We asked the people of the Isle of Man what different Manx phrases they know

00:39Well, I'm ashamed to say that. I've been here 31 years and unfortunately I don't know any phrase at all.

00:54What does it mean?
00:54Ah, you see, well, you've got to be Manx, you see.
00:57I am Manx.
00:58You are Manx.
00:59Well, you see, you're Manx and you don't know.
01:01But you talk to these old Manx farmers, right?
01:03And they'll tell you what a Sniggin' butt is, yes sir.
