00:00I recently uploaded a video demonstrating two methods to separate student name and their corresponding test score results.
00:06One with using go to special, another one with filter.
00:09Now somebody suggested using rep row function, which is excellent but exclusive to Microsoft 365 only.
00:16Let me demonstrate.
00:17Let's say we have the same data set here where you have student name and test result.
00:21In order to split this, you can use rep rows, open parenthesis, and you highlight the raw data set like this,
00:29and you say comma two.
00:31The reason why you have two is because you've got two fields in it, student names and test result.
00:35You can see name and test result, close parenthesis and hit enter.
00:38What rep row does is it automatically splits the two rows or rather the two data set or two fields into two columns like this.
00:46The beauty of this is that this one when you make changes here to let's say 88,
00:51you can see that your rep row table get updated accordingly as well.
00:55And rep row is also powerful in the sense that when you have, like say for this one here, you have four different fields,
01:01and your raw is also have four different fields like this.
01:04You can simply use the rep row function like before, rep rows with an S, open parenthesis,
01:10and then you highlight the raw data set again.
01:13And the second argument, now this timer will be four because you have student name, test result, gender, and favorite food.
01:20Close parenthesis and hit enter and it will split those raw data set into four different columns.
01:27That's a great idea.
01:28Nice.
01:29I want to pay attention.
01:30All right, I want to show you a little bit please.
01:32Many of you.
01:33Now let's just wait, please.
01:34All right.
01:35Here's the final question.
01:36What are you actually watching between?
01:37You know, all right?
01:38What are you watching?
01:39Yes, that's all right.
01:40The final question of the first one.
01:42In your voice of this, I just want to get into the next column.
01:44You can take a little bit off of the first down column that you want.
01:46In your voice of this, I want to give the rest.
01:48I can tell you a little bit more, once again.
01:50You know the first two guys.
01:51You know the first one.
01:52I want to get out, two guys.
