Marcos says no new allocation needed for flood control projects in 2026

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says on Sept. 9, 2025 that a new allocation for the government’s flood control projects 'is not needed' for 2026 as there are still about P350 billion in public funds in this year’s expenditure still to be fully used.
