00:00The Philadelphia Experiment, a naval military project that took place in 1943.
00:06During World War II, the US Navy was conducting experiments aimed at making their ships undetectable
00:13to enemy radar.
00:15The project involved the use of a range of technologies, including electromagnetic fields,
00:21in an attempt to achieve this goal.
00:23Despite its controversial nature, the Philadelphia Experiment has captured the public's imagination
00:29and has been the subject of numerous books, films and documentaries.
00:34Today, we will delve into the mystery of the Philadelphia Experiment, examine these technologies
00:40used and discuss the impact and legacy of this mysterious event.
00:45Join us as we explore one of the most intriguing stories of World War II in the new episode
00:52of Secret Origins.
00:54Welcome.
00:55The Philadelphia Experiment, an event that is key in our history.
01:03Why?
01:04A legend about an entire ship being moved in space-time.
01:08But is this just a legend or is it becoming one because the government is hiding it from
01:14us?
01:15What are the consequences and what is the different point of view?
01:22The Philadelphia Experiment, or officially known as Project Rainbow, was a top-secret attempt
01:27by the military to make a warship invisible.
01:31Invisible to radar, though, the ear is 1943, right in the middle of World War II.
01:37Now, the experiment we're assuming you've at least heard about involves the battleship Eldridge.
01:44According to Bob Frizzle, the technology that the military received for the experiment was
01:49from the great aliens and their idea was that the US wanted to win the war with it.
01:54Project Rainbow is the forerunner of today's stealth technology as the plan was to create
01:59an electromagnetic battle that effectively deflects radar waves from the ship.
02:05However, while the goal is for the ship Eldridge to disappear only from the radar range, the experiment
02:11goes in a completely unexpected and sideways direction.
02:15It becomes invisible to everyone and temporarily disappears from space-time.
02:24The experiment was developed by Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein, with Tesla himself in
02:30charge at the beginning.
02:32He insisted that the experiment be carried out without the crew.
02:36But his proposal was not accepted and he ended his participation and was replaced by Dr. John
02:42Von Neumann.
02:44What the assigned team does is to trigger fields that spin counter-clockwise along with a few
02:49more steps involving the speed of light to go from one dimension to another or in another
02:55reality.
02:56What is seen is a red mist around the traveler and the colors are constantly changing from
03:01red to orange, yellow, green, blue, which is why it's called Project Rainbow.
03:07But when the colors start to flow into each other, the researchers panic and try to turn
03:12it off only to make the situation worse and the ship crashes interdimensionally or disappears
03:19for a bit from our space-time.
03:22The Eldridge disappeared from the Philadelphia Navy Yard for about four hours and the ship also
03:28appeared in passages due to space-time and when it returned, it was transparent.
03:34When it returns, the results are shocking.
03:37Humans had left the physical universe and there was no known environment around to connect it
03:42to.
03:43On their return to port, some passengers were stuck in the bulk heads of the ship itself,
03:49some burned, some materialized and dematerialized and some never returned at all.
03:55Those who survived were mentally disoriented and terrified.
03:59The interesting thing is that none of this became purposeful because back then, the concept
04:05of teleportation was not known to our scientists.
04:11After spending considerable time in rehabilitation, the crew was subsequently released as mentally
04:17unfit.
04:18The diagnosis mentally unfit proved very convenient in order to cover up their stories.
04:25This of course resulted in Project Rainbow being frozen and while a major breakthrough
04:30had been made, there was no guarantee that humans would be able to survive further experiments.
04:37It's interesting what happened to two crew members who started running at the start of
04:41the experiment.
04:42They jumped off the ship and started swimming but when they reached land, they found themselves
04:48not in the harbor of Philadelphia but on Long Island, New York 40 years later in 1983.
04:56Their names are Duncan and Edward, later known as Al Bielek Cameron.
05:02The reason is that the Project Montauk experiment was taking place at the same time and the two
05:07experiments were connected.
05:09According to Al Bielek, there are four biofields on planet earth and all four come together
05:15at a peak every 20 years on August 12th.
05:19At these very moments, a sufficiently strong energy is created with which a hyperspace world
05:25field is created which causes the ship Eldridge to slip if that is what we can call it in space
05:32in 1943.
05:34Dr. John von Neumann, who led the experiment, was called to work on the Manhattan Project.
05:41He was associated with the atomic bomb, which became the weapon that ended World War II.
05:47Although it's not widely known, the extensive research that began with Project Rainbow was
05:52resumed in the late 1940s precisely with Project Montauk with a hole opened in the time-space continuum.
06:01Though the US Navy has explained that no such experiment took place, many researchers disagree.
06:06And they have their reasons.
06:09Documents from 1943 have been found which confirms that Einstein was in the service of the Navy
06:14department in Washington.
06:17Witnesses began to appear and tell stories how they personally saw the Eldridge disappear.
06:23There even was a newspaper clipping from those times, which talked about soldiers who got
06:28off the ship and melted right before the eyes of the witnesses.
06:33The Philadelphia experiment is an example of a story that just refuses to die.
06:38There is a mysterious aura about it that is constantly exploited.
06:43These words from Jackie's Valley, one of the most brilliant paranormal investigators, clearly
06:49demonstrate the skepticism of many scientists towards the story of the disappearance of the
06:55destroyer Eldridge.
06:59Now we are going to go back a bit to see how it all started.
07:03In 1912 a mathematician named David Hilbert developed several different methods of new mathematics.
07:11One of these is known as the Hilbert space.
07:14He developed equations for multiple realities and spaces.
07:18He met Dr. von Neumann in 1926 and shared his information with him.
07:23Von Neumann took many of the systems he learned from Hilbert and worked with them.
07:28According to Einstein, von Neumann was one of the most amazing mathematicians.
07:32He had the unusual ability to take abstract theoretical concepts from mathematics and apply them to
07:39situations in physics.
07:40Dr. Levenson, who developed Levenson's equations of time, also appeared in the story.
07:47He published three books which are now rare and almost impossible to find.
07:51Serious research on the issue of invisibility began in the early 1930's at the University
07:57of Chicago.
07:59Dr. John Hutchinson, dean at the time, was aware of the 145 The Montauk Project work of
08:08Dr. Kurt Hauer, then an Austrian physicist at the university.
08:13Later, Nikola Tesla joined them.
08:16Together, they studied the nature of relativity and invisibility.
08:20In 1933, the Institute for Prospective Studies was formed at Princeton with Albert Einstein
08:27and John von Neumann.
08:29In 1936, the project developed even further and Tesla was appointed director.
08:35With Tesla on board, partial invisibility was achieved before the end of the year.
08:40Research continued until 1940, when a full test was made at the Brooklyn shipyard.
08:46The test was small and there was no one on board.
08:49The ship used was powered by generators from other ships connected by cables.
08:54At this stage, another scientist got involved, T.Tousand Brown, who is known for his practical
09:00ability to apply theoretical physics.
09:03By 1941, Tesla already had the full confidence of the rulers and they provided him with a
09:10ship.
09:11Tesla's famous transformers were also used on this ship.
09:14As the project developed, the inventor was cautious because he knew there would be stuffing
09:19problems.
09:20Perhaps he understood it because of his ability to fully visualize his inventions in his mind,
09:27and to always be several steps ahead of everyone else.
09:31In any case, Tesla knew that the mental state and bodies of the crew would be seriously affected
09:37and even injured.
09:39He needed more time to perfect the experiment and try to make it safe for the participants.
09:45Von Neumann, however, strongly resisted this and the two never got along.
09:51Von Neumann was an outstanding scientist, but he did not care for metaphysics, while and for
09:57Tesla it was something common and he had created successful inventions based on his unique foresight.
10:06Part of what caused Tesla to give up was that during his experiments in Colorado Springs around
10:1119000, he said that an intelligence from another planet contacted him through constant signal messages.
10:19This happened in 1926 as well, when radio towers were erected at the Waldorf Astoria and his New York laboratory.
10:28He claimed to have received information that the experiment would lose people if things did not change.
10:34So, he needed time to invent a new equipment.
10:38Tesla's pleas for more time, however, were ignored.
10:41His government had a war to win and further delay was not in their plans.
10:46Tesla secretly sabotaged the operation in March 1942.
10:51It is not known whether he was fired or lived alone.
10:57We can't go without mentioning one more thing about the ship Eldridge.
11:01After the end of the experiment, the ship enters the Greek fleet under the name Leon.
11:07It's interesting what the Greek journalist Pantolos discovers when he goes to find out if such an experiment was really carried out.
11:15He inspects the entire ship including the ship's log book and also manages to get an interview
11:22from two officers who served Leon.
11:26One of them served as a captain of Leon and when he realized that the entire Greek fleet
11:31but himself knew that the Leon was the famous destroyer Eldridge of the Philadelphia experiment,
11:36he noticed two strange things.
11:39Well, one of them, he says the following.
11:41The pages of the ship's log corresponding to the time of the experiment are missing.
11:46They are torn off.
11:48I asked three other captains who had served on the Leon before and they all replied that
11:53the pages had been missing from the log since the ship had passed to the Greek fleet.
12:01The other strange thing, the accounts of the crew members who claimed to have seen strange
12:06things on the ship, something like ghosts or phantoms, and that several times their belongings
12:11having disappeared suddenly, were later found in another place.
12:16Some claimed to have seen a greenish light enveloping the ship at night.
12:21If the testimony of this officer sounds strange, the words of the other who served on the ship
12:27as a chief engineer are no less weird.
12:30The first thing that struck me, the sailor recalled, was the unusual amount of cables stretched throughout
12:37the ship as if they were remnants of a complex system of electrical equipment used here in
12:44the past.
12:45This marine engineer added that he sometimes notices a strange vibration throughout the
12:50hull when the engines were running as if the ship was under repair in dock.
12:56I was with one of the officers and I thought an earthquake was starting but then I realized
13:01that there was no seismic activity in the area where we were that day, he explains.
13:07What can explain all this?
13:10Just self-suggestion or an echo of the strange phenomena that somehow got ridden into the structure
13:16of the ship.
13:20Now we'll go back to the time of conducting the experiment.
13:23The interesting moment is that the two brothers, Duncan and Edward Cameron, start to run away
13:28from the ship.
13:29They suddenly find themselves 40 years later, miles from the port in Philadelphia.
13:35The two travel through time, return and then detail classified information about US projects
13:42that gives us an idea of what happened to the Eldred Ship and the Philadelphia Experiment.
13:48How did this happen and did it really happen?
13:52The Philadelphia Experiment took place on August 12, 1943 but 40 years later on August 12, 1983,
14:01The same experiment was conducted again and Al Bielek claimed to have the memories of Edward
14:07Cameron's life as according to him, the secret government was given alien technology with
14:14which a person could regress to any age.
14:18Consequently, this statement was confirmed and Leading Edge News contacted Al and conducted
14:24an open interview to find out what really happened.
14:28Stay until the end to hear the whole story and see some of the predictions he made for
14:32the future.
14:35Bielek told his story to an audience at the Mutual UFO Network conference in 1990, saying not only
14:42that the Philadelphia Experiment was real but that he and his brother were on board when
14:47it happened.
14:48He said that none other than Nikola Tesla himself designed the equipment that caused Eldredge
14:53to escape from space-time and that even opened a wormhole to the future that dropped the two
15:00brothers into the middle of the Hero Montauk camp on August 12, 1983.
15:08Surely many of us would like to be in his place at least for a while.
15:11He was born in 1927 in America and worked for various military subcontractors.
15:17He participated in secret projects related to time travel, meetings with extraterrestrials
15:23and top secret inventions that we either read about in the books or we see in the movies.
15:29Assisted and created various covert and secret programs such as psychological operations involving
15:34the search for UFOs, which the Pentagon has officially recognized as true.
15:40The oldest has a price.
15:42And because of this, Bielek is deprived of his family, memories and identity.
15:48Technology was often used on him with which his memories were erased but of course, like
15:54any technology, this one also made its mistakes.
15:57And after a while, the process was reversed and he not only remembered everything erased but
16:03also received glimpses of the future.
16:06The age regression technique had been traced back to Nikola Tesla.
16:10While working on the original Philadelphia experiment, he developed a device to help sailors in case
16:16they lost their time points.
16:18The purpose of this device was to restore an individual to their normal time lock in case
16:24they were disoriented as a result of time travel.
16:28The government or someone used this Tesla device and developed it for temporal regression
16:33of the body.
16:34Tesla said that if an individual's time points were moved forward in time, it could remove
16:40age.
16:41If someone's time points are moved back 20 years, the body will be relative to the age.
16:48Edward Cameron has become Al Bielek.
16:51Al grew up with his own identity and education and became an engineer.
16:57Finally he started working in Montauk.
16:59Here is what he explained in an interview.
17:02Bielek and his brother Duncan were naval officers aboard the ship Eldridge involved in the experiment
17:08aimed at achieving invisibility.
17:10The first test on July 22, 1943 was successful in achieving radar sight and camera invisibility,
17:18but the people on board were badly affected by the electromagnetic radiation leaving them
17:24disoriented and ill.
17:27During the experiment, Bielek and Duncan were in the control room and were shielded from
17:31the radiation.
17:33The Navy scheduled a second test for August 12 and set a deadline.
17:38The ship was meant to shift in time making it invisible.
17:42However, after about 30 seconds of the experiment starting, the equipment went crazy and Bielek and
17:48Duncan observed strange effects in the control room, including electronic lights blinking
17:54in waves and high voltage arcs appearing despite no high voltage equipment in the room.
18:01They tried to reach someone on the radio but only heard crackling.
18:05When they went outside onto the deck, they saw a greenish mist and disoriented sailors running
18:12in circles.
18:13Bielek and his brother decided to jump off the board and swim to shore but they never reached
18:19the water.
18:20They felt like they were falling through a tunnel and ended up at a military base in Long Island,
18:25New York.
18:28They were immediately caught by the military police and brought underground to meet an elderly
18:33civilian who claimed to be Dr. von Neumann.
18:37He told them that they were no longer in 1943 but in 1983 and welcomed them to Project Phoenix
18:45in Montauk.
18:46They were shown around the base and saw advanced technology that did not exist in 1943.
18:52Von Neumann explained to them that their ship was still in hyperspace and the bubble around
18:58it was growing.
18:59They were sent back to the ship to break the equipment because Montauk had complete control
19:04over space and time and could send them anywhere at any time.
19:08If they did not destroy the equipment, the bubble could encompass the entire planet.
19:13So something had to be done to stop it from growing.
19:17They were sent back to the ship to break the equipment.
19:20Bielek explains that they were skeptical at first but they were sent back in time to the
19:25Eldritch.
19:26Their instructions were to destroy the equipment any way they could so they began smashing the
19:31equipment until the generators stopped.
19:35However, before the ship reappeared in port, they saw that some of the sailors had been
19:40buried in the steel deck and bulkhead of the ship including their younger brother Jim.
19:47He explained that this happened because during the rematerialization process from hyperspace
19:53into our reality, the molecular structure of the sailors' bodies shifted causing them to
19:59remain in a liquid state.
20:01If they found themselves near a wall during this process, they got stuck in.
20:06Bielek and Duncan did not completely avoid this tragedy.
20:10Jim died that way stuck in the steel and Duncan jumped again before the fields broke up and
20:15completely went to 1983 or somewhere around that time.
20:21Bielek stayed on board and the fields again materialized.
20:27You lost your two brothers and traveled 40 years in time.
20:30Is it enough to drive the average person crazy?
20:33Yes, however, I remained normal, probably because of my training.
20:38Maybe I was chosen for this job by someone who knew more than myself.
20:42I've often asked myself, why me?
20:46When you travel in time, what is considered the present?
20:49Now is where you are.
20:51Your starting point is where you were born.
20:54There occurs a lock in time.
20:56Even as you move forward or backward in the flow of time, your starting point remains the
21:01same.
21:02Have you witnessed an alien intervention?
21:05In 1943, I did not see aliens.
21:09After that, we realized that they were there.
21:12I have a picture of Valiant Thor being coming from under the surface of Venus made on Eldridge.
21:19The aliens were heavily involved in the Montauk.
21:22They were there, apparently mostly between 1973 and 1983, when they were helping with
21:29the time tunnels.
21:31When asked why the government lets him speak so openly, Bielek says he can't explain it,
21:36but he has said enough things that others have been crucified for, yet no one has said anything
21:42to him.
21:43He encourages people to do their own research and investigate as there are enough documents
21:47available to support his claims.
21:50Bielek also gives information about the future.
21:53He says that doctors of the future use vibrating and light equipment for treatment, which is quite
21:59permissible and logical.
22:02He also says that the climate of the entire planet is going to be different and the US and
22:07Europe are much changed from what we see today.
22:10The central government will be collapsing and the world's population reaching 300 million
22:16people.
22:17Bielek died at the age of 84 or 94, if we accept his version, and was buried in Mexico.
22:25Whether Al Bielek's account proves the existence of a real-time machine, space-time travel and
22:31top-secret experiments that government doesn't want us to know about, we can't say for sure.
22:36But we think that this, unlike many other topics we have considered, is not a big mystery.
22:42For we, ourselves know that if there is so much information circulating freely on the
22:47same topic, even if it seems false on the surface, there are common roots and the truth
22:54is somewhere there.
22:56We bow before you and thank you for watching another episode of Secret Origins.
23:01Keep your minds open and until we meet again.
23:06you
