00:00We have all converted our data set into tables before for the benefit of having always visible
00:05header, banded rows and formatting, sorting and filtering, calculating table data with total
00:10rows but sometimes you want all that spiffy features minus the table formatting. Maybe
00:16because you like your formatted table way better than Microsoft. Well, this is how we can carve
00:21out the formatting portion while keeping the cool table features. Let's start off by converting our
00:27data set into table. Place your cursor in your data set. Press ctrl a to select your whole data set.
00:32Press ctrl t to open up create table here. I'm going to leave my check box as my table has header
00:37because it does and click ok. Under the table design quick style you're going to select clear
00:43the formatting which will clear the formatting. Now press ctrl shift l to get rid of the filtering
00:48and it looks exactly like your own table except that this is actually a table.
