00:00And now the match that everybody has been waiting for, the reason that this weekend is an all-star weekend, low-key making it, this is a PWG debut weekend, a successful debut last night against David Richards, taking on
00:29the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe.
00:34Very, very highly anticipated. I remember people coming up to me and saying that this is the reason why they were coming to these shows, just to see this main event. And it's going to be a hotly contested match, that is for sure. Hard-hitting, definitely.
00:53And this is the first time that this match has ever taken place in Southern California. I believe only the third time that these two men have met in singing competition in their careers. And so this is definitely something very, very exciting for the fans, you know, not only for the fans, but for us as well, as, you know, as commentators and as fans of professionalism.
01:15That's right. And low-key, who does give up worth a bit of weight, I would say low-key probably gives up 100 pounds to Samojo, if not, maybe a little more than that. But, and definitely gives up, well, obviously five inches, maybe five and a half inches to Samojo in height.
01:32No, maybe not that much, four inches. But nonetheless, 100 pounds to four inches is a lot to have to make up for. And if anybody can do it, I think low-key can do it.
01:42That's right. And both very tentative, but also showing their martial arts backgrounds right here. And thank you for backing him up.
01:52Backing Joe up. I mean, Joe just throws out a kick like that. And I think it stunned low-key a little bit. He wasn't expecting a counterattack just yet.
02:01But, you know, we have seen Samojo take on Smaller Man in PWD before. And, you know, the Smaller Man not always successful. I believe that astonishing X-mas, Davey Richards took on Samojo, was defeated by Samojo, but nonetheless had a very good showing.
02:18And I think low-key, after defeating Giddy Richards last night, hopes to use that momentum to his advantage and defeat Samojo here tonight.
02:28That's right.
02:30Low-key, yeah, well, he hasn't had a predicament, but...
02:34Looks like a cross and heartbreaker, but Samojo did have a pin, but now grabs the ankle, locks onto the ankle.
02:39And, you know, we saw the PWG World Title match, the match before this. If low-key defeats Samoa Joe, where does that put low-key in terms of title contention?
02:49Obviously, Samoa Joe, his, you know, his schedule prevents him from being, you know, there are a lot of factors that both are, whether somebody is given a title, sorry, or one of those factors, is this different?
03:02Will they be able to defend? If they won the title, will they be able to defend it on all those shows?
03:06Unfortunately for Samoa Joe, he's, you know, he's not able to make all the PWG shows, but, you know, as far as I know, low-key would be able to, and so if low-key were to defeat Samoa Joe here, that would probably put him in very good contention for the PWG World Title after Kevin Steen receives his shot down the line, and, you know, so that could either mean a low-key El Generico or low-key Kevin Steen match.
03:31That's right, that's right, and the factor is now that this man has really changed, I mean, that's, this is why PWG really wanted him to be on these very special shows.
03:42Joe with a jumping knee attack as, as low-key was going for the high kick, but now as Joe would try to, try to, try to capitalize on a, on a downed opponent,
03:52low-key just latched onto the knee, and Joe immediately grabbed up the rope, wasting no time, not trying to reverse out of it, not trying to, try to fight out of it,
04:00just smartly grabbed the ropes, preventing low-key from doing any more damage than he could.
04:04Low-key brings, and Samoa Joe for that matter, that, this is why they're, they're headlining this big two-day event,
04:11they bring a, a different, a dimension, a higher level, if you will, to these shows, and, uh, we are seeing it right here,
04:20these two men, and now, Samoa Joe with a knuckle lock, taking low-key over, and this is no easy task.
04:26I'm not sure that, that they bring a higher level of competition, but definitely a higher level of notoriety,
04:32these two men are obviously more, uh, more well-known than, uh, than quite a few members of the, of the, the PWG roster,
04:38such as myself, or yourself, or, you know, but, I mean, still, I think that the, if, if you step into the ring as a, as a personal wrestler,
04:45you do have, you do have the heart, you do have the drive to, to go in there, and now Samoa Joe switching over to a cross-arm breaker,
04:52but low-key, you can see latches on, preventing Joe from fully stretching him out, but, I mean, I think that the, the, the level of, uh,
04:59of intensity, the level of competition is the same whether you're in the opening match or the main event match,
05:03but, I mean, it's definitely the notoriety, the visibility of these two athletes is what gives this match a special aura,
05:09is, you know, these are two men that you see on TV that, you know, week in and week out, and that, you know,
05:14they have not met in singles competition that much, and, I mean, so this definitely does have a very special match feel to him.
05:20I surely, certainly didn't want to take away from any of our roster, I mean, I'm sorry that, if that's the way my point was taken,
05:26I, I certainly didn't mean to do that, I, I was just trying to say that this is a, a marquee match,
05:31and, uh, this is, this is a very special, uh, match, with all the two hard hitters in there,
05:36and we see it right there as neither man going anywhere right there.
05:40Samoa Joe staggered by the chalk from low-key, a bit unexpected, and we've seen, uh,
05:45when Samoa Joe wrestles, wrestles heavy hitters like that before, I mean, even, despite his size,
05:50despite his girth, he's still affected by shots like that, and, I mean, it, so that, that could be the opening
05:56that low-key was looking for, to see, uh, to see how susceptible Samoa Joe is to, to an attack like that.
06:03Absolutely, referee, Aaron Hassan, looking in, on the side headlock by low-key, and, uh,
06:09and just stopping this big man, uh, temporarily, I believe, and now, Samoa Joe back to his feet,
06:15now backing low-key in, throwing him off, low-key off the ropes, another shoulder tackle,
06:21and Samoa Joe is going nowhere.
06:23Hard right-hand shot, Aaron Hassan, telling him to open up the fingers, that was a close-fish shot,
06:28caught, caught low-key right on the side of the jaw, and, whoa, running through a series of chops
06:34from low-key, slapping him in the face, now these two men, just trading chops in the center of the ring,
06:39going toe-to-toe, blow-for-blow, and then Enziguri staggers low-key, and he's going down after the shoulder tackle.
06:48Wow, and low-key out to the floor, Samoa Joe, unbelievable, what is he going to take to knock down
06:57this mountain, and, man, I believe, uh, low-key can do it, but, man, he, he is out on the floor
07:03early on the match, absolutely.
07:05As low-key down on the floor, Samoa Joe, Samoa Joe was going for a dive, but low-key countered it
07:12with a kick to the side of the head as Joe was leading with his head, to dive out of the ring,
07:16he had his head sticking through the middle and top rope, and low-key caught him right behind the ear
07:21with that hard shot, and now low-key using those, that ring barrier, and, uh, to his advantage,
07:27and now low-key, uh, just, to great effect, low-key, and now the chop across the chest of
07:34Samoa Joe, low-key pressing the attack, keeping on, concentrating on Samoa Joe, rolling over
07:40the bottom up to break the, break the 20 count from Eric Hassan, and now low-key still keeping
07:45on, he's just latched on to Samoa Joe, and he's not going to let go, he's not going to waste
07:49time posturing to the crowd, he's not going to waste time, um, you know, drawing with the
07:54fans, he has got one goal ahead of him, and that is defeating Samoa Joe, and he is, he's
08:00like a, you know, he's like a missile, like an arrow, he is focused on his target, and he
08:05is not straying from the course, but Samoa Joe is backing him up with those chops, and causing
08:10him to stray from the course, oh, low-key, low-key, low-key just went chest first into the, oh, now he's,
08:17grabbing a chair from ringside, this could be the ole kick we've seen on many an occasion
08:22from Samoa Joe, after low-key just went hard into the, uh, those ring barriers, and now Samoa Joe,
08:28he's got low-key right where he wants him, and he's gathering up a full head of steam, comes
08:33charging in, and, but low-key, with the, almost like a Lex Luger-esque forearm shot to the top
08:40of, uh, top of Samoa Joe's head, stopped him in, in his tracks, and Joe went down after some, or after
08:47low-key just blasted him in the face. And now, low-key, throwing Samoa Joe back in the ring,
08:53unbelievable action outside of this ring, now, and quick lateral press, one, just a one-count right there,
08:59that's how, uh, immense that Samoa Joe is, only getting one count, unbelievable.
09:05Samoa Joe, as, as determined as low-key, perhaps, might be a little more determined, not,
09:11not willing to let the smaller man get the better of him, I'm not sure, uh, if, if Samoa Joe has
09:16some sort of reverse Napoleon syndrome or not, but, uh, either way, flashing elbow by low-key on Samoa Joe,
09:23driving the point of his elbow into the sternum of Samoa Joe, and, uh, low-key really taking the fight
09:30to Samoa Joe, this is, this is impressive just on show.
09:33Very impressive, and, and he has effectively grounded Samoa Joe, which is no easy task.
09:39Samoa Joe, with those big tree trunk-like legs, it's tough to get him off his feet, and low-key realizes
09:45that he had to put a lot of work into getting Joe off of his feet, and so he's gonna do his damnedest to keep him there,
09:50and that's exactly what low-key is doing as he applies the leg scissors to the head of Samoa Joe,
09:55trying to, trying to cut the blood flow off to the brain, but, uh, Aaron Hassan calling for the three count,
10:01only getting two from Joe as Joe caught up on the third, and now inching his way over to the, over to the rope,
10:08where you can see low-key is hanging on for dear life, trying to prevent Samoa Joe from getting to the rope
10:13to break up the hole, breaking on the three count from Aaron Hassan.
10:17Low-key is not, not wasting any opportunity to hurt Samoa Joe, to inflict some pain on Samoa Joe,
10:25and hopefully inflict enough pain in order to win himself this match.
10:29Oh, big kick to the chest of Samoa Joe.
10:32But Samoa Joe is reeling, I'm not sure, uh...
10:36When was the last time you saw Joe look like this?
10:38I can't imagine, it's been a long time, and I, so long I can't even remember.
10:43And now, Samoa, or excuse me, low-key.
10:46Oh, but Joe rocks it with a right fist, a second one, a third one, and now a fourth one, running off the ropes.

11:03But what damage do those hard right hands do to low-key?
11:07And now Joe rolling outside the ring, and stalking his prey is low-key right here.

11:13Leaping, but caught by Samoa Joe!

11:17Samoa Joe charging with a full head of steam, and he just bulldozed low-key right into the barriers at ringside.

12:12You could see him holding his face after Samoa Joe just plowed right through him!

12:21He's gonna have to wear a mask like Rick Hamilton!

12:25That's very possible!
12:26Now, and now Joe is back on offense in not a very enviable position from Loki!
12:31The fans were chanting, Joe is gonna kill you!
12:34And that is an ill omen for Loki!
12:36As Samoa Joe just goes to work, diving knee drop right across the chest!
12:40His full weight comes down on the chest of Loki!
12:43And now the lateral crest right there, not enough to keep Loki down!
12:48But, wow!
12:49What an exchange we just witnessed!
12:51And Samoa Joe now is in full control!
12:54Now he's gonna hook the arm into the chin lock!
12:58But, I tell you what, this is just, this is the power of Samoa Joe!
13:03He's just choking the life out of Loki!
13:05Just wrenching on that face almost like a stretch plumb!
13:09As he's just cranking on the head of Loki!
13:12And pulling him from side to side, trying to separate his head from his shoulder!

13:18Joe is just, he is, oh my god!
13:21He's like a Wolverine!
13:23He's just latched on!
13:24And he's not letting go under any circumstance!
13:27And he's just trying to separate Loki's head from his shoulder!

13:34Where Samoa Joe was fighting back!

13:37Kicked him on the top of the head!
13:39Stunned the big man!
13:40But Loki, a great desperation attack!
13:42But what, what, what did it gain him?
13:44Did he damage Joe enough to, to come back in this match?
13:48Or did he just anger him further?
13:49Maybe he just bought him a little bit of time!
13:51That's all I can say!
13:53But here, now, Samoa Joe just, right on top of him!
13:56He's shrugging off that kid!
13:57He's like, oh my god!
13:58He just saw the sweat, just, just pop right off the chest!
14:02And Loki right there!

14:04Loki throwing face first into the top turnbuckle with Samoa Joe!
14:08Keeping the attack on Loki!

14:12And Loki, you can see the look of determination on his face!

14:17But I mean, I, I dare anybody to let Samoa Joe chop him on the chest!

14:25That's kinda, that could ruin your day, week, month, or year!

14:29Oh, and now just stepping on the, the face, neck, and chest!

14:36And we saw what damage this did to the barrier of ringside!
14:39Now Joe coming off!
14:41And there we see!

14:43And Loki clutching his hands to the face!

14:47You could be holding his, the bones of his face in place!
14:50Oh my god!
14:51And think about that!
14:52The fluid buildup on, you know, in the, in the broken bone, uh, the broken bone fractures!
14:58Causing the, that, those fractures to expand further!
15:01What immense pain that must be!
15:03For Loki!
15:04If in fact, he does have a broken face!
15:07My god!
15:08What, what do they do?
15:09They put a cast on his face?
15:10I mean, what, what do they do?
15:11I think you gotta get a steel plate!
15:12And they gotta, they gotta, they gotta...

15:14Oh, they have to, they have to cut open your face and weld a plate together with screws!

15:19And that could be exactly what, what Loki has in his future, even if he does come away

15:45And the kick to the back, right on target, right between the shoulder blades!
15:50Maximum impact, maximum damage, but not maximum result as Samoa Joe kicks out at two!
15:56Oh my god, and this is just, we expect this to be a hard-hitting affair, and it has exceeded
16:02even my expectations, and now Loki trying to get Samoa Joe up!
16:07He's just muscling him up!

16:09And now, now Samoa Joe is in the clutches of the key crusher, but gets to the ropes!
16:15I think Samoa Joe is actually worried about this!
16:18I mean, a man of Joe's size, he's got at least 100 pounds on Loki, Loki probably shouldn't
16:23be able to lift him up!

16:25And Chop just dropped the big man down!
16:27He, you know, under the best of circumstances for Samoa Joe, he could prevent Loki from lifting
16:32him up all day long!

16:34But after taking such punishment, he could be susceptible to the key crusher!
16:37He could be susceptible to Loki lifting him up and dropping him down on the back of his
16:42head!
16:43So, Loki taking it to the outside!
16:45This is where Samoa Joe did his most damage to Loki!
16:49On the outside, I'm not sure if this is the smartest move on Loki's part, but he seems
16:54to know what he's doing, giving a chop to Samoa Joe!

17:00Joe comes back with a short headbutt, and the right hand underneath the jump!
17:05He's looking for that knockout point on Loki, but Loki's got a thick skull like Cro-Magnon
17:11Mad, and he's going to take more than that!
17:14And Samoa Joe rocking Loki with that hard elbow shot, knocking him all the way back into
17:19the ring barrier!
17:20Unbelievable!
17:21And they have to be very wary of the count right here, and I think Joe, yes!
17:26Joe is aware of that, rolling Loki back into the ring under the bottom rope, and keeping
17:30the attack on Loki now!
17:33And Aaron Hassan making a one, two, two count only right there!
17:37You can see Loki still clutching his hands to his face!
17:40I can't imagine what immense pain he is in!
17:44And now Samoa Joe seems to be showing a bit of frustration, not going to put away Loki!
17:49And referee Aaron Hassan asking Loki, is he going to give up?
17:53And Loki not ready to give up just yet, as Samoa Joe keeps the attack on, and driving Loki
18:00face first into the middle turnbuckle, now bringing him up to the top rope!
18:04He's got him set up, he's looking for the muscle buster, but Loki is blocking it!
18:08Loki I believe has a front chancery on Joe, and oh no!
18:12Now he's got him in the hanging, I believe it's the hanging dragon, I'll call it the hanging
18:17gardens for lack of a better term!
18:19And now Loki brings himself back up to the top after working over the shoulder of Joe,
18:24and Joe hits him with that flying elbow to the top of the head, but Joe doesn't go down!
18:30Joe is still on his feet, and that just goes to show you what a tough athlete Samoa Joe is,
18:36and how hard the head of Samoan's!

18:39The rolling kick doesn't take down Joe either!
18:42The Samoan head showing off its, I guess its benefits for Samoa Joe in this instant!

18:49And now, this chops from Loki, he's, oh my God!
18:54Just popping the chest, but no, Joe is going nowhere!
18:58Joe holding him to the top rope, preventing Loki from the hammer throw, and now Samoa Joe,
19:04just the recipient of about 25, maybe 30 consecutive chops from Loki, he's slowing down,
19:11but we saw this last night, oh no, he didn't speed up again, instead he just finished with
19:15one big one, hammer throw, reverse by Samoa Joe!

19:19The diving elbow shot to the top of the head still doesn't take down Samoa Joe!
19:22The knee lift to the midsection though, staggers Loki, sole butt to the midsection by
19:26Loki, off and down, the high hook kick has got Joe down on one knee, Loki springs,
19:33and then catches him with that Gaman Guri right between the eyes, hits him with the
19:38front face kick, and Samoa Joe goes down like a ton of bricks!
19:42One, two, two count only, Joe getting the shoulder up!
19:47I thought that that might have been it, and Loki still has his work cut out for him!
19:52I think for a lesser man, or perhaps a non-Samoan, that may have been three, I can't imagine
19:57anybody withstanding the punishment that Samoa Joe has from Loki, and let alone the punishment
20:02Loki has been stood from Samoa Joe!
20:04And Loki getting two kicks right in there, going for the third one right here, but blocked
20:09by Samoa Joe, and now Samoa Joe getting the, oh!
20:13Joe springs to life, and gets caught with a roundhouse kick right behind the air!
20:19One, two, two count only, as Samoa Joe kicks out frustration painted on the face of Loki!
20:26What is, what does Loki have to do to put down this, this mountain of a man?
20:32I think Loki was just trying to reset his jaw right there!

20:36Now, going for the key crusher again!

20:41He's got him hooked up, and after that roundhouse kick, I'm sure that was...

20:49The Mongolian chop brings Joe down right across the collarbone, no matter how hard his head
20:53is, the collarbone is still just as tough as anybody else's, as Loki throws Joe into the

21:00The ST Joe just brings him down, as Loki went to come in with another diving elbow attack,
21:05but Joe had the presence of mind to reverse it, and threw Loki down to the mat, just like
21:10yesterday's garbage!
21:11Unbelievable!
21:12That's how fast the Samoa Joe can turn the tide, right there!
21:16And now, what is he gonna go for?
21:19Powerbomb, I believe!
21:20Yes!
21:21Boom!
21:22Right down in the ring!
21:23Boom California!
21:24One!
21:25Two!
21:26Gets out of it!
21:27But the STF by Samoa Joe!
21:29Just cranking, he's looking for it, but Loki won't let him get his head, and very smart
21:33wrestling by Loki preventing Joe from getting his head, but Joe's got his grip finally!
21:37He's got him, I believe, in a crippled cross face, as Loki is making his way to the ropes,
21:44inching his way, but Joe latches onto the hand, preventing Loki from making any further
21:48progress.

21:50Gets a toe across the rope.
21:51And that's all it takes for him to break the hole.
21:54And Joe's showing now his frustration again!
21:57And both these men just fighting tooth and nail, and Loki, I think he is almost out of
22:04it, and Joe can put him away, right here!
22:07The fans firmly behind Samoa Joe, but about five minutes ago, those same fans were all
22:11chanting Loki, and now they're dueling Key and Joe chants, as Joe sends Loki to the corner,
22:17Loki ducks out from under the way, but Samoa Joe hits him with the back elbow, Loki's staggered,
22:23Samoa Joe jumping knee off the middle rope, he's just taking down Loki!

22:34Loki is able to kick out after the diving knee to the face, just further inflicting

22:49I would say the Samoa Joe boot slide that broke the ring barrier.
22:53That would be just a blur if that was coming at you.
22:57Those knee lifts across the chin of Loki, Samoa Joe has Key in the sleeper hold, but
23:02Loki's looking for any way to reverse it.
23:04Hitting Joe with those chops to the thigh, trying to dead leg him, takes him down with
23:09the arm toss, the judo throw, and now Joe back up to his feet as Loki hits him with
23:14that John Woo and he knocked him back a solid five feet!

23:18How do you knock Samoa Joe back five feet?
23:21Loki's such tremendous explosivity knocking Joe back, and you can see Joe's just gasping
23:28for breath after he had his lungs compressed by Loki.

23:33And now Loki, the cartwheel kick catches him, is right on target, Joe staggers out, and Samoa Joe
23:41is, oh this is it, he's going for the Key Crusher, and this is the perfect storm!
