24in achieving the state we call consciousness.
11:28In terms of states of expanded or altered consciousness,
11:31such as Gateway uses,
11:33the process goes like this.
11:36As the energy passes through various aspects
11:39of the universal hologram
11:40and is perceived by the electrostatic fields
11:43that make up the human mind.
11:46Holographic images that are transmitted
11:48or projected onto those electrostatic fields of the mind
11:52and perceived or understood
11:54to the extent that the electrostatic field
11:56is operating at a frequency and amplitude
11:59that can be tuned
12:01and therefore read,
12:03the wave pattern of the energy carrier
12:05passing through it.
12:06Changes in the frequency and amplitude
12:09of the electrostatic field
12:11that surrounds the human mind
12:12determine the configuration
12:14and therefore the character
12:16of the holographic energy matrix
12:17that the mind projects
12:19to receive meaning directly
12:20from the holographic transmissions
12:22of the universe.
12:24Then, in order to understand
12:25what the holographic image is telling it,
12:28the mind proceeds to compare the image
12:31it just received with itself.
12:33Specifically,
12:35it does this by comparing
12:36the resulting image
12:38of that part of its own hologram
12:40that represents the memory,
12:42registering the differences
12:43in geometric form
12:44and energy frequency consciousness perceives.
12:47As psychologist Keith Floyd says,
12:51Contrary to what everyone knows,
12:53it may not be the brain
12:55that produces consciousness,
12:57but rather consciousness
12:58that creates the appearance of a brain.
13:00This is quite similar
13:01to the theory of biocentrism
13:03proposed by the American scientist
13:06and physician Robert Lanza.
13:08The theory suggests that life
13:10and consciousness are fundamental
13:11to the nature of reality.
13:13Lanza argued that the universe
13:15and physical reality
13:17are not separate
13:18from the life and consciousness,
13:20and that consciousness
13:20is responsible for the creation
13:23of the physical world,
13:24and without consciousness,
13:26the physical world would not exist.
13:29The theory also suggests
13:30that the universe
13:31is not deterministic,
13:33but instead is shaped
13:34by the observer,
13:36and that the observer
13:37plays a major role
13:38in creating reality.
13:40The process of consciousness
13:41is easiest to understand
13:43if we imagine
13:45the holographic input
13:46with a three-dimensional grid system
13:48superimposed on it
13:50so that all the energy patterns
13:52contained within
13:53can be described
13:54in terms of three-dimensional geometry,
13:57using mathematics
13:58to reducing data
13:59to two-dimensional form.
14:02Bentov states
14:03that scientists suspect
14:04that the human mind
14:06operates on a simple
14:07go-no-go binary system,
14:10like all digital computers.
14:11therefore,
14:14after superimposing
14:15the three-dimensional matrix
14:17on the holographic information
14:18it wishes to interpret,
14:20and reducing that information
14:22mathematically
14:22to two-dimensional form,
14:25it can fully process it
14:26using its fundamental binary system,
14:30just as any human-made computer
14:31can process volumes of data
14:33and make various comparisons
14:35between the data and information
14:37stored in its digital memory.
14:38Our minds work the same way,
14:42perceiving only by comparison.
14:45Bentov formulated the proposition
14:46as follows,
14:47our whole reality is built up
14:49by constantly making such comparisons.
14:52Whenever we perceive something,
14:54we always perceive only the differences.
14:58In states of expanded consciousness,
15:00the right hemisphere of the human brain
15:02in its holistic, non-linear,
15:05and non-verbal mode of functioning
15:07acts as a primary matrix
15:09or receptor for this holographic input.
15:12While working in phase or coherence
15:15with the right brain,
15:17the left hemisphere provides
15:18the secondary matrix
15:19through its binary,
15:21computer-like mode of functioning
15:23to further screen the data
15:25by comparison
15:26and to reduce them
15:27to a discrete,
15:29two-dimensional form.
15:30To the extent
15:31that Gateway succeeds
15:33in bringing about
15:34a refinement
15:34of the energy matrix
15:36of the mind,
15:37it succeeds in expanding
15:39or altering human consciousness
15:40so that it can perceive
15:42without resorting
15:43to the mediation
15:44of the physical senses
15:45so that more and more
15:47of the universal hologram
15:49can ultimately be perceived
15:50and understood.
15:52Marilyn Ferguson has written
15:53that Prybrum and Bohn's theories
15:55seem to explain
15:56all transcendental experiences,
15:59paranormal events,
16:00and even normal
16:01perceptual oddities.
16:03She goes on to say
16:05about Prybrum,
16:06currently he's proposing
16:07a startling,
16:09all-encompassing model
16:10that is generating
16:11considerable excitement
16:12among those intrigued
16:13by the mysteries
16:14of human consciousness.
16:16His holographic model
16:17marries brain research
16:19to theoretical physics.
16:21It accounts for normal perception
16:22and simultaneously
16:23takes the paranormal
16:25and transcendental experiences
16:27out of the supernatural
16:28by explaining them
16:30as a part of nature.
16:32Like certain strange discoveries
16:34of quantum physics,
16:36the radical reorientation
16:37of this theory
16:38suddenly makes sense
16:39of paradoxical sayings
16:41of mystics
16:42throughout the ages.
16:44To complete our outline
16:45of the process
16:46by which the mind attains
16:48and exercises consciousness,
16:50we must also describe
16:52the mechanism which accounts
16:53for the aspect of human thought
16:55that distinguishes it
16:57from the consciousness
16:57of plants or animals,
16:59i.e. self-knowledge.
17:01People not only know,
17:03but they know they know.
17:05They are able to observe
17:06their own thought process
17:07and become aware of it.
17:09In addition,
17:10they can perform benchmarking,
17:12evaluating the functioning
17:13of their thought process
17:14against various objective standards
17:16that they have adopted.
17:19Human consciousness can do this
17:21because it has the ability
17:22to duplicate aspects
17:24of its own hologram,
17:25project them,
17:27perceive this projection,
17:29compare it to the memory aspect,
17:31where its standard of measurement,
17:33of evaluation,
17:34are stored,
17:35of its own hologram
17:36and measure or sense,
17:38the differences using
17:40three-dimensional geometry,
17:41and then binary go, no-go.
17:43Does our consciousness
17:46really play a central role
17:47in shaping reality?
17:49And as the holographic principle suggests,
17:52is the universe
17:53a projection of information
17:54encoded at its boundary?
17:56The implications of the theory
17:58discussed in this episode
18:00would be enormous
18:00and have the potential
18:02to revolutionize
18:03our understanding of consciousness,
18:05reality,
18:06and the mind-body relationship.
18:09So, the next time
18:10you look at the world around you,
18:12remember that you may just be looking
18:14at a holographic projection
18:16created by your own consciousness.
18:18We bow before you
18:20and thank you for watching
18:21another episode of Secret Origins.
18:24Keep your minds open
18:25and until we meet again.
