00:00I have removed this frill, hemmed the dress, and now I'm reattaching the frill.
00:06So the purpose of alterations, and I suppose the end goal, is that every item that you touch
00:14should look exactly the same way as you receive the item. That's what I'm always trying to achieve.
00:21So in this case, what is wrong with the dress?
00:24It was too long for my lady.
00:30So to get the optimum length for the gown, we took about four centimetres off the bottom of the gown.
00:39But you don't do just alterations, do you?

00:48I've even fixed a Bambi bucket for a firefighting helicopter company.
00:52So there's sort of no limit to what I can sew.
00:55Just setting it onto the machine in the hoop. Make sure it's clear. It's not caught.
01:03Something more heartbreaking than when you catch your own shirt and embroider it onto itself.
01:10And then I can run a trace. Make sure it's not going to hit the frame.
01:14I'm going to start the machine.
01:24I'm going to start the machine.
01:44I'm going to start the machine.
01:45I think I'm going to start the machine.
