00:00so over here you can see that I have a video file right here which is a fast
00:14pace let's say for example environment right here as I pause you can actually
00:19see that there are little lines right here that is because this is an
00:23interlaced video that I'm playing so by using handbrake what you can actually
00:29also do is convert sets interlaced videos into progressive so that the lines
00:34don't show up interlace is an old format used for old televisions but for modern
00:39formats but for modern gadgets progressive videos are the way to go and
00:45then handbrake and let you convert the video types accordingly so for that I'm
00:49going to go around over here onto file and then I'm going to go ahead and load
00:54up that so I'm just going to go around onto my Twitter tube drive and then if
00:58I were to go ahead and then scroll right here so I got like let's say for
01:03example mall interlaced file right here so let me just go ahead and open this up
01:08right here and you can see that the preview loads up so now what I can simply
01:12do is go around over here on to let's say for example filters right here and you
01:18can see that d interlace is an option so by default you can see that decom is used
01:24right here but you can go ahead and utilize the d interlacing method as you
01:31want right here so you can go for yet if or you can go ahead and select decom right
01:36here so let's just go ahead on the ad if which is much more commonly used and a
01:40common method of d interlacing and over here you can see that there's default but
01:45Bob is the way to go so yeah different Bob works out well for d interlacing out
01:50footages such as these so once I go ahead and set this out right here I'm going to
01:55go around over here and then you can see that it's mp4 so I'm not going to change
02:00anything else so now over here and save as let me just go around over here on to
02:05browse and then select out that particular folder right here so let's just go
02:12around over here on to videos and then I'm going to go around on to exports right
02:16here just like this and over here I'm going to say d in in interlaced right
02:24here just like this mall right here dot mp4 let's just go ahead and select this
02:30and then click on see and I'm going to go ahead and start the encoding process now
02:34and it gets converted out just like that so that is what you have right here so
02:41now if I were to go around on to this folder this is where you have you got the
02:45de interlaced mall as you can see right here so let's just go ahead and quickly
02:49open it out with VLC media player and now as I pause you don't see those lines
02:54anymore so you can see that the video has now been converted and de interlaced out
03:00just like that and that is how you can go ahead and de interlace and utilize
03:05filters inside of handbrake just like this so hope you guys learn something as
03:10always and as always please like comment share and subscribe
