00:00Rick Knox, your referee. Introducing first to my right, he weighs in at 285 pounds, from American Samoa, Samoa Jones!
00:30Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
00:35His opponent to my left, he weighs in at 185 pounds, from poverty in Washington, American Greg!
00:52American Dragon and Samoa Joe, your main event of the evening. These two men have squared off in the past, and now the stakes are even higher.
01:11Absolutely, these two men in a tag match at our last event, and much like most of the matches, a lot of dissension. There's a lot of dissension in PWG.
01:23You see, what happens is each wrestler, you know, they have their own, I would say, opinion of themselves and where they should be, you know, in terms of the wrestling world, the pecking order, if you will.
01:37And, you know, when two people think that, you know, or when one person thinks that someone else stands in their way in the pecking order of professional wrestling, they will take out their aggressions on the other man.
01:50And in this case, I believe it was American Dragon taking out his aggressions on Samoa Joe.
01:57Absolutely, and it kind of, like, makes my heart sad, but there's fragile egos in wrestling.
02:06There, you know, there's, I would say that the only, the only place with more fragile egos would be the field of puppetry.
02:16Those guys cannot take, you know, they cannot take a criticism worth of salt, you know, like, they, they are very protective of their craft, you know, they, you know, if they, if they don't sink the lips of the character up and, you know, well enough with the speaking voice, and you, you were to call them out on that, they would get, you know, very, I would say, annoyed, you know, almost angry.
02:41They, they, they like to keep, even their, people that are against them in the puppetry world, you know, they like to say, hey, you know, you're not my equal, but you better be damn well close to me, because, you know, we're all excellent in those fields.
02:55They say, we, we are a brotherhood of puppeteers, much like, you know, in professional wrestling, there is a, uh, so-called brotherhood, I have not seen, it's not very prevalent, you know, in the scene today.
03:08However, oh, here we see Samoa Joe and American Dragon having fun at the expense of pro wrestling gorilla.
03:16Our, our athletes named, well, now athlete named show, The Musical.
03:21Absolutely.
03:22Comes to fruition.
03:23Do a little West Side Story.
03:24Yes, the, the, the sharks and the jets.
03:27That's right.
03:29Now, who would you say is a shark, and who would you say is a jet?
03:33I would have to say.
03:35Can I, can I finish my own joke?
03:37Yes.
03:38I, I, I kicked it back to you.
03:39It was a rhetorical question.
03:40No, not really.
03:41To me it was.
03:42Well, okay, to you it was, and to everybody else listening it was.
03:44But I kicked it back to you with the intention of setting you up for the punchline, but then I thought of something that was, you know, really good.
03:53So I'll say, okay.
03:54I would say that American Dragon is the jets because he flies through the air with his diving headbutt.
04:01And I would say that Samoa Joe is the shark because much like the majestic great white shark, he likes to eat.
04:09Wow.
04:10And because he's Samoan, he likes to eat babies.
04:14Ah.
04:15Bravo.
04:17And bravo.
04:18Inexplicably, fans at home will not know this, but I just raised my hands.
04:23Like, you know, I was, I was hushing an audience that was applauding me.
04:26When really it's just myself and disco machine in the little room.
04:29And, and my cat, Jato.
04:31I don't, actually I do.
04:32Which Jato may have left a home.
04:33Your cat sleeping on the steps.
04:35Okay.
04:36Your cat could not be less interested by our commentary.
04:39Well, Jato is not part of the broadcasting team.
04:41What's ever very interesting is this match, American Dragon escaping Samoa Joe's arm wringer
04:48and applying pressure to Samoa Joe's arm with aid of the middle rope.
04:53Whoa.
04:54American Dragon having some fun gyrating.
04:59Samoa Joe is just, he's stricken clueless by American Dragon.
05:05American Dragon stealing a page out of the disco machine playbook.
05:09He is, you should, I would sue him for copyright infringement.
05:12Well, I do it, I do it on a daily basis.
05:14Do not, you know.
05:15You sue people or are you infringing on copyrights?
05:18Uh, a little bit of both.
05:19I assume.
05:20A little hush hush hush hush.
05:22Dropped toehold by American Dragon.
05:24Joe protecting that neck, protecting his throat, not, trying to prevent American Dragon
05:29from getting a face lock on him, but American Dragon just goes higher up and gets that big
05:34broad nose of Samoa Joe's in a face lock.
05:37Oh, excuse me, the Mongolian beef again makes its return to my esophagus.
05:43Like the great Mongolian chops of Killer Khan, straight to your esophagus.
05:48Killer Khan, we come full circle, was referenced in our second match and now in our final match.
05:54Absolutely.
05:55Samoa Joe wasn't a pinning predicament.
05:59Now, picks American Dragon up, going for that half crab.
06:02Samoa Joe trying to flip over American Dragon, trying to get the leverage and now instead flip, changes in mid move from the half crab to a very painful looking submission.
06:15Absolutely.
06:16With the knee to the back of the neck and ear of American Dragon, really stretching out that
06:22leg now.
06:23Now, uh, Samoa Joe loves crab salad.
06:26He does and he loves crab legs.
06:28Uh, when, when lobster, uh, or red lobster has all you can eat crab, they close their doors
06:34when they see Joe coming because they know he has a voracious appetite and he will eat those
06:39people out of house and home.
06:40Absolutely.
06:41Voracious.
06:42Voracious.
06:43Voracious.
06:44Yes.
06:45Fantastic.
06:46Now, I mock Samoa Joe not in any seriousness.
06:52I, you know, I, you know, in a playful manner.
06:56Because number one, he's in the main event, you know, of a very looked forward to match, which
07:03means that he's a better wrestler than I.
07:06And number two, he's a bigger, tougher, and stronger man than I am.
07:10So, you know, I would hope that Joe knows anything.
07:13I believe he does.
07:14He has a very good sense of humor.
07:16But he does not show it to American Dragon.
07:18Now, the Samoans, well known for their hard, hard heads, much like the extra hard concrete
07:25of the Elks Lodge, Samoa Joe could crack 300 coconuts in a row with that hard head of his
07:32and not feel a thing.
07:34Absolutely.
07:35Much like in Japan, the foot can split a brick or a watermelon.
07:40Yes.
07:41In Samoa, the head can split 300 coconuts.
07:43Yes.
07:44It is.
07:45And Samoa Joe just twisting American Dragon into a pretzel, reminiscent of American Dragon
07:51twisting me into some sort of pretzel or salted snack.
07:55Mr. Salty, you were.
07:57I was.
07:58When you were self-polleting yourself.
08:00It was a salted.
08:01An assaulted nut, if you will.
08:03What more must I do?
08:08That reference was false.
08:10That's okay.
08:11And here we see American Dragon going behind Samoa Joe.
08:14Again, working into a facelock.
08:17Putting his foot in the back of his knee.
08:19In the back of Samoa Joe's knee.
08:20Dropping him down.
08:21And now choking Joe with his own hands.
08:23You can see Joe's face.
08:24The breath is being driven out of his throat.
08:27It is very tough for Joe to draw breaths.
08:29And American Dragon just making it very painful by driving knees into the small of the back
08:33of Samoa Joe.
08:34Those big lungs are not getting that much needed oxygen.
08:38And now falling back and stretching him in that straight jacket type maneuver.
08:44Much like that last bit of toothpaste that's in the tube.
08:47American Dragon attempts to squeeze the last bit of oxygen out of the lungs of Samoa Joe.
08:52You know, I've actually taken the container and actually cut it open.
08:58And that's how you get the last one.
09:00That's right.
09:01I've been that poor, even though I make millions of dollars now.
09:05Now, here's a funny thing.
09:07I would like to think that if I won the lottery tomorrow, I would still use the entire tube of toothpaste.
09:14Samoa Joe was in a cravat applied by American Dragon.
09:18But instead, he used his power, he used his size advantage to pick American Dragon up out of that move
09:26and just slam him down to the man.
09:29Unbelievable.
09:30This man is so strong, you know.
09:32And he's, well, they go right back.
09:35This is interesting.
09:36After all that, it's almost as if they started the match over because they're both at the same strength.
09:42They're both back up to a vertical base and now Samoa Joe just rubbing the forearm, the hard side of his forearm, right across the face, the eyes, and the nose of American Dragon.
09:53And here's a little hint for you folks at home.
09:56To gain the upper hand in wrestling, some wrestlers will take Bengay or a cream like that and apply it to their forearm.
10:05So when they rub their forearm across the eyes of their opponent, they will blind their opponent giving them a momentary, sometimes permanent advantage in the match.
10:16Wow, I did not know that.
10:18The dirtiest player in the game, Ric Flair, taught me that one.
10:22Did he really?
10:23No.
10:24Okay.
10:25I've never met Ric Flair in my life.
10:26Samoa Joe on the receiving end of a baseball sliding drop kick.
10:30And now American Dragon about to tope Samoa Joe, but Samoa Joe wisely moves out of the way, but perhaps set himself up in position for a Piscato, the fish, if you will.
10:43Oh, no, again, a baseball sliding drop kick by American Dragon.
10:46What the hell?
10:47Oh, my God!
10:49American Dragon, a springboard tope con hello.
10:55You do not see American Dragon do that move ever.
11:00I have never seen American Dragon do anything springboard, let alone a dive.
11:05I've seen him do the tope many times, but a springboard?
11:09I would say that that's the first time I've seen American Dragon even think about that dive.
11:16Not that I can see what American Dragon thinks.
11:19Oh, American Dragon again.
11:21Whoa!
11:22Now, okay.
11:23Going for Shawn Michaels right there.
11:25No, no, no, no.
11:26American Dragon is a very, very different man since he's returned from England.
11:31Okay.
11:32He used to be very focused.
11:34You know, he would not allow, again, the Mongolian beef, excuse me.
11:39He would not allow himself to indulge in little things like that into the flexing, the posing, the appeals to the fans.
11:48Oh, my God!
11:49Oh, my God!
11:50American Dragon suplex from the ring apron to the outside by Samoa Joe.
11:55Samoa Joe just using his weight advantage and the leverage of the ropes, creating a fulcrum with the ropes, a term I did not learn from you but was reminded of by you.
12:07And now, much like Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp, it is a running theme here in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla DVDs.
12:14Absolutely.
12:15And American Dragon is just feeling the effects of that, you know, that suplex to the floor.
12:22And those kicks, not really for injury, more for insult by Samoa Joe.
12:26Anyway, as I was saying, and that may be an example of it.
12:31Now, American Dragon allows himself to be distracted by the fans, by what the fans think of him.
12:37And he will appeal to the crowd, he will flex, he will pose, he will jaw with the crowd before American Dragon would not do that.
12:45And I don't know if he lost a match before he went to England.
12:48He may have, we'll have to check the record books.
12:51But since he's come back, American Dragon, not that he's on a losing streak, but you see him lose more often than he wins, one might say.
13:00He's lost his temper many times in PWG.
13:03And that has led to him losing matches, to him throwing away what seems victories.
13:08And I would not be surprised to see Samoa Joe come up with a victory because American Dragon is distracted.
13:13He allowed that distraction to, you know, give Samoa Joe the advantage of suplexing him to the floor.
13:19And now American Dragon is back in the seats of fans.
13:22Here we see the fans. Olé, olé, olé.
13:26Bootstraps to American Dragon, sending him into the second row of the crowd here at the Elks Lodge.
13:34Sending American Dragon right into that theater-type seating at the Elks Lodge.
13:40The theater-type seating, which is conducive to sleeping.
13:44Oh, Samoa Joe just punching American Dragon in the face. Olé, olé, olé again.
13:49And Joe jogging. Boot slide right to the face of American Dragon.
13:55I would not be surprised if American Dragon's facial features were now on the back of his head.
14:00And when you looked at American Dragon in the place where his eyes would be, you would see his luxurious shaved head.
14:06Samoa Joe, breaking the count. Breaking the 20 count. A very wise mover.
14:11This match could have ended early in a double count-out, which is not very common in wrestling nowadays.
14:16And has never before happened in pro wrestling ever.
14:19American Dragon putting that chop in, but falling down because, remember, that knee would hurt on that suplex.
14:25Yeah, but look at Samoa Joe. He is shocked by that chop.
14:29You know, people think chops are just, you know, something to put into a match, but no.
14:34They do have a resounding effect. They can knock the air out of your lungs.
14:38They can knock a man down to the floor like we see American Dragon knock down.
14:41You know, they have turned the ties in many matches.
14:45And now Samoa Joe, after that, you know, small comeback by American Dragon, Samoa Joe is able to maintain the upper hand in this match.
14:52Now, I don't know if these men have faced, I know they've faced each other many, many times, but I have to think, it's got to be pretty even.
15:01These two men have been in rings around the world, but I'm sure neither man has, you know, an advantage as far as, like, win-loss.
15:08I, you know, I would have to be some sort of mathematician or statistician. I'm not sure which one, though the term stat leads me to believe that the term would be mathematician.
15:19Anyway, Samoa Joe just dropping a knee right on the chest of American Dragon.
15:24You know, these two men, while they've taken very different paths, have, you know, their different paths have brought them to the same place in professional wrestling.
15:35Both men attend the New Japan Dojo. Both men are highly regarded as some of the best unsigned wrestlers in the world today.
15:43And both men are feared by, you know, competitor, foe, and ally alike.
15:50Absolutely. No man wants to stand in the ring and think that they're gonna win against either of these two men.
15:55So, putting these two men together, it's a very even matchup. Even though Joe has a size advantage, American Dragon has wrestled all over the world.
16:03Yes, I would definitely give a technical advantage to Samoa Joe, or to American Dragon, and here you see Samoa Joe showing what he's best at.
16:10Brutalizing his opponent, using that size, laying in powerful punches and kicks, you know, with added emphasis by his weight, by his size.
16:19You know, I might make fun of Joe's size, but that size is what allows him to be so powerful with his punches and with his kicks.
16:28Now, something also very interesting here, Samoa Joe, really delving out, delving out?
16:34Del, doling out.
16:35No, it's doling. It's doling out of the punishment here, but not going for the pin.
16:40Now, so, neither of these two men have really had a sound game plan, so they're winning.
16:44I'll tell you why.
16:45Okay.
16:46Both of these men, they train five, sometimes seven days a week, you know, at the New Japan Dojo.
16:53Both men know the ins and the outs, you know.
16:56Like, as far as the last six months are concerned, these men have worked side by side at the New Japan Dojo.
17:02What one knows, the other knows.
17:05So, Samoa Joe, I would say, he has a very sound game plan for winning.
17:09He is dishing out the maximum amount of punishment to American Dragon.
17:12He is laying in with those chops, with those kicks, with those headbutts.
17:16He is making American Dragon work to stand up to his feet.
17:21American Dragon, you know, getting up off the ground is a very easy task.
17:26After you've been beaten and brutalized by someone like Samoa Joe, you have to work to get to your feet, let alone to suplex somebody, let alone to suplex somebody the size of Samoa Joe.
17:37Therefore, Samoa Joe, I would say, his game plan is very sound.
17:40Absolutely.
17:41And if you beat him down and then cover him quick, you know, you're not going to have your wits about you.
17:45You know, it could be over in the three count.
17:47Very true.
17:48Just as we saw Joe get shocked earlier by those chops to the chest, American Dragon again shocking Joe with a flurry of European-style uppercuts.
17:55And Samoa Joe sweeping out that damaged leg of American Dragon.
17:59You could see American Dragon just clutching that knee, that injured leg.
18:03And Samoa Joe knew that he was in trouble with that series of European uppercuts.
18:08And he knew he had to think quickly to act fast.
18:11The first one shocked him.
18:12The second one brought him back to reality.
18:14And the third one just pissed him off.
18:16Absolutely.
18:17And a very interesting little thing that Samoa Joe did there.
18:21Hooking the injured knee on that pin.
18:25That's very true.
18:26When you hook the leg, you take away the leverage of your opponent in kicking out.
18:31You know, if their legs are off the canvas, they can't use that canvas as a base to bring their shoulders up off the mat.
18:37If their legs are up in the air, especially if their injured leg are up in the air, they have even less leverage.
18:42Now Samoa Joe picking American Dragon up and rolling him over into a Boston crowd, stretching that knee.
18:48And also, with that added weight, just sitting on the upper back, adding pressure to the lower back and the knee of American Dragon.
18:57Samoa Joe also a favorite of Boston baked beans.
19:02Samoa Joe really sinking it in here.
19:08This could be it.
19:09This man, how can American Dragon get out of this one?
19:13Samoa Joe with that modified, modified in a good way, Boston crowd, there's a name for it.
19:20No mistake here.
19:21Yeah, there's a name for it.
19:22I don't know.
19:23Samoa Joe just, his face showed, you know, it showed exactly what he was thinking.
19:28He was disappointed that American Dragon got to the ropes there.
19:30He knew he had him in a situation where the match could have easily ended.
19:34However, Samoa Joe allowed American Dragon, not out of, you know, arrogance, he just wasn't thinking.
19:40He didn't think of how close American Dragon was to the ropes.
19:43American Dragon allowed him to crawl his way to the ring.
19:45And the simplest moves are sometimes the most effective.
19:48A body slam and a drop of the knee by Samoa Joe.
19:51Now Joe going up top.
19:53Just from the machine, we do not see Samoa Joe go up top very often.
19:56Absolutely.
19:57And this is why American Dragon really caught him up there and gives him a big European uppercut.
20:01What could this be?
20:03And now American Dragon ascending to the top rope.
20:05And he could be going for a superplex on Samoa Joe.
20:09That injured leg preventing him from quickly, nimbly climbing up to the top rope.
20:13Samoa Joe, he's trying to block, he's trying to escape.
20:16And now superplexed by American Dragon onto Samoa Joe.
20:20The impact, though, affected both men.
20:23Joe took the brunt of it.
20:24But American Dragon, in order to suplex somebody that size, you know, he had to put a lot of himself on the line to accomplish that maneuver.
20:31And could this be it?
20:32Two count only for American Dragon.
20:34He risked it all.
20:35But it was not enough to put away Samoa Joe.
20:37Well, very interesting there.
20:39American Dragon going for the cover instead of buying him a valuable time.
20:43Now we see American Dragon applying the very submission that finished a very large man, Brad Bradley.
20:49Earlier on in the year in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Brad Bradley was put down by the submission move.
20:54An unorthodox attack on the other man.
20:57And Samoa Joe is, you know, he has no leverage from this position.
21:01He's on his stomach.
21:02He can't roll over.
21:03His neck is being stretched back.
21:05And he is in a very painful position.
21:07But American Dragon not, you know, not having the ring sense probably because of the beating dished out by Samoa Joe.
21:14Allowed Joe to get too close to the ropes and escape that submission move.
21:17Maybe couldn't get it all because of that injured knee as well.
21:19Very true, very true.
21:20Another chop to the chest of Samoa Joe.
21:23Driving home the fact that he too can strike, that he too can hit like a baseball bat.
21:29Just, you know, just chopping the skin off the chest of Samoa Joe.
21:33Samoa Joe.
21:34A very quick punchline.
21:35This is it.
21:36Two count.
21:37And now he rolls over into a cross arm breaker.
21:40Samoa Joe attacking the arm now of American Dragon.
21:43American Dragon extends that injured knee to the ropes and breaks up the cross arm breaker.
21:47Very underrated how fast Samoa Joe is.
21:50He can, like, put you away in an instant.
21:53In a blink of an eye, the tide can change.
21:56Samoa Joe can change the outcome of a match just by, you know, just by applying his size and his agility.
22:03You know, you think a guy is big and he cannot be fast.
22:06But Samoa Joe is, I don't want to say he's the exception to the rule, but he is definitely not the norm.
22:11Spine Buster by Samoa Joe.
22:13This could be it.
22:14Oh, now he's out of it.
22:15Wow, working the knee, working the arm, and now going for that back.
22:20He's really taking it to the American Dragon.
22:22And I don't know how much more American Dragon can take.
22:24American Dragon has been on the receiving end of Samoa Joe's offense.
22:29American Dragon, he's got in a few shots here and there.
22:32Oh!
22:33Diving European uppercut.
22:34Take Samoa Joe off his feet.
22:36It's not very often you see a strike take Samoa Joe off his feet.
22:40But a diving European uppercut like that, which catches a man right under the jaw.
22:45You hear the term glass jaw in boxing.
22:47When your jaw is snapped up like that, your head is rattled and it just, you know, it stuns you.
22:52It just knocks you off your feet.
22:53And American Dragon very narrowly missed having a three count fall on Samoa Joe.
22:59This is the intangible quality of American Dragon.
23:01Even though he's taking all this punishment, he gives one maneuver and he just goes right straight for the pin.
23:06Not taking any chance to rest and always wants to put the offense in the...
23:10Tiger mask style suplex.
23:13Just cranking the neck of Samoa Joe.
23:16Whipping him over.
23:17Now ascending to the top rope.
23:18The jet.
23:19Oh!
23:20Now Samoa Joe gets his boot up and plants it firmly in the face of American Dragon.
23:24American Dragon still though may have caught Samoa Joe with the diving headbutt.
23:31Well, Samoa Joe, they're both down at this point.
23:34How many minutes has this match gone already?
23:36This match must be nearing its 30 minute time limit.
23:40However, I would say Samoa Joe is now in position to finish this match.
23:45No!
23:46American Dragon is trying to exchange shots with Samoa Joe.
23:50But, you know, Samoa Joe, you can't go toe to toe with Joe as the expression is said.
23:56Now American Dragon trying to go for an abdominal stretch.
24:00Both men go out of the ring as Joe avoids that abdominal stretch.
24:04Referee Rick Knox follows the action out.
24:07Please don't let this be a count out.
24:09This match has to continue.
24:11Rick Knox going back in the ring putting the count on him.
24:14This would be a shame if this match went to a count out.
24:17All the fans in PWG would like to see a finish to this match.
24:20The abdominal stretch, a very underrated maneuver.
24:23You know, American Dragon has finished men before with the abdominal stretch in pro Samarillo.
24:29Oh, just Joe and American Dragon brawling on the outside, exchanging kicks, exchanging punches.
24:35Oh, just chops to the chest.
24:37Just a brutal, brutal display.
24:40You'd see this in a prize fight, not a wrestling match.
24:44Absolutely.
24:45Big European uppercut.
24:47I was kicked by Samoa Joe.
24:49As I was saying, American Dragon training at the New Japan Dojo.
24:52Picking up the abdominal stretch from Antonio Inoki himself.
24:57Antonio Inoki using that move over the years to pick up a great number of victories.
25:01And now American Dragon has perfected his technique.
25:04He will apply the abdominal stretch to Samoa Joe.
25:07And that could easily be it for Samoa Joe.
25:10Big, huge kicks by Samoa Joe.
25:12Another chop to that chest.
25:14And it just has all those bloodbusters probably like busted open on him.
25:17And now a cravat and a knee to the chest and jaw of Samoa Joe.
25:22Now American Dragon, with those European uppercuts, with that knee, he's concentrating on the...
25:28He could be going for a knockout in this match.
25:31Absolutely.
25:32Now is he gonna do the boot scrapes?
25:33Ole, ole, ole, my friends.
25:36American Dragon, again, appealing to the fans, not something you see very often.
25:40Oh!
25:41Just a diving dropkick to the face of Samoa Joe.
25:45Again, with those strikes to the head of Samoa Joe.
25:49Samoa Joe is very thick-headed being Samoan and all.
25:52But if you get beat around the head enough, it will put you down on the canvas.
25:57And sometimes it puts you down long enough for the referee to count a ten and consider you knocked out.
26:04Big vertical suplex on the outside, on that extra hard concrete the Elks Lodge had poured just for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
26:12Minutes before this match.
26:14That's true.
26:15You know, before this...
26:16Samoa Joe could be going for the nesty plunge.
26:19Just diving elbow drop, but he misses.
26:21American Dragon rolls out of the way.
26:23He saw Joe jumping off the ring apron.
26:26And referee Rick Knox, I know, he wants the...
26:29He knows...
26:30He wants what the fans wants.
26:31He knows what the fans want.
26:33This match...
26:34He wants this match to come to a conclusion.
26:35I would say these men have been brawling on the outside for more than two minutes.
26:38But referee Rick Knox, for the sake of giving the fans a satisfactory conclusion, he forsakes the 20 count on the outside and allows these men to continue this match on the outside.
26:51And now, on the inside of the ring, Samoa Joe does not want American Dragon to be able to turn over that half crab.
26:57But American Dragon does turn over that half crab.
26:59Puts his knee in the smaller back of Joe.
27:01For the leverage, Joe, unfortunately, for American Dragon, grabs the ropes and is able to escape the submission hold.
27:07It was Samoa Joe working over the knee of American Dragon.
27:11Now, American Dragon working over the knee of big Samoa Joe.
27:14Now, oh, the big clubbing forearms across the face.
27:18Now, could this be a modified, again, in a good way, dragon screw on Samoa Joe, taking that knee from a straight position and turning it to an outward facing position?
27:32And for a man with the legs the size of Samoa Joe, that is a very, very uncomfortable thing to have happen.
27:38Now, American Dragon, could he have been taking a page out of the great Muhammad Ali, a man who fought the great Antonio Inoki?
27:45Could he be taking a page out of Muhammad Ali's playbook and taking all that punishment for the sake of a rope-a-dope?
27:52Wow. I think that's a stretch. It might not be.
27:58Here I am calling the greatest match of my life.
28:02And Samoa Joe, in the greatest maneuver of his life, changes the course of this match in STO,
28:08driving American Dragon head-first down into the mat and allowing Samoa Joe to catch his breath,
28:15to allow him to nurse that injured knee and, you know, gain the upper hand on American Dragon all in one fell swoop.
28:23Now, each man has had the advantage of this match now. It's just more chops, slaps to the face.
28:29Samoa Joe losing his control, losing his temper, and it's going to put it to American Dragon.
28:35A big punch to the face, a slap across the face as well.
28:39Nothing fancy about a punch to the face. For as ugly as it is, it is effective.
28:44Here we see American Dragon returning to those European uppercuts, getting right under the jaw of Samoa Joe.
28:50You know, you can hit a man a hundred times and he won't fall down, but you can hit a man once and he'll fall down and be out for, you know, he'll be down for the count.
28:58And American Dragon, right here, into his finish of the count of mutilation.
29:01But Samoa Joe knows it's coming and he reverses out of it.
29:04Now Joe dazed out on his feet and allows American Dragon to hit him right square in front of the forearm.
29:09One, two.
29:10Two count only for American Dragon. I thought that, I thought this match was over with.
29:15I have never seen anybody reverse the cattle mutilation. That was a fantastic maneuver.
29:20And it seemed real simple for Samoa Joe. Which, that goes back to their training together.
29:25Yes, Samoa Joe knows the cattle mutilation intimately. He has had it applied in training sessions by American Dragon.
29:32And, you know, a student of the game of professional wrestling.
29:35Oh! Samoa Joe throwing his entire weight behind that lariat, knocking American Dragon right off of his feet and down to the canvas.
29:44Turning him inside out. These men down again. No man can take a decided advantage.
29:50But Samoa Joe, could he be going back to that Boston Crab?
29:54The half crab. Samoa Joe picking him up. A Boston crab. Again, applying the knee to the back of American Dragon.
30:02This has to do it. American Dragon. He's feeling the pain.
30:05And a very interesting note, disco machine. We haven't brought this up, but forgive me for emphasizing this.
30:11Frank Kazarian, Adam Pearce, Baby Slim. Three men that you often see in the main events here in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
30:22Three men which were suspended last show by Commissioner Paul T.
30:26Frank Kazarian and Adam Pearce in, you know, in hot contention for the PWG title.
30:33Usually in the main event. Not in the main event because of their suspension.
30:38Therefore, we are able to bring the fans this match with Samoa Joe and American Dragon.
30:43And what a doozy of a match it's been.
30:45Absolutely. These two men really putting it, taking it to each other.
30:49And they will not give anything to each other. They will not go down.
30:53Samoa Joe now just, he reverts to the most basic of attacks.
30:58He is on American Dragon's back. He's using his body weight to drive the air out of American Dragon.
31:03And he's using his big arms to cut the oxygen flow.
31:07That was it. 30 minutes. This match is over. It ends in a draw.
31:12A draw? Unbelievable. These men could not knock each other out for the three count in 30 minutes.
31:20What is it going to take?
31:22Thank you, Disco Machine. And thank you, myself, Excalibur. Excalibur. Excalibur. I suddenly turned Mexican.

34:22Hell, you're the pedophile world champion.
34:28I dare you to come out of here and fight me man to man.
34:38Do you know what, fellas?
34:43It looks like he's not coming because he's a brain A pussy.
34:50Now at the next PWG show, I'm going to be in Japan fighting in the Super Junior tournament.
34:58And when I come back, I challenge either of those knuckleheads to come in this ring and
35:11fight me one on one because tonight Joe had over 100 pounds on me and he still couldn't
35:17beat the American dream.
35:24And in closing, I'd also like to add that I'm a far superior dancer than Samoa Joe.
35:38Goodbye.
